Sad but true. Not sure what else to say but Thank You for staying with us all this time. Thank you for being patient for 7 months! Thank you for supporting all this while.

I can't express enough the joy and the fun that I had doing the podcast. Of course I had the easier end of the bargain, Dzof had to spend a lot of days perfecting the technical and quality aspects of the show. I am extremely proud of the podcast and maybe some time in the future, I can again be part of a worthy project like this again.

Thank you all!
Errolyn

Discussed but Not Finalised

For all you patient fans out there, I promised a decision but.....

Dzof and I have discussed the future of The PPS Review but have not been able to come to a mutual agreement. It was my doing, as I wasn't taking enough care with how close we spoke to the microphone. Sometimes it was quite close (so it was very clear) and sometimes not close at all.

This is why the last podcast took so long. I couldn't normalise the whole podcast because the soft bits stayed soft since the max volume was originally reached by the loud bits. So, I tried increasing the volume for the patchy bits, but they're still patchy, I know. Much better than the original, though.

If anybody smart out there knows how to solve this sort of problem, feel free to tell me. More musicians: Alanis Morrisette, Ben Folds, Boomkat, The Corrs, Fiona Apple, Garbage, Huey Lewis and the News, Jason Lo, Lea Salonga, New Radicals, Paul McCartney, Squeeze, Suzanne Vega, Oasis, Travelling Wilburys, OAG.</itunes:summary><itunes:keywords>malaysia pps project petaling street blog review</itunes:keywords>

PPS Review Ep. 4

This episode: Getting lost in KLCC / KLCC Aquaria / Zoo Negara Night Safari / XiaXue vs Minishorts / Guardian Pharmacy service / TV Smith on Privacy / Karaoke Vending Booths / Gaban Z vs Ultraman / Errolyn rants about bad English.

Download the podcast (15.7 MB) or subscribe to iTunes.

After a rollicking post last weekend with Darth Perfidious (thanks, Perf Daddy), Errolyn is back.

Dzof immediately distracts all by saying "Sexy", and Errolyn agrees.

We start talking about somebody who got lost walking from KLCC to the British Council and completely mampus-up the prepared show order by doing so.

Again, many thanks to all that wrote.

Notices:

Project Petaling Street now has an automated RSS aggregator in beta, so if your blog has RSS, you don't have to manually ping anymore.

All are invited to write a patriotic post on the Merdeka Blogger Project.

There is an invitation to co-blog on the MMR.

PPS Review is now listed on the iTunes podcast directory (link only for those who have iTunes).

We again thank John Ong and play his Penang Hokkien Podcast promo.

Sashi has taken lots of nice pictures at the KLCC Aquaria.

Enlighten went to the Zoo Negara night safari.

The Capybara is the world's largest rodent.

My Doggy Life complains about XiaXue who herself had complained about KL.

Minishorts joins the fray with aplomb, with her own take on things.

Minishorts also has a word or two about service at Guardian Pharmacy.

TV Smith gets serious about privacy.

One of us approves of the Penang Ah Beng Style Karaoke. Probably much later.

In the meantime, here are a few notices that we had intended to include on the podcast, but completely missed due to lack of time/ineptness of program controller/sheer forgetfulness (pick at least one).

These notices are highlighted because they refer to future events or just things we thought PPS listeners should know about:

The Merdeka Book Swap Meet 28 August 2005, 3pm, Starbucks KL Sentral

The Penang Hokkien Podcast

Ideas needed for a talkshow Yvonee will be talking on topics pertaining to her experiences with Neurofibromatosis on 14 September 2005 on NTV7. I have a small problem subscribe this podcast using ITunes. I use this url "http://feeds.feedburner.com/PPSReview" is this correct?
The answer to this question is in two parts:

Yes, http://feeds.feedburner.com/PPSReview is the correct feed to use at the moment to subscribe to the podcast.

To subscribe to this podcast using iTunes either drag its URL into your podcasts library, or type the URL into Subscribe to Podcast under the Advanced menu.

I also tried to get the podcast into the official iTunes directory, but no luck - you need to be a member of the Apple website to do so, and only people with credit cards with mailing addresses from the US, most of Europe, Singapore and Australia can be members.
