I can't believe today's the second day of 2012. Oh my, time really flies. Everything happened back in a year time still vivid in mind, they just like...happened yesterday.

I have always wanted to blog, but hardly find a good timing to just sit in and do so.

I thought I could blog on the new year's eve but as usual #failed plan.

I really wanna summarise everything I could remember in year 2011.

I believe it's not too late to get it done, just 3 days late anyway.

Speaking of 2011, I would not say it was a superb year, but it wasn't too bad either. okay, normal is the word.

The Facts 2011

1. Managed to spend a quality of good time w my awesome friends.

2. Learned to cook many dishes on my own. (they are edible okayyy)

3. Travelled to a number of places like:

- Paris

- Amsterdam

- Liverpool

- Manchester

- London

- Lake District

- Edinburgh

- Bristol

- Bath

- Inverness

- Oxford

- Italy

- Iceland

4. Worked w Boots during summer & got the first ever salary.

5. Bought myself the Burberry bag using my own money

6. Learned to live independently in Oban with 0 friend at first.

7. Worked as a waitress for fun and it lasted only for a day.

8. Participated in the fundraising charity event on Red Nose day.

9. Dressed up as a nurse on Halloween's night.

10. Worked w a number of photographers & also make-up artists. These people are coool.

11. Involved in the music video production by Gav livingston.

12. Made a short trip back to M'sia just for my beloved sister's wedding.

13. Had awesome birthday celebration w my good friends.

14. I met more people and made new friends.

15. I signed up gym for a semester.

16. I had fabulous x'mas dinner w my mates & paid 16.50gbp for Hogmanay Street Party, Edinburgh

17. Eventually, I got to know a few friends even better than before and we made good friends.

18. I learned to set priorities in life.

19. Received Ipad from my parents:)

20. Managed to change my blog skin & header.

21. Dyed my hair to dark red. (not obvious tho)

.....bla bla blahhhhhhhhhhh

basically, that's all I can really think of.

2012, a new year, a new beginning, a new hope.

I have listed down a number of new year resolutions as below.

1. to be a better person

2. to be more hardworking and stop procrastinating

3. be determined in term of diet plans?

4. keep in touch w most of my friends. (I really don't want them to become strangers one day lol)

5. work hard and play hard lol

6. to be more tidy

7. spend time w friends in the UK and create memories

8. do not disappear halfway for the conversation via bbm, whatsapp, fb chat or whatsoever

9. treasure every moment w those I care
10. get a new phone? get new bag?

11. to love & be loved.

Some place, some memories.

A lifetime of memories,

A walk down memory lane,

Basket of memories,

I love remembering,

I love creating memories,

They are like keepsakes, always treasured.

Picture perfect memories (that's why I love to snap and people might think that 'This girl is crazy!' )

Today, I'm gonna write down the memories in Oban.

I took this.

It reflects how scenic is the view and how relaxing the days can be.

Whenever I was feeling a lil upset, I walked here.

Just stood anywhere facing the clear water, looked further aimlessly.

It was like a magic, because I will smile unconsciously by just doing that.

And then, walked home happily.

A tour guide eventually becoming a tourist, almost all the time.

This was us exploring Tobermory - the colorful town!

I missed... this chocolate shop.

Love the chocolate fondue & ice cream there.

Oh ya, the waterfront bar.

Literally, very different from the bars in Glasgow, because it's more to a quiet chilling old man's bar, but not too bad kinda like it!

Of course, I missed tht moment when I was too bored in the dull room till I had to do this. Took excessive amount of crazy self vain photos. LOL at myself.

I missed these people & also the rest in Boots store. They are simply awesome.

2 months in Oban, I summarise it with a smile.

I'd say: Indeed a very different summer I've ever had, oh and it creates everlasting memories.

Thank you for the memories, Oban.

Lovely, isn't it? I guess I'll be back soon. For vacation purpose this time! :D

It was rather fun, because my friend paid me a visit.

There's a brief summary of how interesting it was.

Kicked off the day with the Scottish Breakfast. Spot on the black pudding, it tastes pretty good!

Nothing ever beats down my love for Pretzels & Starbucks.

Best combination, ever.

Then, we took subway and shouted 'West-End, here we are'

I heard numerous times about getting good desserts in Three Steps In Heaven.

And like finally, my first time been there.

Trust me, they are amazingly d-licious.

Walked to University of Glasgow since we were just few miles away.

I smell like cookies now, just done baking couple of minutes ago. It was my first time baking cookies, indeed good fun! :D

I always love Famous-Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies, and never did I expect to bake 'em on my own! How Incredible.

Show you some of the photos on the baking steps.

To be honest, it was an easy-peasy baking.

I think the steps are well illustrated by the photo above. (too lazy to write line by line)

Still, I am kind enough to provide you the ingredients formula:

1. 150grams of caster sugar

2. 150grams of brown sugar ( adjusted according to own preference)

3. 250grams of UNSALTED scottish brand butter

4. 2 eggs

5. 4 cups (350g) of all-purpose flour

6. 1 tsp vanilla extract

7. 1 tsp baking soda

8. 1 tsp salt

9. 3 packets of Silverspoon Chocolate Chips

so I brief about the directions.

a. Thoroughly mix everything and lastly add in the chocolate chips.

b. Spread butter/oil onto ungreased foil.

c. Bake at 220degree for 8-12minutes. Cookies are done when they are light in brown.

Twenty First B'day Girls!

Both of 'em just turned Twenty-One *winks!

Okay, so on the night before (around 1130ish), everything went accordingly smooth, except the wee rain.

Managed to get the birthday girls blindfolded and 'Secret place' off we go!

I suggested to throw them a surprise cake-blowing session at this secret place, cause I don't really fancy the idea of having it at the student halls. you know, it's like less fun:P

so yea, the venue was my suggestion, and I named it 'I-city'. why? because I see the trees all lights-up, it somehow reminds me of Icity. so that's how I got the inspiration for the name:)

Had to rush to the place as soon as possible before the shower gets heavier. (fyi, shower= rain)

& we got another bunch of friends waiting over there.

The b'day girls, Tracy & Sookyee got the instructions to hug the tree when we just arrived.

They were like 'omg, what we doing here? what's with the tree?' cuteness!

I'd hafta say that this banner is worth its value for being repeatedly used for the 2nd time.

I made a right choice to get it, haha.

despite the wee rain, we still here, to surprise the girls! :D

This is gonna bring back good memories in the future.

We moved back to the hall as soon as the group photo session ended.

Hello y'all, yours truly is back in Glasgow.

Put the unpacking job aside and here I am, blogging.

I have sorted out the photos of the Italy trip, well not all but just some. Too many to be filtered tbh.

Back to title, okay my response is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, errr 10% only.

It's way impossible to get the whole London explored, and I only got a day.

So yea, we flew from Aeroporti Di Roma ---> London Stansted.

This must be set as the primary photo for this post.

It somehow reflects my thinking: It's just hard to make any judgement. Am afraid standing in the middle of nowhere, getting all lost.

I love traveling in London, the transport ain't a problem at all. The tube services just way too convenient:D

Hello! (waves*)

I know right, it has been quite some time since I last update my blog.

to be honest, I almost forgot about the existence of this blog.

every time I wanna blog, there must be something up. okay, excuses EXCUSES, put the blame on the lazy worms in me, they are growing excessively.

Back to topic, if you follow me on twitter or a friend of mine on fb, you should know that I'm a working lady for now. Well, it's for 8 weeks. Working during the summer is not that bad, wonderful I shall say. The weather is lovely, the only thing that I wanna complain about is the part where I have to live a life on ~~your~~ my own.

I came to this place with a huge pink travel bag, all by myself.

I have no one, not a friend, just nothing.

Full of curiosity & excitement yet I am a little afraid at that moment.

A ton of questions in mind, 'How's working in the pharmacy be like?' 'Will I adapt to it well?' 'How if and if..' and so on.

yes a girl, I'm just an ordinary girl who thinks maybe a little bit over sometimes. Not good I know.

After living here for 5 weeks, I'm able to answer those silly thoughts I had on the first day of arrival.

Well, not too bad I shall say. But still, I miss Glasgow & friends. I really really do.

my biggest fear (loneliness) hits me over and over again. I hate this feeling.

whenever I have my day-off, I try to arrange a trip back to Glasgow.

despite the 2.5 hours bus journey, I don't care because I would be happier if I could go back for shopping or meeting up with the familiar faces.

sometimes, when you go through something, you will only realize how much you actually appreciate a thing.

Okay, Oban is a small lovely town, very peaceful days over here. and, I couldn't deny that the people here are really nice. hehe

Working in the pharmacy is challenging. why? Everyday, you hv to deal with different customer(they have different kind of questions bla blahh), so yea very situation-based, not bad I get to learn something new every single day.

Apart from that, 50% of the customers are tourists and they are all over the world. I met french, german, americans etc etc. I think it will be good if I learn to speak more languages. haha.

enough of all these rubbish talk, in case I just turn you bored. I am sorry.

one thing I am happy about is that....I have got many visitors.

They come for me, yay! okay, I exaggerated.

for vacation I suppose, still, really good to see you people. :)

Few days ago, it was Eileen & Zhi's turn to pay me a visit.

haha. wtf. I say as if it's a routine check to visit Wendy in Oban. LOL

For the first day, we hopped on a 'cruise' to Mull, to be specific, the place called Tobermory.

Forget about the first day, and let's talk about the 2nd day.

I had this beef blade for my lunch. Yums.

A very great day, it was.

Perfectly good for an outing with such a warm sunny day.

I've been living in the Glasgow for like 5 months, in the blink of an eye.

If you question me 'How's living abroad?'

Well, my answer would be a typical ones, just this - great!

Not like I was trying to lie or what, life's good.

but sometimes, as so you know, my days are filled with boredom too.

I could spend a long day by just rotting in the room, I'm serious.

Don't judge me that way, I know, I'm a boring person...

hardly with an expression on the face.

I'm not easy to be 'read', for those strangers.

yet, I'm just too easy to get along, esp with my loved ones.

Get to know me well, so you can judge!

tell me, not to care too much on certain things will make you feel better, isn't it true?

some things came across my mind lately,

etc 'Could anyone please tell me what is the value of true friendship?'

'When we were far apart, you told me 'You miss me' and when you are near to me, you probably just too busy and have no time for me!'

Please don't misuse and mis-express 'I miss you' if you don't actually feel so, cause I take in words easily.

I ever reminded myself not to give a damn to people who don't care for me, but I can't make it, cos my heart is against it, it says' I love them' . Shit, what should I do?

I need a direction, please lead me the way.

Let me stand up high once again, with a simple smile and just confidence, to convince myself that I can do it,

Hello y'all, due to the title, if you are thinking that I am writing an overdue post again,

YOU ARE WRONG!

the event was just 2 days ago!

yeah, it was a late celebration, but indeed a great one!

Yours truly before heading out for the event.

The event was held in the christian centre.

When I reached there, I was like 'Okay, this place is not spacious sumore very stuffy!'

I felt like I got not enough o2 supply (exaggerated much)

Anyhow, the familiar faces made me feel the warmth. :)

and performance by the team. Well done girls!

The foods served were superb, so I conclude that students can be good cooks!

Hellow! Today is CHAP GOH MEH, it signifies the end of CNY'2011. You know what, I haven't received any ang pow till now, (only if the one from my dad & Gala casino been excluded).

Yesh, only 2 of us for the candle light dinner, I think most of the couples next tables thought we are actually Lesbian, oh gawd!

Valentine's day is meant to celebrate with your loved ones, for me, it doesn't necessarily with Boyfie, with parents/ bestie is pretty fine. As long as you enjoy the moment with the one, nothing beats that.

by the way, we were supposed to have double dates with Grace & Eileen, but :(

How do you define Life?

Some interprets it as wonderful, some says it sucks.

Well, everyone has different point of views.

For me, life's been good to me so far. Okay come to think of it, I eat, sleep, play well. I'm really much more luckier if compared to those homeless children.

I know right, but one thing bad about me which I really hate is that I'm sucha demanding person.

I'm not gonna tell you in what aspect, leave it to you, so you observe!

Why are humans so freaking greedy? 'Kan sudah bagi betis nak lagi peha' NO IDEA, this is the nature.

Recently, I have got tonnes of questionnaires in mind.

I don't understand why people can be scary at times, the hidden side: I describe them as timeless bombs, which may explode any time and kill people at any time.

Why humans must be so complicated? Don't you feel tired keeping too much all to yourself? Sometimes, it's good to find someone trusted to share some, trust me you will feel better.

Fakers, don't you feel tired being fake all this while? What's the point, if you don't like someone, why can't you just tell right to his/her face and say I DON'T LIKE YOU lah idiot!

Please don't do that, because sometimes being a straight forward person might harm you.

Beware of people around you, some may be harmful. Don't be naive.

You gotta be ALERT!

oh well, all these are just my random thoughts. I'm trying to act like a pro saying about life.

NAH, I don't even qualified to say that yet, because I know nuts about life.

I'm still on the pathway of learning, gaining experiences etc etc.

Remember,

Life may not be as smooth what you want,

have faith in yourself,

do not afraid to achieve ya dreams and hit the aims in life.

try to make life as interesting as you could,

live life with no regrets, always.

You're a pure LOSER if you give up on yourself & life,

always remember: if you fall once, twice or even more, fret not just get up and fight again - NOT A BIG DEAL!

the exams start on the day after 2mrw, OMG!

The wishing tree

I wish......

( ops sorry not to be revealed here :P)

but what I could tell is I got more than 5 wishes, greedy sial :x

anyway, I just came back from Edinburgh.

The train back from Edinburgh --> Glasgow was a jerk,

the status from DELAYED to extended time delay, and after an hour, it then changed to CANCELED. waddafark

I was real speechless, its just like I waited for nothing for 2 hours.

Thank god, I got good companions to been through all these with me.

and you know what, when I got into the train, I thought everything would be fine and I could start grabbing some sleep.

Pfftttt, I was wrong.

After 10 minutes, all the passengers have been asked to leave the train as the train will be canceled.

I was a bit clueless that time, I didn't really know what should I do, I followed the crowd by just standing at the platform.

and at this time, my phone rang 'Hey, your train has been canceled again!'

I was like 'How do you guys know, I thought you guys left?'

'We are still here, we never leave, we need to make sure your train is departing baru leave'

My heart melts, at that particular moment, I felt loved and cared.

Girls, I heart you all. <3
