Well it is where your playstations GPU or maybe Cpu got over cooled, it happened to me, (try getting the game out of it) I had it but my cousin fixed it, PS3 slims can not get it tho so i am sad that i spent £350 on a ps3!!! And if you cant fix it then you are more likely to be sad and pay money to sony if you want them to fix it.

Yea I had that. Before you try to do anything. You have some options. First thing you could do is make sure your warranty is still valid, if so then go on http://us.playstation.com/ps3/index.htm to have Sony send you a box to put your ps3 and send it back so Sony can fix it for free. Now if your warranty is out, here are your options, pay $ 150 to get it fixed and refurbished or fix it yourself at home. I had fixed it myself multiple times at home with a heat gun melting the GPU and CPU back. Now that means you need to take it apart so I advise you if your not really tech savy and don’t really try it. Still its easy I’m only 15 years old so if i could do it so can you, I followed this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_Ic1_TY-GU —— This fix is temporary for like a couple of months so i stronly suggested you to send it to Sony.

PS3 Slim has a low YLOD (Yellow light of death) rate, as long as you don’t physically abuse it or leave on for long periods. If you DO get it, hopefully your warranty hasn’t expired, because you can get it repaired/replaced for free.
