It has been quite an off season, since the club that I was hoping to join feel thru, I’ve been debating if I wanted to stay with the club I’ve been with since 2009 or do I go back to the creek or do I just coach this season?

After emailing a few teams that I know, it looks like I have found a new team to paddle with and hopefully for the next couple of seasons.

Now I just can’t wait for the season to start!

We weren’t pleased, when we got to the boat and noticed that it wasn’t covered correctly when it was last used. There was at least 2 gallons of water in the boat and ice that was 3 inches thick that we had to deal with. :angry:

It felt great to be back on the water, I can’t wait until the 2013 paddling season to officially starts.

Since I had the day off from work I spent most of the morning at the gym and then came home and started baking as three of my friends requested some of my baking for their work Halloween parties (they do not bake), so I made them all candy corn colouring cupcakes.

Once I came home and finished putting up the last few of my halloween decorations, that I didn’t want out in the rain until the day of.


Even with the rain that was down pouring that night, we had 110 trick or treaters.

I had five different ideas of what I wanted to be but due to the weather and the whole was I going be able to paddle in the costume I kept on changing my mind, in the end I went as a Vancouver runner (Since Vancouver is known for its yoga gear I wore lululemon clothing head to toe).
