I have not heard much about British men fashion company The Non , that I have recently met with. However, I was very pleased when I checked out its collections. Strange, edgy, and neo-classic I think. Here are some pictures from the latest collection called " The Golden Dawn ". The whole collection are the blend of classic "dandy" style and futuristic forms. After I got my very first Birkin, I said "Yes, This is it!! I made it!". However, my insatiability lead me tto explore the new pursuit... Can a guy pull of the Hermes Kelly bag? I know, I know... While people are still arguing Men with Birkin, this question may be too much to ask, right?

Actually, I don't think so!!! I believe that it's not about the size of Kelly bag, in addition to the size, its proportions are masculine.

So.... as you understand, i decided to get a Kelly bag! But, don't know which size, which colour and which type of leather would be great choice????

I haven't smell it yet, but it is is described as “floral, woody, and very green” (including notes of fern) as well as “ambery and oriental.”

Yesterday, the house released its ad campaign video, and I loooovee it!! couldn't help myself to share with you :)

Lady Gaga ve Beyonce' un heyecanla beklediğim "Telephone" klibi geçen cuma yayınlandı. Haftasonu bir türlü izleyemedim, ama şimdi izledikten sonra hiç beklemeden sizlerle paylaşmak istedim. Klip zaten yine müthiş bir zekanın ve yaratıcılığın ürünü. İnanılmaz güzel yani bilemiyorum Gaga'yı sevdiğimden mi bilemem ama aşık oldum diyebilirm klibe.
Beni en çok sevindiren ve bir o kadar şaşırtan kısmı ise, Gaga'nın cinselliğiyle olan tartışmalara bu klip ile birlikte son verilecek olması. İşte size aynen aşağıda o kareyi iletiyorum.... Umarım bu herkese kapak olur ;)

2010-11 Sonbahar-Kış modasını şöyle gözden geçirdiğimde, beni en çok sevindiren şeylerden biri de kürklerin kullanılmasıydı... Tabii ki gerçek kürk taraftarı değilim fakat, soğuklara karşı belki de en iyi çözüm kürkler... Şahsen kürk atkılarımı çok seviyorum ve anlaşılan o ki önümüzdeki kışta onlara dolabımda yer vermeye (belli ki daha fazla) devam edeceğim...

Gianfranco Ferre'nin kürkleri kullanış biçimini oldukça beğendim....

John Richmond ise oldukça eğlenceli bir şekilde kullanmış

Hôtel Costes Vol. 12

Hôtel Costes serisinin benim için herzaman ayrı bir yeri ve çekiciliği olmuştur. Bugün tekrar içimde onu dinleme arzusu hissettim ve serinin son harikası olan Vol. 12 yi dinledim ve bu yazıyı yazarken hala dinliyorum. Bu albümde tüm şarkılar bir yana, çok çok sevdiğim bir şarkı var ki sizlerle bunu paylaşmak istiyorum. Orsten ın kendine has bir tarzıyla tekrar yorum kattığı Beethoven'ın Ayışığı Sonatı'nın ilk bölümü olan Adagio Sostenuto yu dinlemenizi şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum. Hôtel Costes X dan da yine Orsten imzalı Fleur Blanche'ı da kesinlikle dinleyin!!!

Milano botlandı...

Geçen hafta Milano Moda Haftası'nda uzun, askeri botlar yine en cok öne çıkan aksesuarlardan oldu. Oldukça çeşitli versiyonları da var. Botlar tüm tasarımcılar tarafından -özellikle bilmeniz gerekenler tarafından- tüm showlarda tanıtıldı.

Slim kesim jeanlerle kombinleminizi şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum, ayrıca paçalar botun içinde kalmalı!

Eğer pantolonu botunuzun içine atmadan kullanmak isterseniz, pantolonunuzun paçalarinin cok az daha geniş olmasına özen gösterin. Açıkca anlaşılıyor ki, 2011 Kış, tekrar botlanmanız gerekecek :)

PS: Bu arada kış indirimi bir çok mağazada hala sürerken, botlara da göz atmayı unutmalayım! :)

Something is afoot, and you don't have to be as cunning as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to spot it.Holmesian looks have been popping up on runways, The Sartorialist, and Face Hunter.Sherlockly elements seen about include tweeds, vests, capes, hats, pocketwatches—everything short of magnifying glasses. Certainly, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law have been looking the part for Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movie. But nothing beats tracking down one of these sleuthy looks on the streets. Elementary, our dear readers!

Men Clutches...

Artık messenger çantaların son derece sıkıcı olduğu şu günlerde, 2009 İlkbahar/Yaz koleksiyonlarından itibaren ''clutch'' ların boy göstermiş olduklarını görmek bir hayli refreshing bir etki yarattı üzerimde. Çevremdeki bir çok arkadaşımda bilir ki, ben herzaman ''clutch'' ların bir fanı olmuşumdur. Umarım sizde artık şu messenger'ları emekliye ayırıp, daha stylish bir seçim yaparsınız. Heryere de onlarla gidilmez ki canım! ;)

Key Trends for Men's F/W 10-11

According to Fashion Snoops, here are three key menswear trends for Fall/Winter 2010-11, all include color palettes. Gangs of NY leads with references to 19th century crime bosses and gangsters. Road Warriors offers a hard and aggressive combatant aesthetic. Scrappy Revolutionaries, with its basis in making good in hard times, balances out the trend report.

Gangs of NY

Gangs of New York was sparked by Alexander McQueen and followed by many designers like Zegna. The look draws reference to the 19th century with characters from Bill the Butcher to crime bosses and gangsters that would be found in an impoverished Five Points battle in lower Manhattan. Some Victorian references are apparent in tailoring such as the three-piece suit and select outerwear styles, though skinny pants balanced out many looks. Sepia tones fill the color palette with antiqued neutrals set against black, brown and gray. Leather is relevant on items like the trench coat and accessories.

Road Warrior

Road Warrior makes a very strong post-apocalyptic statement for the season. Leading purveyors of the look include Kris Van Assche and Gareth Pugh. A slick, hard and aggressive combatant aesthetic is realized through black attire and various grays with lots of leather for skinny pants and biker jackets. Metal embellishment exudes a rough look along with shredded jeans. Layers are composed of black on black or dark gray, which creates texture interest with hard leathers versus soft jerseys.

Scrappy Revolutionaries

Scrappy Revolutionaries is yet another thematic reaction to today's challenging economic times. The message is something of making good in hard times and so there are some Post-World-War II references mixed with a touch of Victorian styling that becomes apparent in items like cut-away jackets. Workwear is another key reference point shown with items like conductor pants with suspenders, work shirts and union suits. The color palette focuses on dirty chambray and yellow-cast khaki. Weathered and stained fabrics and chunky knits are worked in and bowler hats top off the look.
