I sure feel for the people who are having to look for jobs due to our economy. Sometimes I get frustrated with things at my job, but in the end I am very thankful for the job I have and the people I work with. I have heard of people leaving to work in Mexico and philadelphia airport jobs. Hopefully the economy gets better soon and people will start getting jobs that they can depend on. I'm sure many people would agree that this would be a great thing!

Annuity

The economy is not looking so good right now. For many it has become a struggle financially. The stock market has been dropping and many have lost much of their investments. In some cases an annuity may or may not be doing so well either. It's hard to know in what way to invest. We can only hope that the economy improves soon.

Refurbished Laptops

I can remember growing up not even having a computer in the house. If we had homework to do, we would need to go down to the Library or to the school computer lab. Then my parents finally purchased our first computer. It was so nice to have one at home. It's great to know that today you can even find refurbished laptops. It's nice to have more them one computer in case one fails.

Wrinkle Cream

I am young and don't have a need for wrinkle cream yet, however I know my mom uses it and swears by it. She is fairly young as well, but says it helps with the wrinkles she does have and also moisturizes well to. From what I hear, the cheaper wrinkle cream does just as well if not better than the real expensive stuff. Sometimes I think this is true with a lot of products out there. I'm glad she's found something she likes.

Travel Insurance

Until I started traveling more, I never realized how important travel insurance was. Now that I know, I've been looking into cheap travel insurance for my next trip. It's something many people probably don't think about, but in the research I've done online, I've found it to be a must for me. I'm thankful for the Internet, as this has made my search easier. I have it narrowed down and will hopefully be making a decision very soon. I need to get it done before I head out on vacation.

New Vehicle

My dad had wanted a truck for the longest time. A few years back he finally ended up getting one. He liked having it, but found that he didn't get as much use out of it as he thought he would, even with the truck accessories he got for it. He and my mom ended up deciding it would be better for them to sell the truck and buy a second SUV. Our family is growing with grand kids and they wanted something that would make it easier to haul more people when everyone was together. I think so far they're really happy with their decision...I'm glad.

Christmas

This is the first winter I will be in my new place. I was in a little apartment last year. I love that I have a gas fireplace...it's already been in use sad to say. It's chilly here. I'm looking forward to Christmas especially. I plan to hang some lights outside and probably will put up my artificial christmas tree. It's not much, but it helps get me in the Christmas spirit and will look nice in my living room. I may need helping doing it though, as I'm not the greatest Christmas tree decorator. I'll have to post pics once it's up.

Healthier Lifestyle

I have started to eat better and exercise a bit more and have found that I'm losing weight now. It feels good to be doing things naturally rather than just using diet pills or other things found online. I think technology is great, don't get me wrong. I love that I can learn about new things, like diets and products, right from the comfort of my own home, but I don't like how much there is to go through. I think I'm going to keep trying this for now and see how it goes. Hopefully I can continue doing well with my new healthier lifestyle and continue to lose weight.

The things you can find out online these days is just amazing. What did people do without the Internet?? Lately for instance, I have been doing a little research about who to invest with. Now that I have a great job and am living on my own it's something I really want to do. I am quite impressed with Monex Deposit Company and the fact that they've not only been around a long time, but are America's gold, silver and precious metals investment leader. They will allow for me to purchase silver, gold and other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or for convenient storage at a bank. I'm definitely going to consider this.

If you've never checked out 1saleaday.com you definitely should! I was able to get this super tiny little Bluetooth headset on there for just $4.99! That is a deal if you ask me...wow!! It's a Jabra which is a good brand and it ear hook snaps off if you would rather just use it in your ear. I really like it and it seems to work great too! I saw today that they had a knife set for $4.99...crazy how cheap they sell stuff. No wonder they sell out fast!

Bathroom Lighting

I recently updated my bathroom lighting and love it! It's so neat how even the smallest changes can make such a big difference. I just love it. I never really realized the difference a light fixture or a little paint can make until I moved into my own place. It's a wonderful way to add value to your home and modernize it a bit. I have a few other things I'd like to do to my place, but after that hopefully will be done for a little bit. I would like to stop working on it and just enjoy it for a time.

I'm still in the process of updating my place, and currently am looking for tile flooring for my kitchen. I've just been browsing here and there online so far...but soon I'd really like to get serious about it and make a change. The Linoleum just isn't doing it anymore. I don't feel there are a lot of things left to do in my place, but this is a big one. At least my kitchen isn't too big, so I don't think it would be very expensive. We'll have to see.

Make Money As A SAHM

There are many ways to make money as a stay at home mom. I have a sister who is adiment about finding ways to make a little extra money while she stays home with my niece and so far she's founding many ways. I think one of her favorite ways is to use a barcode scanner to scan groceries. When she does, she gets points on a card which she can use as money. I don't know a whole lot about it, but it sounds really neat. I'm glad she's found so many avenues to make money. Technology is a wonderful thing!

Vacation

Last year I took a trip to Mexico with for my job. I actually enjoyed going seeing how it was the middle of winter. I am hoping I'll be able to go this winter too. Even if it was a medical travel Mexico trip...it would still be worth it. It was nice to experience a place I had never been before, as well as get out of the bitter cold weather we were having here in the midwest. I guess we'll have to wait and see if I'm able to go on another one...until then, I can only hope!

Winter and Exercise

Why does winter have to last so long in Iowa? I would LOVE to get out there and start working out again, but just as I find myself having more free time, it's time to pack on the winter gear and hurry from one place to another. Iowa Winters aren't for working out outdoors, and that's why I find is best for me. I am looking into diet pills...but so far there is nothing I've found that seems right for me. I'm going to keep looking, and may even start going to the gym more...we'll see.

Ordering Online

I don't know about you, but I like shopping online. It's easy and convenient. The only thing I don't like is waiting for my item. That's the one downfall to online shopping. If you go in the store, it might take you having to drive to get there, or fight the crowds...but at least you get to bring it home with you the same day usually. I have been ordering a few things online recently and found that many of them say they are still in the order fulfillment center. I'm trying to patient, but hopefully I will not have to wait much longer!

Soon I will be selling my Mac to my sister. She uses her laptop a lot, but it's not the best quality...so we decided that I'd sell her mine and get a new one. I was hoping to have it to her by now...but some things have come up putting a hold on things for a while. I'm hoping soon though, as both she and I are looking forward to getting our new computers! I guess it's a good thing though...I still am not positive which Mac I'm getting next. Hmmm...decisions, decisions.

Moving

My sister and her husband would LOVE to sell their home and move closer to his job. So far they have not had any luck, but it hasn't stopped them from looking at houses. I think that's good...they need to see what's out there and be ready for when the time comes to move. I told them they could even look into buying a manufactured home or something if it's something they could afford. I guess we'll have to see what they end up doing, but they seemed to think that would be a good idea. Couldn't hurt anyways. Hopefully they find something soon and are able to sell the one they're living in now.

Acne Treatment Ads

I feel like I can't browse the internet anymore without seeing ads pop up for acne treatments of some sort. It seems there are so many out there for people to choose from...how does one make a decision? I'm having a hard enough time making decisions on diet pills...I can't imagine making one with acne treatment. It's interesting to see all of the options out there. I guess it's great for those who are looking to find something that will work for them.

The Internet can be used for just about anything. Sometimes I think back and wonder how we every made it without the convenience of this technology that we now so readily have available to us. I can't tell you how many times I've depended on the Internet to get things done...pay last minute bills, find a Plano cosmetic dentist....even look for cars or computers. It's wonderful! I may complain sometimes about the Internet speed, the sites out there, etc...but overall I'm very thankful for the technology we have!

Creating Games For iPhone

I've been working hard on creating some really great games for iPhone. So far I've submitted two and they seem to be a big hit. I'm enjoying this game think I could do it for a long time. I have so many ideas and plan on putting them into action over the coming months. I'm excited to see where this little venture is going. I will share these games with you once I get them up and running. I love design and love gaming...so this is the perfect hobby/side job for me.

Searching Health Insurance

I know I've said this before, but Insurance is SO expensive. I was just looking at my health insurance for instance, and can't believe how much I am paying a month. I am happy to have it, but would love to look and find some cheap health insurance with the same great coverage...is there even such a thing?! I may be in "dream world", but I think it would be fantastic to save money on the health insurance I have now. We'll see if I can find anything. I'm sure there's something out there, probably online, that would work well for me. We'll have to see.

Exercise Equipment online

I find that it's really hard to get motivated to go to the gym as much as I would like. My sister said she has the same problem. They went and bought a very nice elliptical which she says she uses a lot! I think I would use something like that if it was in my home and available to me 24/7. I have been doing some searching online for ellipticals and so far have not come across any fantastic sales. I will keep looking though, as I really think this would help me develop a better exercise routine. I know it has worked for others, so I'm sure it would for me.

Slow Internet

It frustrates me SO much when my Internet runs slowly. I am having a hard time with that this weekend and have been unable to get much of my work done. Isn't it crazy how 10 years ago many people didn't rely much on the Internet, but now we don't know what we'd do without it?! That's how I was this weekend. I guess I'm happy it was at least working, just now well. Hopefully it speeds up soon...I'm not sure what the problem is?!
