these tiny toes yearn to tiptoe across the earth, to intimately kiss lands both near & far, dance urban walkways & sink into forests' mossy carpets. sometimes they wiggle involuntarily as though personally daydreaming of the far-aways they may one day know. i've always had the ramblin' blues but i know i'm gonna retire my rambling ways one of these days. & when i do i'm going to press my roots deep into the earth & settle so surely into the soil, drinking in the raindrops & sunlight. but i'll especially soak up the whispering moonbeams. for i am & always will be a moon-child--born of the moon, i find my truest self in its honey-glazed & honest light.

spark by irreplaceable spark, together we will light up this world again.
