We currently do not have an easy way to import from another CMS
because of the different taxonomies of each. The trick would be to
have the distinct `publish_date` in WordPress created as issues in
PacerCMS. Otherwise everything that did manage to get into the
`cm_articles` table would end up with the same issue date assigned.

You did a very good job.

I am thinking of moving my University's Society Magazine on PacerCMS
and i am wondering if there is an easy way to import from the
wordpress site.

1. The system at .../siteadmin/index.php only allows Preview, Post Delete
for online submissions such as Write a Letters, Submit Articles, etc.

After browsing through your site, I did not encounter any SQL errors. This
occasionally will happen if you have the "Next" issue set to the same date

I'm in the same boat as Stephen. I've taken on a freelance technical
writing gig and I'm finishing up another freelance metadata project.
Honestly, I didn't expect these 2 to collide in this way, so I'm off
of the radar for a little while. I'm sorry -- I really do want to
contribute but I just can't do much until mid/December.

Seth,
I did a bit of documenting when I created this implementation of the
Smarty template engine. From a public design side, you really need to
bring together an understanding of how Smarty works and what resources
the PHP scripts make available to Smarty for rendering. It is broken
down by which PHP script is being called.

I don't mean to nag, but I'm really not able to contribute anything
toward this goal and I can't user Pacer until we get there. Do you
think (and I'm not speaking to just Robin here) that we're a month
away? A year? Three years?

Not sure if anyone is notified regarding changes to the welcome
message for the pacercms developers group, but the word
"automatically" was misspelled. It's been fixed. ;-D No other changes
were made.
