Another reason why I was hooked up with violet. :)
Abbie my friend's niece will be celebrating her 1st birthday themed with a fairy. These are the personalized invites we did, made the fairy and the tree pop from the flat invites and added some stick on jewels. As today will the celebration date, I will be a fairy slave the whole day :) Hope my wings are ready. We'll be decorating the venue with pinks and violets and butterflies.

My poor blog, it's been ages... anyway, what am I up to these days besides the uncanny weather messing with my mood. Had this misalette and wine card layout for an old friend for quiet sometimes. Her fairy theme wedding made me love violets, purples, lavenders and lilacs (name all shades of violet)

Loving these colors. These shots I took from my vacation last August in Bicol. Wanting to see more colors than the dark, muddy brown that the typhoon Ondoy left. Makes me feel sad.

I have been craving for this since the first time I've read it on Chuvaness ' blog. Finally last night with hubby and Yheng, we dined around 8pm Pepper Lunch (ペッパーランチ Peppaa-ranchi) at ATC while making our usual malling on weekends. It's delicious, but can't take the butter, it's just too much siguro for me. I love the garlic soy sauce, there 2: honey brown sauce (Amakuchi) or garlic soy sauce (Karakuchi) :) I love the Caesar salad too hehe.

It's sort you're the one cooking it, because you need to mix the food while the plate is still hot and sizzling

Guess I've been neglecting my blog for quite sometime now. I've been concentrating on work lately since "Ber" months was just weeks away. And now "Ber" month starts, I hoped for a lesser workload towards the end of 2009 and plan early for 2010.

And before September hit, I was able to take some time off (a little time out from work) and went to hubby's hometown in Bicol. It was more of an adventure and seeing Mayon again after 3 years and seeing all sides of Mayon volcano's pretty interesting. Went to Tiwi to Ligao, then Sorsogon during our stay.

Our trip to Kawa-kawa Hill in Ligao was more like a continuation of our hiking exercises (LOL!) in Lingnon Hill. You will find the Stations of the Cross as you go up, it's breathtaking when you get to the top. It looks like a wok, that's why it's called Kawa, a "kawali" (a local term)

Glad that I was able to take more photos for my collection. then our last stay we went to Sorsogon for a swim, where a long stretch of beach with fine sand is situated (Rizal Beach Resort Gubat, Sorsogon). And found some bubbler crabs(?), not some a lot actually. Not sure though, just the dip n dots like the create.

Went to MOA to meet my best friends Joan and Sinia (- Mahsa, she lives in Cali). Matt and my Darcy() came with Sinia. Catching up with out little sweet nothings and endless chikahan about our plans. Poor Bessy (Joan) came all the from her graveyard shift work, a little sleep. Miss them so much.
Miss Mahsa a lot! :(
Treated them for lunch at Burgoo and went shopping and coffee afterward.

Thank you to all those who greeted, texted me exactly at 12midnight, if that does count, though I was out of my mother's womb about 6:00 am in the morning hehe. By 5am I found myself texting family and old friends, text came in continuously until 9am by the office. Kuya Jojo cooked our fave buffalo wings for lunch and funny that we almost gave everyone who came in. This afternoon, my officemates surpirsed me with a cake, pancit and pichipichi.(sobrang busog) So thank you again, to Lord for another year older. Thank you for giving me a family whose love and support is so endless, a husband who's so kulit. Best friends Ching, Ann and Mahsa, especially Mahsa who's at the other side of the world, who took effort to ym me even for a short while just to greet me. Old classmates, Ardyth- she never forgets. =) My fellow w@wies, and old co-workers. Thank you. My officemates, who surprised me this afternoon! Reina, Mae, Mark, kuya Eric and my Iyang. Hats off to all of you. Salamat! Salamat sa Cake at food , lalo na sa higanteng birthday card. hehe

My co-artist is sooooo loving these 2 stuff toys of Pooh and Tigger inside the conference room of our Disney Licensee. And actually wanted to take them home. it's so fluffy! Funny, today I've learned that Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) has another name, Briar Rose and Mickey's birthday is November 18, 1928. Geez after 9 years of working on our Disney products, I've never thought of that..... well in fairness I've handled Winnie the Pooh =) heheh

Everyday is a learning day.

Photoshoot

I used a mood board for our photoshoot last wednesday with Northlight with photographer Mike Cheung. Here I'm sharing one a yellow and green combo, all my base color is chocolate brown & beige. The wall I tried retouching to a bright yellow using photoshop, it was beige before. I collected the fabrics that I can use to coordinate with the fabric of the mattress we're going to shoot and then cut cut cut from magazine some nice accessories. Went for shopping for 2 weekends just to complete 4 layouts

Yep we're inside the studio, making the place loaded with our props. We were able to finish 6 layouts and ended up by 8pm. Got home 10 (2hrs traffic at the south) too bad, it's really tiring but we had fun because Mike's people were all in "happy mood" always smiling and making fun even though at work.

I was anxiously waiting for this phone to come out in a nearby store in our area. I only see prototypes the past few weeks. Originally, I wanted the Env2, which obviously I saw from Blair(GG) and learned that it's a Verizon(not available in Phil). What's more to this KT610, it's a symbian, S60. For now, still hearning how to set up email =)

Our trip last Sunday to Laiya Batangas was yet another day full of fun with family and friends. On my end, I didn't swim, instead I kept myself busy by taking some photos and took advantage of the peeking sun (it has been raining here for like ages)Yeah, it is summer.

I was thinking of getting a web hosting for my existing domain name. I just wanted include more photos and to be able to maximize it and create my own web design and still to be able to keep my existing blog.

So I;m just browsing for now and studying which would be the best fit for what I need among the different web hosting. I’m looking for one which is easy to use, no fuss and no so many buttons to click. Of course cheap hosting with the best feature will do, so I really do have to check each one. And if this is the case, I probably recommend it to my old instructor, which is my godfather by the way, who’s asking for my help in building his photography and events coordination services website. For him, probably a good web hosting that has unlimited disk space for the photos

I actually couldn’t wait I’m pretty excited in redesigning my page, I’m just weighing all of my options, don’t want to rush and blame myself for rushing and not getting the best one in the end. Though I have already started the design, ready if ever, hehe, more tweaking on the codes, so by the time I got a web hosting, it’ll be easier to transfer.

Rush Wedding

YES, a 3-week preparation, Yheng & I are running around like mad. Finishing all the hand-made invites, personalized, for her older bro whose getting married TOMORROW.Responsibilities were divided. And for us these are our tasks:

1. Invites - with maps
2. Souvenirs - 350ml red wines with personalized tag &
3. Sponsors Gifts - 750ml red wines
4. Photographer - that would be me (power hug na lang)
5. Flowers - Yheng will take them to tita Beth, our neighbor who has a place in Dangwa
6. Signature Board - idea - buy frame & masters illustration board, I just bring a selphy to print the pics... no idea how to do it, without the groom and bride seeing each other before the wedding.

White board, covered with cheese cloth (katsa) to make look like torned added a green sort of belt made of board and locked it with monogram

Disappointed

As soon it hit the stall, I grabbed my copy. But I was a little disappointed. The copy wasn't DTS, useless for the home theater, not wide screen, no subtitle. The quality of the special features on the 2nd disc is better than the movie itself(disc 1). Excited pa naman ako to watch. I just hoped for a better audio & video quality. Hubby's disappointed as well, I'm not even sure what I paid for is worth it. :(

Let the Games Begin...

So it's summer once again and it’s time to hit beach or find summer activities. In our case, the sport fest just started basketball for the men and volleyball for the ladies. It’s this time of the year we were able to play with other departments. It’s actually fun since most the ladies are not professional players and but you could see them play well. My co-officemate Yheng, makes joke of her so-called Power Spike, referring to our secretary who’s on the other team. Reina, our secretary on the other hand, said that Yheng should watch out for her Power Serve. Haha There’s the spirit of the game.

My husband, with the rest of the guys, is onto basketball. All of them playing the best to win every game. I hope we could try other sports next summer, badminton or cheering perhaps? Whether volleyball or basketball, each and every participant are giving their best, for their team and for the spirit of sportsmanship.
