On July 5, 2012, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett signed House Bill 1720 (Printer&#39;s No. 2589) -- commonly (and comically) referenced as the &quot;Granny Snatching bill&quot; -- into state law as Act 108 of 2012, to take effect in 60 days.
