										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Pinewood Derby Review:</p>
<p>We have received good feedback from parents and the 2010 Derby appears to be a success.  Discussed were shifts for leaders next year, pros and cons of having the Derby at the Library vs. Church,  rules will be posted on the pack website next year, and cars are to be released next year at the pack meeting as normal, with unclaimed cars being given to Den leaders to distribute.</p>
<p>Blue and Gold Banquet 2010:</p>
<p>Will start at 4:30 pm at the church.  $5.00 per immediate family, $2.00 per additional guest.   Menu consists of a carving station with Roast Pork Loin and Prime Rib.  Also served will be mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, salad, rolls.  Desert will consist of snow cones and sheet cake.  Drinks provided are tea, coffee, Kool-Aid, and water.  Volunteers are still needed for serving cake and serving drinks.  4 &#8211; 5 volunteers would cover it.  Anyone willing to stay after the banquet and assist with clean-up will be appreciated.  The agenda will be as follows:  4:30 pm are the start and flag ceremony led by the boy scouts.  4:30 pm &#8211; 5:00 pm are announcements and a presentation about twilight camp.  5:00 pm &#8211; 5:30pm is when dinner is served and the silent cake auction takes place.  5:30 pm will be the start of the awards ceremony for Dens and Arrow of Light presentation, followed by cake auction winners and cross over ceremony for Weblos.  6:30 pm will be the closing ceremony led by the boy scouts and the dismissal. </p>
<p>March Pack Meeting: </p>
<p> Theme is Take Flight.  Den 2 will have set up and clean up.  Den 13 will be in charge of the flag ceremony.  Den 10 will be conducting the games.  There may be a presentation by the Young Eagles or a model building station. </p>
<p>Also discussed was a possible pack outing to Wright Patterson Airforce Base on March 13th.  Uniforms are encouraged. </p>
<p>Spring Campout:</p>
<p>We are looking at going to Potters Ranch, Cub World or back to Camp Michaels.  Planning for the campout will be at next months parent planning meeting.</p>

<p>Misc. items discussed:</p>
<p>Crossover on the Purple People Bridge:  $6.00 per weblos that is crossing over this year, that includes the price of a patch.</p>
<p>Cub Cabin Fever Fest at Cub World will be on March 6/7.  Price is $7.00 that included the patch.</p>
<p>Pack property is to be inventoried and ideas for future storage of items were discussed.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello all, meeting was from 7:00 pm &#8211; 8:30 pm at the Independence Senior Center.  The following topics were covered.</p>
<p>A) October Pack meeting:  October 27th &#8211; theme is Jungle Safari.  It should also be noted this is Rick&#8217;s day to visit the dentist.  Den 6 has setup and clean up &#8211; they need to show up early to setup.  Den 11 has flag raising.  Den 10 has the fun of presenting the game, which has something to do with lizards?  Den 2 will entertain all attending with run ons.  There will also be advancement for those so deserving and an update on popcorn status and collection.</p>
<p>B) November Pack meeting:  November 24th &#8211; Theme is Cub Scout Salute.  Den 13 has set up and clean up.  Den 2 has flag raising.  Den 6 has either game or run ons depending on time.  The main events will be popcorn awards and (hopefully) a presentation by Kenton County Police K-9 unit.</p>
<p>C) Charter Organization meeting with Cubmaster.  It was described as a good meeting with all being happy.  Church is pleased with what we are doing and how we are taking care of the facilities we are using.  It was discussed that we can put in locked cabinets in the basement.  They also offered to give us part of the shed or allow us to get materials for another and they would get the work done on it.  This turned into a short detour that it would make a good Eagle Project.  Blue and Gold banquet had been scheduled for Feb.  21st.  They also want to schedule another scout sunday.  We determined sometime in Feb. would be appropriate.</p>
<p>D) Charter information:  Den Leaders need to go through lists of active scouts and lists of paid scouts for the charter by next week.  Boys live is not being delivered due to a glitch with the charter and will be looked into.</p>
<p>E) Pack Leadership.  Den 2 will possibly be getting a den chief to help. After an unanimous vote, Robert Griffin was voted in as next years Pack committee Chairman.  Congrats to Robert.  Make us all proud or at least not regretful.</p>
<p> F) Family Camp Out:  WOW 91 people showed up.  All feedback so far indicates it went very well.  Pizza pockets worked out well for the huge number of people we had.  Discussed was if we have enough equipment to support other large size outings, especially if we are in tents.</p>
<p>G) Popcorn update:  We got $6,500.00 worth of popcorn for show and sells.  Our goal is still $12,000.00.  Each den is to start a ledger for the donations each den gets while selling.  It was also noted that any chocolate we don&#8217;t sell we have to eat and it will cause tummy aches if eaten by one person.</p>
<p>H) Finance:  We have $2,692.40 in our pack treasury.  $1,229.00 was deposited for dues.  $481.00 was deposited for popcorn sales.  $210.00 was deposited by the bank for an apparent Monopoly style bank error in your favor.  We did receive on returned check on a popcorn sale for $14.00.</p>
<p>I) Training:  Meeting turned into pure chaos at this time.  It was discovered we need Baloo outdoor trainers as Barb is our only one.  It is a mandatory requirement to be able to book any BSA campsites.  Anyone interested needs to get with the Pack Trainer (Lyle). </p>
<p>J)  Pinewood Derby:  Al Coggins is this years chairman.  The library still needs to be booked online. </p>
<p>K) Friends of Scouting will be blessing us with their presence in Dec.  It will be asked that the new representative Dustin be one that attends.</p>
<p>L)  Tickets for pack meetings:  1 will be given for attending.  1 will be given for wearing proper uniform.  1 will be give for bringing in a donation.  Canned goods are not needed this year.</p>
<p>M) Other fund raisers?  Kroger Cards were shot down in flames.  Aluminum can collection lasted longer and was tabled until next meeting.  Please bring any ideas for other possible fund raising to the next meeting on November 19 at the Independence Senior Center at 7:00 pm.</p>
