An octagon or round table is always about 48″ across and perfect for smaller playing areas like apartments and kitchens. They tout that they can seat up to 8 players, but they will not really be very comfortable since you will be sitting elbow to elbow. I would limit the number of players to about 6. The long oval tables range from 73″ to 96″ long and seat 8 and 10 players respectively, and more comfortably. But consider whether you really have the room to set one of these up, since you are looking at 7 and 8 foot tables, and 3-1/2 to 4 feet wide. Plus you need to have chairs for each of your players.

It does not matter where you are in the world, it can be very hard to keep these common indoor bugs outside, unless you go to the extremes of keeping all your windows and doors closed at all times, which is quite impossible. I now live in Thailand and I know for sure that this is not an option.

So, what on Earth can you do? Well, let’s deal with all the flying insects first, because of all the common indoor bugs, I find them the most obnoxious indoor bug. They are very annoying, buzzing around your head and mosquitoes and other flies can create painful sores and besides that, all flies spread disease. I hate to see them strutting about on food, knowing that they have probably just come off some dog’s muck somewhere and now they are spitting on my food to taste it with their stinking feet!

My first line of defence is fine-mesh door and widow screens. They are not dear and can be added retrospectively to any window. My window meshes slide, so they can cover only one half of the window at a any one time, but I do not find that a problem. You can still create cross-winds, by opening two or more windows at opposing ends of a room. I just love to see the flies on the mesh trying to get in by day and the mosquitoes doing the same by night. At night, it is wise to turn on as little light indoors as possible in order not to attract these common indoor insects.

My second line of defence is natural predators – lizards, like Geckos (Jin Jok, in Thai). Some people don’t like them in the house either and I can’t say that I’m all that keen on them indoors myself, but they are hard to keep out and they do consume hundreds, if not thousands, of indoor bugs every day. I particularly like to see them lying in wait on the outside of the mesh, ready to jump on any bug trying to wriggle its way through the wires.

My third line of defence is a handheld bug zapper. You know, the electric, handheld bug zapper that looks like a toy tennis racquet. The come in two forms: battery and rechargeable kinds. They are fantastic at trapping and destroying any flying indoor bug. The bug literally explodes and vaporizes on contact with the fully-charged wires of the indoor bug zapper. If you haven’t tried using one, you really ought to. They are most gratifying. These three defences keep our house pretty much free of flying insects.

The crawling common indoor bugs are less of a problem really. Door screens on self-closers will keep 95% of them out and the Geckos will help too. Spiders can get in pretty easily, but then, I don’t mind them too much as long as they keep out of my way, as they consume other insects too. They are on our side to be honest. However, for those who can not bear to catch them and throw them outside, the handheld indoor bug zapper works well on spiders too.

Sometimes, Fleas can be a problem, if you have cats or dogs, but then if you wash or dust the animal once a month, you should be able to keep these common indoor bugs under control fairly easily. However, there are two final methods that we employ. Once a week, before we go out for the day, we spray every room with fly killer and every six-months we spray any rugs or carpets with an insect killer containing permethrin, which will survive washing and vacuuming for that long without losing its ability to kill common indoor bugs on contact. If you follow these methods, you will be able to keep your home or office quite free of the most common indoor bugs and any less common indoor bug as well.

There is an absence of aluminum, zing, manganese, chlorine and sodium. Due to its rich content in iron this type of clay is to be used by people deficient in iron. It is also widely used in skin care and cosmetics.

Yellow Clay: Found nearby red clay, yellow clay gets its color from a yellow-orange iron oxide and can be found on hilltops where it has been drained by rain (hence Aluminum, zinc, manganese, sodium and chlorine have been washed out). With a pH 5, a very high concentration in iron but practically no aluminum, this type of clay is recommended for bone problems and tiredness (it should be used in conjunction with green clay).

Pink Clay: It does not exist in a natural state. Pink clay is obtained by mixing red and white clay. The combined properties of both clays makes the pink clay ideal for beauty preparations. Pink clay is soft, it is recommended for sensitive skins, dehydrated skins, baby skins and facial creams. This clay is used for external purposes only.

White Clay: White clay results from the erosion of granular rocks. It is situated on sites subjected to heavy drainage by rain. White clay is a 2 layered structure with a pH of 5 and is recommended for beauty care. It is very effective with sensitive skins and is suitable for both children and adults.
