Etter fjorårets forsmedelige nederlag i bunnen av Trengereidbakken lurte jeg litt på om jeg skulle prøve enda en gang å sykle til Voss. Jeg hadde jo allerede bevist at jeg kan klare det året før, så hvorfor pine seg atter en gang? Tvilen varte ikke mer enn fem minutter, men likevel, den var der.

Jeg prøvde å gå gjennom hva som hadde gått galt med dette rittet.

De to foregående år har det vært "klassisk" trening, med langturer som den grunnleggende treningsformen. Ulempen med dette er jo at det tar mye tid.

I år kjøpte jeg meg en bok som lover toppform og rekorder etter bare 8 ukers trening og på bare 6 timer i uken. Jeg tar det med en klype salt, men jeg skal ærlig si at etter 5 ukes trening merkes det

I år starter jeg i tidligstartene kl 05:05 og vil bruke den tiden jeg trenger for å nå Voss. Bare kjøre mitt eget løp som jeg gjorde første året. Jeg har fulgt et helt annet treningsprogram med masse(!!!) intervalltrening og lengste tur blir vel en 2,5 times langkjøring. Vi får se om det er effektivt eller ikke. Føler meg sikker på at jeg skal nå Voss uansett.

Det var meldt fint vær og alt skulle ligge til rette for en god treningtur her i Nordfjord. Og det ble det da også. Jeg la ut på en tur jeg hadde syklet før. Fra heimen til Torheim og tilbake. Dette er ca 55 km og en grei distanse for en lørdag-morra-sykkeltur. På en innskytelse tok jeg med meg fire små tuber med gel da jeg var på vei

Alt lå til rette for at det skulle bli en fin tur, men ting ville ikke stemme. Jeg kom i et felt som var altfor raskt. Tror vi holdt en snitthastighet på 31-32 km/t fram til Arna. Resultatet ble at jeg sprengte meg altfor tidlig. Ved osterøybroen var det slutt. Hadde like vondt i kroppen som etter 14 mil (og 7 timer) i fjor, så jeg

Prøvde de nye skoene også, virker veldig bra dette! Ikke minst var det en nytelse å sykle med racer på asfalt! mmmmm!Det ble bare en kort, kort tur (10 km).

Jeg skulle egentlig trene 2,5 timer, men det ble bare en. I løpet av økten ble jeg mer og mer kvalm så jeg avbrøt. Etter det har jeg ikke trent. Jeg har trent innendørs hele uken og er i ferd med å miste forstanden, men enda klarer jeg meg. Prøvde meg med en holdkroppenigang økt på onsdag og da torsdag kom var det enkelt å fortsette der jeg slapp på tirsdag. Holder pulsen nede og snittfarten øker faktisk litt etterhvert som ukene går! Hver fredag er det intervalltrening og der begynner jeg å finne rett intensitet nå tror jeg. Ser ikke mannen med ljåen før i siste intervall nå :)Men...sist onsdag og dagens trening har vært fullstendig fiasko. Pulsen raser avsted mens jeg prøver å holde den nede.

I år har jeg sørget for at den unnskyldningen ikke er gyldig lengre. Var på Sykkelsenteret og kjøpte meg lyktesett til sykkelen. Gikk litt lettere å holde tempoet denne gangen og holdt følge litt lengre, så det er framgang :) Jeg har enda et stykke igjen før formen er den samme som rett før Bergen-Voss kjenner jeg, men det kommer seg fort!Jeg øyner et ørlite håp om at jeg kanskje muligens får syklet to timers økten på søndag ute på ordentlig sykkel og ikke inne på SATS. Lene gjorde et comeback på SATS og vi varmet opp separat (jeg spant selvfølgelig, og hun gikk på mølla). Tok vår vanlige magerutine med 4-5 øvelser først siden vi skjeldent gidder å gjøre den etter alt annet.Men så kom problemet. Jeg skal trene opp max styrke i beina, men maskinen går bare til 190 kilo! Det skulle være en rolig økt dette og, men jeg har gang etter gang hengt meg opp i speedometeret og prøver å holde hastigheten istedet for en lav nok puls. Dagens Reodor Felgen løsning: Ducktape! Selvfølgelig... Tapet bare over displayet og syklet avgårde. Nå får jeg logget kilometrene og henger meg ikke opp i hastigheten. Og snittpulsen endte på 68%.

Antall timer per år ble valgt oppsettet per uke for 400 treningstimer pr år ble satt opp. Plutselig slo det meg at dette skulle jeg jo gjort i går! Klokken er nå 18:30 og jeg har en 1,5 timers økt i dag!Jeg fikk på meg treningstøyet og syklet ned til SATS.

Skulle egentlig vente til begynnelsen av Oktober, men jeg holder ikke ut lengre :)I år har jeg heldigvis litt erfaring om hva som virker for meg, så det blir mye langturer i vinter og når det våres intervalltrening og litt på klatring. SATS spinning utgår stort sett med høye kneløft (bortsett fra langkjøring og intervall) og rulla mi tas inn i varmen

Sprint betyr 750 meter svømming, 20 km på sykkel og 5 km løping. Svømmingen har jeg ingen problemer med, må bare komme i litt svømmeform + få litt teknikk. Dette her jeg kjøpt en bok om. Total Immersion heter den. Har alltid likt meg i vannet, så ingen bekymringer der egentlig. Og syklingen? 20 km er slikt jeg gjør unna før
