Hey all,
I know some of you already know, but I do tend to submit designs to Minted’s design Challenges from time to time. Here is my latest design. I am really excited about this contest because it is a collaboration with West Elm! I LOVE this store. I could spend my entire life in that store and never leave for any reason. I would spend my entire savings and then some in there too. So, maybe…if I am the luckiest person alive I will win this design challenge and you can purchase this poster from West Elm! How cool would that be? I know!! So vote for me. Whenever voting opens that is.

I hate/heart valentines day

So it’s that dreadful time of the year again. I am not a fan of “fake” holidays like Valentines day. I do however have a love affair of cute things, pink or red things and hearts! So I guess I am a little torn when it comes to V-day. I want to share some of the cute items I like that make me want to celebrate Valentines day, even though I tell my husband every year to PLEASE don’t go crazy and get me anything because this day is super lame. These babies debuted at the National Stationery Show in May and they have been steadily increasing in popularity. I could barely keep them in stock this winter, people were stuffing their stockings with these majestic mullets! So I was curious, which Mullet is your favorite? Is it the Classic Mullet? The ever so stylish Mullhawk? Are you drawn to the Granmullet because you miss granny so much? Either way, you don’t have to pick a favorite since all glorious 8 styles come in one pack! Hello there! Well, I say this with every new year, how is it 2013 already? Why does time fly by so fast when we get older? Here’s a new cheerful way to celebrate the passing months. Brighten up your work space or give to dear friend.

2012 Benefit Calendar

Happy New Year to all my blog readers. I wanted to share my most recent collaboration with you. It’s a benefit calendar to help the city of Amsterdam, New York. As many of you may or may not know. I grew up in Gloversville, New York. About 20 minutes from Amsterdam. I lived in Amsterdam for several years and still have many family members who live there. So needless to say, I love this city! I was shocked when I saw the flood damage first hand and wanted to do something to help out….and here it is. It took several months, but I am glad to say that the calendar is finally finished and ready to adorn your wall. This calendar is a photographic collaboration of several Urban Decay images of Amsterdam. All of the proceeds of this calendar will be donated to the Montgomery Chamber 2011 flood relief fund and the Amsterdam Urban Renewal Agency. Please take a look and think about others that are less fortunate than you are. Things can always be worse. It feels awesome to give! Start the New Year off right and buy this calendar HERE!!!
