There is a wild satisfaction in the perfect burger, that mouth-watering moment where high-quality ingredients and scrumptious flavours align to hit the spot.

While the burger’s roots may be American, South Africans have been perfecting the art of the "patty and bun" since the 1920s. At Painted Wolf, we take that deliciousness seriously.

One of our founders, Jeremy, isn’t just a conservationist, he’s a trained chef.

Gosh, I can hardly believe that 20 years have passed since we first harvested grapes for Painted Wolf. Each vintage has been different with its own set of challenges, excitement, and success and this vintage was no different. After a relatively dry and mild winter the vines were itching to dust off their winter slumber and burst into life. Early budding is often an indicator of an early harvest, and the 2025-26 growing season is no exception.

While reflecting on Africa Travel Week, with Painted Wolf Wines as the sustainability partner for the fourth consecutive year, I feel my heart swell with pride at the huge amount of ongoing interest from media, safari lodges and companies, and the whole gamut of the travel industry and individuals alike. Huge thanks to Olivia Gradidge, marketing manager for WTM (World Travel Market) Africa and ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) Africa, who gave us such wonderful opportunities, together with her assistant Nkele Mabelebele.
