<p><strong>Lisa Williamson </strong>is an actor and author. Her multi-award winning debut novel, <em><strong>The art of Being Normal, </strong></em>is an engaging and sensitive portrait of a transgender teen. Williamson&#8217;s latest book, <em><strong>All about Mia, </strong></em>is set to be another compelling work of YA fiction.</p>

<strong>Rachel Clarke </strong>was a TV journalist before deciding to retrain as a medic. She is now an NHS hospital doctor and the winner of the Medical Journalists&#8217; Association award for blogger of the year. Her first book, <em><strong>Your Life in My Hands, </strong></em>seeks to capture the truth about life on the NHS frontline.</p>
<p><strong>Suellen Dainty </strong>is the author of <em><strong> After Everything. </strong></em>An Australian, she was a writer for the <em>Sydney Morning Herald</em> before moving to London where she became the producer and director of the original series of <em>The Book Show </em>on Sky. Dainty will be discussing her latest novel, <em><strong>The Housekeeper.</strong></em></p>
<p><strong>Sophie Hopesmith </strong>describers herself as a reader, writer and seeker of the sublime and the ridiculous, who laughs in the dark. Her debut novel, <em><strong> Another Justified Sinner, </strong></em> is a black comedy about the rise and fall of Marcus, a &#8216;slippery sinner&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>R.E.J. Karlsson </strong>is a linguist who has spent his time post university split between teaching and researching for his forthcoming (yet to be named) podcast which will cover many aspects of language and linguistics.</p>

<strong>Rachel Clarke </strong>was a TV journalist before deciding to retrain as a medic. She is now an NHS hospital doctor and the winner of the Medical Journalists&#8217; Association award for blogger of the year. Her first book, <em><strong>Your Life in My Hands, </strong></em>seeks to capture the truth about life on the NHS frontline.</p>
<p><strong>Suellen Dainty </strong>is the author of <em><strong> After Everything. </strong></em>An Australian, she was a writer for the <em>Sydney Morning Herald</em> before moving to London where she became the producer and director of the original series of <em>The Book Show </em>on Sky. Dainty will be discussing her latest novel, <em><strong>The Housekeeper.</strong></em></p>
<p><strong>Sophie Hopesmith </strong>describers herself as a reader, writer and seeker of the sublime and the ridiculous, who laughs in the dark. Her debut novel, <em><strong> Another Justified Sinner, </strong></em> is a black comedy about the rise and fall of Marcus, a &#8216;slippery sinner&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>R.E.J. Karlsson </strong>is a linguist who has spent his time post university split between teaching and researching for his forthcoming (yet to be named) podcast which will cover many aspects of language and linguistics.</p>

<p><strong>Angela Saini </strong>is an acclaimed science journalist, presenter and author, whose work appears in such diverse journals as <em>New Scientist, The Guardian, The Economist, and Wallpaper. </em>Saini will be discussing her latest book; <strong>Inferior: How Science Got Women Wrong and the New Research That&#8217;s Rewriting the Story.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Alex Preston </strong>is a journalist and author, possibly best known for <strong>In Love and War, </strong>which was a highly popular BBC Radio 4&#8217;s Book at Bedtime in 2014. Preston will be discussing his latest work, <strong>As Kingfishers Catch Fire,</strong> which has been described as an <em>&#8216;ornithology, literary anthology &amp; autobiography&#8217;</em></p>

<p>Cally L Taylor is the Sunday Times bestselling author of the psychological thrillers that include <b>The Accident, The Missing </b>and <b>The Lie </b>(Just optioned for TV). Helen Lederer &#8211; comedian, actor and author. <p>Thomas Mogford &#8211; Author known for the <strong>Spike Sanguinetti</strong> series of crime novels. His books have been shortlisted for the <em>2013 CWA New Blood Dagger Award</em> and <em>The Crimefest’s eDunnit award</em> (in 2014 and 2015). His book <strong>&#8220;Sleeping Dogs&#8221;</strong>, was chosen as one of <em>The Guardian‘s</em> ‘Best Holiday Reads’ of 2015. The fifth Spike Sanguinetti novel, <strong>&#8220;A Thousand Cuts&#8221;</strong>, was published  February 2017, and was hailed by <em>The Sunday Times</em> as &#8216;a traditional and thoroughly satisfying crime novel&#8217;.</p>
<p>Orlando Ortega-Medina &#8211; Lawyer and author. Orlando is a US born British-Canadian author of Judeo-Spanish descent via Cuba. He studied English Literature at UCLA and has a Juris Doctor law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. At university he won The National Society of Arts and Letters award for Short Stories. <strong>Jerusalem Ablaze: Stories of Love and Other Obsessions</strong> is his first published collection. Orlando resides in London, where he practices US immigration law.</p>

Helen Lederer &#8211; comedian, actor and author. Her first novel, <strong>Losing it, </strong>has been described as &#8216;A wickedly amusing debut novel&#8217; &#8211; <em>The Telegraph,</em>  &#8216;Funny and sharp and horribly true&#8217; &#8211; <em>The Times</em>, &#8216;A wry and witty rallying call for women of a certain age&#8230;VERDICT: 5/5 &#8216; &#8211; <em>The Express </em>and &#8216;Packed with hilarious scenes that had me laughing out loud, Losing It is an easy to read book that is hard to put down&#8217; &#8211; <em>Huffington Post</em></p>
<p>Thomas Mogford &#8211; Author known for the <strong>Spike Sanguinetti</strong> series of crime novels. His books have been shortlisted for the <em>2013 CWA New Blood Dagger Award</em> and <em>The Crimefest’s eDunnit award</em> (in 2014 and 2015). His book <strong>&#8220;Sleeping Dogs&#8221;</strong>, was chosen as one of <em>The Guardian‘s</em> ‘Best Holiday Reads’ of 2015. The fifth Spike Sanguinetti novel, <strong>&#8220;A Thousand Cuts&#8221;</strong>, was published  February 2017, and was hailed by <em>The Sunday Times</em> as &#8216;a traditional and thoroughly satisfying crime novel&#8217;.</p>
<p>Orlando Ortega-Medina &#8211; Lawyer and author. Orlando is a US born British-Canadian author of Judeo-Spanish descent via Cuba. He studied English Literature at UCLA and has a Juris Doctor law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. At university he won The National Society of Arts and Letters award for Short Stories. <strong>Jerusalem Ablaze: Stories of Love and Other Obsessions</strong> is his first published collection. Orlando resides in London, where he practices US immigration law.</p>

<p>Paul Mayhew-Archer &#8211; radio and TV producer and comedy script writer, whose most notable works include <strong>The Vicar of Dibley, Mrs Brown&#8217;s Boys </strong>and <strong>Miranda. </strong>Paul will be discussing his award winning documentary, <strong>Parkinson&#8217;s: The Funny Side.</strong></p>
<p>Anthony Anaxagorou &#8211; internationally acclaimed and award winning poet, short story writer, and activist whose live performances have been described as &#8216;a near spiritual experience&#8217; Anthony will be discussing <strong>Heterogeneous,</strong> the definitive anthology of his poetry.</p>
