I've noticed the change in adwords too. I recently logged into my account after many months of inactivity. Even long tail keywords/phrases had high bids. It was intimidating to see that.

D3so,
Thanks so much for the comment and kind words! Very much appreciate it as always. I hear you when it come to AdWords difficulties. AdWords is much more competitive than ever before and the people making the big bucks tend to be corporations with larger profit margins. On the affiliate side, I drive more profit at this time from SEO than PPC! That said, I don't want to discount AdWords as a solid vehicle for affiliates. My SEO affiliate success is also a result of my placing 90 percent of my affiliate time on SEO.
All the best,
Ian

B,
Thanks so much for the idea and very kind words, that means a lot to me! I may take your advice and write a long for profit eBook at some point. I'm a little low on time now and also would like to first have a larger following on PPC Ian but can definitely see something like this in the future. :-) I sure would enjoy the opportunity to train more people and make some extra income from the eBook. Thanks again!
All the best,

Ari,
Thanks so much for your comment! I'm a fan of SEO as well, particularly the huge margins (as opposed to thinner profit margins in PPC). Moreover, there are some situations where SEO makes more sense than PPC (and there are situations where PPC makes more sense). I encourage you to keep up your persistence, I'm confident it will pay off in the long run! Thanks again!
Best,
Ian

Awesome post. Persistence is essential to excel at anything.
Adwords has been very frustrating for me and it's been hard to profit.
Everything has to be nearly perfect; keyword selection, well written ad copies, and a quality landing page. If any one of those is off, the campaign probably won't profit.

Glad to seenyou enjoy running, i absolutely hate it because I don't have the proper stamina to run. Though, I'd be able to play an active sport for hours.
