The negotiations could not identify a profitable solution for the continuation of the sawmill operations from an overall perspective, and Metsäliitto has made a decision to close down the mill, which has been showing a loss.

The packaging is a robust plastic pot that has been thermoformed at RPC Bebo Nederland in a layered construction combining polypropylene (PP) and ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) polymers. It incorporates an oxygen scavenger which is used to capture oxygen within the barrier layer of the sealed pack before it reaches the food.
