Testimony of my first encounter with God, I hope this shines some light that help you have realization that as a very young child between the age of 7-9 I never fit in. You know that saying you are, your own worst enemy. Well at 7-9 years old you don't understand this and you can feel very alone. So alone even in your own home. Well I had two brothers and two working parents. Which the typical 9-5 work week and weekends parents would take us to the lake Camping with other parents. I think this was just a way to keep us kids out of their hair. Back then, children where to be seen and never heard. So, interaction with the parents was very minimal until you do something wrong and get their attention.

In hope that my sharing my thoughts and testimonies on the web. I can only hope you gain knowledge and wisdom and see a light of maybe's, that it would give you a insight that God could of been talking to you to,or getting your attention. These are also testimonies to be a reminder to self as well. Age is creeping in and i like to reflect back on these pages as well to see how God Talked to me to draw strength from when I can share a testimony of a WOW nature.

Of course, when ever God is getting the glory you bet ya he's going to draw from this and give you those WOW moments. And just a little WOW moment I had and love to Share that

These little in sites come to me and perhaps to many Christians yet we are yet to be authors. But, God loves and abides with us anyways. Showing us miraculous things. In hopes that one day we will fulfill our destiny and tell our stories. But, our Stories to be told are not novels and books it's testimonies of how God came to walk with us and talk with us and became the centers of our world.

I like to start off as far back as I can remember my first encounter with God. Was a lunch date at the end of road of our neighborhood; that used to be a dead end; They did open it into a new development area. But, the encounter happens at that end of an old road and the beginning of the new development area. Let me not get to far ahead of myself. In this new development, there was this new bus route that opened up and carried off children to church. Very young and impressionable I asked so other children what was going on and they told me that they go to a Baptist Church bible study classes and that I was welcome to go. Now, I can't remember if I asked or didn't ask for permission to go on this trip. But, I sure remember wanting very much to get Baptized. So after one of these bus trips I came home asking my mother if I could be Baptized and surely found out that I couldn't because I was Catholic and already been Baptized. Yet, when I become a older how my mother put it and I decide that I would like to change faith. I could make that decision then. So, it was a good enough answer then.

Now God is toughing on my again. But, I can't remember if I kept going on trips with the other kids. But, I sure remember a time that I go to this old abandon white building that looking like an old plantation back in the day. This white house had big pillars in the front. I also remember the grass was overgrown and hadn't been mowed in a while. As mischievous as I was remembered me and a co-friend of my age would roust about this house.

The house was old and full of all kinds of creaking doors. and noise from the wind. This of course added to the charm to this house. And oh well as a child I didn’t understand what was drawing me to this place and the chambers of rooms it had, here in this one room I came across a treasure, at least to me. I was excited and tickle me to have found this treasure. I even held it close not knowing this was going to be mine very own personal Bible to read and have. I felt remembering asking if i could have this treasure for my very own. It was not much to look at. If anything, it was worn out and no cover and pages where falling out. But, I could remember that I wanted to read these pages and felt drawn to them. I even got to take it home. I was a proud owner of this weathered down book that needed so much TLC and someone to read these pages.

Now still only being 7-9 years of age. I could only remember reading Job over and over again. I guess you could say at that age. It was the only word I understood the Chapter heading and gave me no reason why not to start there in reading it. I want to say to you, I felt in agreement that I was going to struggle those same losses in my life. And that I am so glad I got the privileged to read this when young. So I was very prepared for it when it happened in my life.

Let's now get back to the Lunch with God. After being so lucky to have been asked to visit a church of another faith, and finding a gift of treasure (Bible)- in and old house. I then started to get this unloved and unwanted feeling. It over casting me so heavy and drove me to pack my little suitcase. At 7-9 years of age you can imagine not much packed. I had a really old fashion cosmetic bag my mother gave me. Filled it with a hair brush, my new bible, can of tuna, can opener, and if there was other contents at this age they escape me. But, I walked out of the house down the street to the end. This is where the end of the old development to the new development began. There was this big silver gutter under the asphalt road with a stream running through it. not much to and adult but to a small child it look like a stream. Sat and pulled out my tuna and opener. Closed the suitcase up and sat down on the suitcase.

Began to open the tuna and remembered I didn't have a fork to eat. I still ate with my hands that day and talked with God. But, I really remember is asking God to fix my loneliness and that my brother hated babysitting us and made my life not so good. I am sure you would like to think it was a long wishy washy conversation. But, it was like if I talking with my Dad and Mom at the time just to busy to listen. I did at the time think of somewhere else to go and run away to. But, when I ate my lunch and realize I didn't have a fork. I realized I was prepared for such a trip as this. Yet, I believe it was a divine intervention of God to have a talk beside the still waters. Even as a child he makes us lie down in green pastures

Why a Testimony?

Today, I would like to interrupt my recent return to overboardcreations blog to tell and record an testimony of when I was approximately 7-9 years of age. Intermittently I like to tell some testimonies and hope you enjoy them until i can go through my life spans of testimonies. Hopefully i can keep them in order of age. I did do a simply PowerPoint presentation reminder to myself to keep me from straying to much off the path and try to tell My Story.

Since this has been pressing heavily on my heart. At first I though It was to be a book. And I like to tell you most Christians will say the same thing about how the are burdened to write a book. this heavy burden on their heart to write their story or even write a book. Some it meant to perhaps evangelize and write those books. But, I am hear to set some record straight. Writing your story is meant for another purpose. God wants you to remember your past. Not to feel sorry for yourself. But, for an uplifting purpose. I will describe how i mean so. By quoting an example story out of the Bible how King David and his people lose site of his anointing to be king. But then David strengthen himself with the lord by remember what he had done in his past by writing the psalms.

These posting will also somewhat be a treasure to my own growth with God and a please share if you like to know somewhat how God has always been a part of my life as well as your own. Growing and learning through the span of each person life is a personal experience and I hope every person can jot down or verbally share there testimonies. I willing to jot down my testimonies for this will help strengthen me as well as you. Some of you have lows in life and you can look back again and again to strength us on how God got us through those hard times.

Today I like to reflect to a Young boy first to set the stage of a trial that David had before he became the King that he was anointed to be. Now I Highlighted the toppings of each area. Just so it would simplify the telling of the story. Yet included the bible passage for clarity for those who would like to seek my reference. I like to really reflect the reasoning of my discussion. But, the text is there to read the full understanding. or refer to the Bible.

* GOD has Samuel Anoints David as King

1 Samuel 16 King James Version (KJV)

16 And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord.3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.4 And Samuel did that which the Lord spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the Lord: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. * Saul is Removed as king and given a Evil Spirit that only the Harp can sooth it and David is called.

* David flees Saul Camp and is being chased by Saul, because now Saul knows that David is king.

* David flees to the King of Gath Achish the son of Maoch

*Achish asked David to fight with them against Israel his own people and David replied sure.

And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.2 And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever.

*David is asked by Achish to depart because Achish Princes will not fight with David in the ranks.

David had to search his life and past to strengthen himself in the Lord. To us in modern day Christians to draw strength and build our faith and courage we reflect back on our testimonies . We don't have the Big red sea opening up and pillars of clouds and fire leading our way. We have testimonies of whence we became from or our past to draw strength from. Also if we haven't got the testimonies of the walk with God we can also go in the Bible and draw strength from the Lord through his word. But, I like to reflect back to those feelings that come over us Christians we fill the call to Write our Story. I like you to reflect back to David encounters in our life when King Saul abandon David, when King Achish sent him away out of the Camp. the people started losing hope of Davids calling and weeping for they have lost everything. Then and only Then God moved in a mighty way and David Recovered all they had lost and Kind Saul died and David gained the people back and became the King he was meant to be.

So, this is why you see me jotting down my testimonies on this blog. There will be all kinds of tittle and tats of my past testimonies and perhaps I can get caught up with them to bring you to my current testimonies. Yet all my testimonies can be of various natures. Because i craft with my hands I also feel that my hands and mind are used by God to express my feelings and Love for mankind. So I will be sharing some of these wonderful things as well if this is Gods Will. But for now I will be just jotting them down on the Cloud of technology for all to view. But, not for glory of any kind. Just a reminder for me to reflect when I lose heart or lose site of my purpose/strength and need to know that God is always with me. Now! there is many other things i have been up to. My Husband and myself bought a home and we had much to do. I hope you understand that moving is an important decision because you will make a long term settlement to move. So, my husband is very happy of our decision and he gave me what he calls the white card to decorate. so i like to show a few of my decision of home changes and the house we ended up purchasing...

There she is. At first not much to be proud of. But you got to see what i have done with her. Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder. so much flowers to make it pleasing to the eyes.

From Begining to decorating to Halloween to Christmas. Playing House is quite the work out.

All those who own home, can give you the download of all the ins and outs of Just going from holiday to holiday. Spring cleaning and the 12 hour work week and then coming home resting. But soon my time will be open to crafting and showing off some of my features and crafting shows that i intend to start creating my inventory. But , just letting you know i haven't lost the vision of my retiring and having a crafting business Hobby. Until then showing off the first of my accomplishments and place to stabilize my future.

Apps that are worthy to download.

I just downloaded the app and got my card loaded with ten bucks to start my week out right. My time is getting more limited to the available time I have , especially squeezing in time to eat as well as to get ready in the mourning. So, a faster way to start my day off in the mourning. I choose to download an app from a friends suggestions and request to take me out for a cup of coffee.

This wonderful afternoon we decided to download after She got me hooked by the incentives. I then proceeded to downloaded the app, which I got a free coffee and with my AARP member I got my free donut which to qualify for this AARP card you must be 50 or older, you also will have to purchase a large or XL coffee. to redeem the AARP free donut. So, this week I got a good deal plus my birthday is around the corner so dunkin donuts will be giving me another free drink, for using the app as well . There are also other built in discount incentives to help boost the use of the App. This months is already a savings to me. And I haven't even spent the ten dollars I loaded on my card yet. I still have the free drink on my card since the first purchase was a friends invite to take me out for coffee.

First it good to know a time line of the generation target market. Because each generation has gone through different growth in there age time line. For example Generation GI and older generation perhaps don't use the internet, or have and email. so to target this market, you perhaps would do advertising on a TV, newspaper or radio to reach this targeted market. Because this era of population was introduced to the daily paper tossed on there door steps.

If you have a target market around the generation Z I would suggest targeting your consumer through free apps or radio targeted towards the younger generation.

Then the big one is Baby Boomers. they are the most sought after targeted.. Yet they are producing children growth as well. And most of there target market is in the health field do to their aging factor. These are just one of the factors to consider in choosing who is your target market.

Because the market changes so much over time. As you can see by the illustration that every generation has been touched by some kind of technology and this technology has grown as well through the time line. So this would be something that you would consider to get involved with, except the growth is massive and change a great rate. Could be costly to invest in. Instead it is a better bet to learn the advertising spectrum of this technology to reach your target market.

Another example of trends is when the movie hit billion dollar growth, like the movie Frozen you could see the market flooded with all kinds of glitter, party goods and activity on Pinterest of all kinds of DIY projects as well as the stores filling their shelves with items towards this trend. These are well learn over time with the big guys that use there timelines, trends, knowing the target market and advertising to generate revenue. Planning my blogging stradagy ~ and ugly chore

Blogging Strategy:

Keeping it all together is a task, with a full time job as well. So the first thing any blogger should do is set up a strategy. Of course, every time you visit your linky parties and post your blog you are dealing with all the comments and social media so your need to set a time limit that works best for you.

Also when gather your information, Keep a List of things you like to accomplish . I also have great categories such as articles to write with photos and article written. amongst other folders.

I like to accomplish, more than I probably can do. Organization comes in handy. This is why I wanted to set some time aside to accomplish this. I can't say I am the best writer. But, a gift I do have is organization. I love A to Z filing systems and enjoy that computers have folders to help in the organizational skills that I so love. I even used the graph a little to give each site it's own personal day. This way I can enjoy all the things I Love.

Planning my Week:

This is how I planned my week, what I love about me is I can look at a picture and put it together without reading the instructions. This is why I planned my calendar to do things with some iconic icons to help me schedule daily activity. I also post this as my wallpaper on my desk top to keep me on the right track and be a good productive. Still like to leave myself time to work on the blogging, with some motivators for activity that will keep me exercising, dieting, and planning for weekly chores. You can not have a blog and neglect your personal life. Or, you will be great at one thing and a failure at others. Keep yourself in check. You still have to leave yourself some learning time as well. Computers upgrade faster than I can afford to keep up with. even my afternoon of looking for a cord to get my robo crafter up and running again. We have been in our apartment and time that it takes to get it all in order is past due. Do here's the mess I had to deal with to find my Robo Craft missing cord.

I had to do an ugly chore (untangle wires)

Now to untangle this mess, I got my tools together and plastic baggies and zip ties, and I also had to add a little box for the router set, which comes with four wires and to box units that work together.

To untangle the best suggestion I can tell you is start with the larger wires. Much easier to get the T.V. cords out first then work until you get to the very last item. I matched up cords with the phones and combined them in the baggies. After a tidiest two hours of getting things organized. Who-hoo I found the Robo Craft cord, and got a very over due mess cleaned up. Hare's how it finally cane out.

Now the Robo Craft is up and running and I was able to get back on track to making my cards. Completing my first love of Card making is back up and running. Let, me tell you I love to organize,

After hours of studying about glues, paper, sizes , sketches, parties. I had to make some kind of heads or tails out of it. So what better way is to share all the things I am learning.

Now, I have to show you my task chart. I set it up Weekly and have room to edit. I got at least all my listed cards up. and now back to working on my sketches and a cards pic tutorials. Now , Comments and Social media is important for a daily task if you are like myself and enjoy the linky parties (directory here) So, I charted a daily project task planner to help guide me through all my daily activities to not only spend time and learn, but also push myself to write. I couldn't write lengthy articles. So, I choose to make articles like these. Picture tutorial and next I have to find time to learn to make better YouTube videos. I have dabbled a little, not so good yet. If you want to have a laugh. Head over and give me a comment encouragement. Just so you know. Today I feel I got so much accomplished, I Even took a dip in the pool. Crazy hot today. It was well needed after two hours of sorting wires. I did not wake up with that on my mind. But, I am so happy my Robo crafts is back to working again. I got so energized I made a easel card with some of my scented miniature flowers. That have been stored for over a year. If anything, I will give myself a pat for achieving so much today. I been struggling with my leukemia and it accompanies with fatigue and hard to get things done. With this new Calendar planned out for my projects, to help me keep focused. Then placed as wallpaper on my desk top. I am good to go now, to set this in motion for a bit of a reminder to put time limits and upkeep.

The Love of Animals Great or Small

I just have to say my love for animals is over the top. I haven't yet raised any yet because I have always had lived in small domicile. Yet, someway somehow I find a way to be in the environment. From caring for them in my side jobs or taking trips that let me enjoy there company. so I took some photos to share with you . with some details where and how we got to enjoy the trip. IF you look real close, you can see I got kissed by the snake. His hiss touched my check and that was an exciting day for me. :)

Snorkeling in Puerto Rico

First of all , lets start with animals under the sea. I don't mean fish either. Did you know that this sea urchins are living animals under the sea. which are cover with a protective shell and a mouth on their underside for eating. There are over 950 different species of these creatures that live under the sea. This was a fascinating three dives in one day in Puerto Rico. The highlight of the dive was the third dive or our trip, when we swam in a florescent filled of glow in the dark plankton. So no need for lights, because the water provide a well lighted experience. I suggest a trip to one of the many areas that provide snorkeling or kayaking tours. Two weeks of water fun in Puerto Rico and slight humidity showers daily.

Spend a afternoon in intercourse Pennsylvania were you can take a leisure buggy ride around the Amish lands. Authentic drivers, museums to return with gifts for all of the family, and a wonderful dinning experience on a large dinner table where every one passes the platters filled with fixings to fill your tummy. If you like the good ole days, this is the place to experience the way it use to be and still is for many that live in the area of Lancaster Pennsylvania. I even have to mention the cat that almost became a new member of the house. She was a yellow tabby that was just so loving, If I wasn't already a proud owner of a kitten, I would be owning her. Farms are great places to find a new litter of kittens needing a home.

what better way to enjoy the afternoon then to help our towns local hatchery to stock the local streams for the fisherman. Lil Le Hi Trout Hatchery - Allentown, PA You wouldn't believe this is not one of Pennsylvania top attractions but, it gets a lot of buzz around here for the people that know about it. And the reason why we love it. It only cost is the food if you choose to feed the fish. This trip is for the whole family. I have been here at least twice a year, and most of the time I go up the road for a walk around the walking trail that's a round about that you will see bikers , horse back riding , fishing and the occasional bat swooping by. My last visits the birds where fending there territory of new offspring's by swooping past our heads. What a thrilling day that was. If you like the ducks, and geese in the stream your going to be thrilled by this walk, especially in the first part of spring when all the ducks are mating.

There is so much to do, and its just the beginning of the summer festivities. I lost so many great photos that I noted some of my most favorable animal moments so I have them documented. and I had so much more to share. yet there only memories now

I couldn't wait to show this beautiful art work. I was browsing Facebook, and this caught my eye from my friend site. She had this remarkable photo of her rock filled with petunia's. A friend brother was so precious enough to drill a whole in the rock and then he give to her this thoughtful gift. This beauty was found in a fiends back yard. If you look closely enough you can see that the pot of petunias are sitting in the rock. This was a rock that was used by a drilling process. If you like to make one of your own. rdinarily I like to start with a elaborate detailed photo of my topic, as my grand entrance to my article. But this is, going to be the topic of using letters. This was a wonderful way, back in story book days. Then, why can't it work for an article now. I used to love to see the beginning of the story book starting with

nce upon a time, just brings me back so many memories of the story telling of fables. It brings fantasy and magic to the pages. I still like to implement this now. With the romantic letter to lure you into a story of happiness, romance, the importance of a subject, or even cues in to a special topic that inspires the reader.

Make sure you are using a single letter to start the beginning of your sentence to add that touch of elegance. Not a monogram using more that one letter. Knowing that we are in a text savvy world, still means use full sentence and full words to write. These helps all people to understand of all walks of life. We are looking at this for beauty not shorthand. There is so many types of fonts on the Computer that can complement your piece or you can create a letter in a program. I use different programs like paint.

Remember ice cube trays that function to be an ice cube tray. Well they have evolved to being molds since the new technology of flexible rubber bake ware. Comes in all kinds of shape, sizes color.

Did you know how versatile the ice cube tray has gotten over the age of time.

You can do all kinds of other things like freeze, chill and mold items, even using them for your crafting needs.

Like to give you a few of my tips that I use myself for using them in making some awesome treats.

Suggestions.

1. make rice crispy in a ice cube tray as a mold for a quick pop snack

2. Make a marble cheese cake as a quick snack and monitor your calories

3. lemon juice or squeeze lemon plus some sweet n low diluted with water to make ice cubes to make lemon water for your drink.

4. set a strawberry and water in ice cube trays - set some blue berries and water in ice cube trays then add to a white lemonade to make a colorful Red white and blue drink

5. Make chocolate and peanut butter layers treats that I chill in trays

6. freeze cookie dough to cook one cookie at a time. to help me on my diet not to eat to many treats at once. Great for portion control.

7. Don' t forget the old fashion ice cube. that I use to make smoothies. 4 strawberries, 1 banana , spoonful of apple juice, ice cube, I use bottle water because I can't have fluoride. blend and you get a 116 calorie quick drink for the summer. Omit the banana and you have a 16 calorie drink. great for quenching the thirst and the calories.

I actually love to collect lavender Pyrex, I moved to a new residence and stored my Pyres under the stove. Then I got nothing but headache, the dishes started getting a backed on mess from the constant heat generated by my cooking. Now I had to find a solution.

Thank God for the easy of goggling the answer. I had to get online looking for the answer to clean it. Well ! with no help I finally stumbled on the recipe to clean pots and pans and it works great. When heat made the problem , you need heat to fix the problem.

Directions to Clean:

Fill your Pyrex dishes with about 1/2 cup baking soda and covered the bottom with white vinegar. Put Into the oven at 250 for cook for about a 1/2 hour.

Then the stain will come off in sheets! No scrubbing-no no fuss. This was a blessing to clean. I salvaged my dishes and you can use this same method on other pots and pans.
