Birdwatching

Enjoyed my usual morning up our deck for some sunlight while watching this little scaly-breasted munias. And they're cute, just clinging on a stem near the grass area in front of our house.

The chapel itself is already stunning, especially before the break of morning when the sunlight is about to hit. There's more in this place that's breath-taking

Just at the side of this church is this view. It was like a painting, very majestic. The shades from the trees where we're standing keeps us cool makes me really wanna lay down and sleep on the grass

Thank you Lord for the continuous blessings. After a confirmed meeting this morning for a Caleruega wedding. Afternoon we headed to Fernbrook Gardens for another possible wedding for May.

And I trust the Lord that this is just the beginning. :) More lessons on the way and more blessings coming. :)

Growing up

I was playing with my only niece last Sunday, she ran after me carrying a toy crocodile, I taught it was a lizard, I was really freaking out. lol! I was so tired and sleepy from the all night party, but so glad that my brother took her to our parents house. I missed her so much. Time flies so fast, my niece is already 9 years old, and recently saw my god daughter graduated from elementary. Kids these days are growing so fast. Can't believe she's in grade school now.

My sister-in-law's says tutoring Max is quite difficult because of the lessons today are advance unlike during our time and that she ask too many questions and reasoning so much. The training these days in schools are so different, even the tutorials for are available anywhere. I mean, look at how they play the computer, like they are the ones who will have to teach us how to use it. All of these are part of innovation of technology and the growth of education. The funny thing is one time, she was bargaining with her mom, to finish one homework, in exchange for going to the mall in the afternoon with her grandfather (my dad) just to play in the kiddie rides. Great huh! Even was afraid to dare ask when I was young.

11years 5months 15 days

I stayed with Uratex.

It was hard to make the decision, but I feel that I need to have some changes.

There are o many things I still wanted to do. :)

And for those years I've stayed, I'll use it as one of my foundations to succeed.

I don't think anyone can fool me, or keep something from me inside out office. It's been my second home. I know when something's going on... like this surprise my colleagues planned. I warned them earlier February not to throw a party for I don't want them using their money for my sake. Joked that I will put them in a sack and let the ants bite their asses. lolz.

Though I know what was happening all along, I went to the production area - to get 3 single mattress size ldpe plastic (for me to use in shredding old files)... instead told that I will use it to put Ton and Ladz... if I'm not mistaken with my haunch... and needed a spare for Mark, whom I suspected was working with them >:D

Goodness!!! They bought a lot of food :/

And this was the only photo I manage to get, while I mange myself not to be emotional... :D

This was the best one!!!.

Back at the beginning

Last day from work tomorrow seems taking like forever. And at the same time, I can't believe that it's almost over, my 11years, 5 months and 15 days of service as a Junior to Senior artist. I took a great leap a few months back, having a major realization in life, turning a new chapter in my career. Don't get me wrong, I love my work as a creative, it's just so many things I wanted to do, design something else aside from brochures, banners and fabric. Took me a lot of time thinking and weighing. Took a lot of courage when I filed for resignation. Prepared for whatever blow I might get for the more than one month notice. and despite all of these, what's important was that I made the move - I did something to fulfill my dreams - not just sit and dream of it.

I've always wondered, will I ever be like Tim Sykes, whom made his name with the career he has now. I just have a simple but bizarre dream of being at least one of the top chosen creative designer. I mean, after being employ, it's just back to start, work my way up. Someday, with perseverance and hard work, I'll be up there.

Events. One thing I'm sure that I will take part on people's lives starting April as I take new challenges for a new venture. For any social and corporate events, I think me and my partner are prep up since we've been working for 6 years. And we'll be busier than ever during our busy days being employed. Who wouldn't love creating designs or dressing up an event? The funny thing is that we just started doing this for friends and colleagues. Eventually came to our realization the possibilities of creating a real group, that will cater the needs of building a memorable unique event for them.

Like a wedding, we take time to prepare, carefully choose every single detail, scout for the loveliest places for wedding destinations. Such a perfect place for weddings like Australia corporate events. The place itself is so divine. I'm pretty sure it's easy to decorate when the place is already so lovely. We don't just pick, we choose the best. That's where we wanted to step in, help to create and customize and meet the expectation. And that's where we wanted to step in. Help couples choose, provide them with fresh flowers, give them alternatives like including balloons. Making the events memorable and worth keeping. We only live once, we have to make everyday count.

Holiday Break

December 26, 2012... and I'm back at a familiar place.... our flight might have been 5 hours delayed. I still looked forward to a restful week away from work. I wasn't able to go up Lingnon Hill, it's been raining for the first 2 days since we arrived and stayed home. Got a lot of sleep :) and eat :) What this vacation gave me... got stuck watching My Binondo Girl. Now I know why my boss is all over the guy, Xian Lim, he's so cute, perfect match for Kim Chiu. Ate my fave, Bicol express, snooze at 11am, 3pm, rumble with the kids, stared at Mayon Volcano every time it shows up :)

Computer graphic design will always be my number one, but sometimes getting crafty gives me a little break from the usual things that I do. It never really came to me that I've been doing this back in my college, just lately when having some realizations :D
