Coke Studio Season 8 Promo is Out!

The 8th Season of the Coke Studio that is regarded as the one of the best Pakistani music television series is kicking off from August 16 of the running year.

The program focuses on a fusion of the diverse musical influences in Pakistan that mainly includes: classical, folk, qawwali, sufi, bhangra, hip-hop, rock and pop music of various genres, regions and languages to collaborate musically in the live studio recording sessions.

Just after the first launch of the season, Coke Studio has now become an International franchise. Following the success of Coke Studio in Pakistan, it has been launched in India and Middle East by the name of Coke Studio India and Coke Studio Bel 3arabi respectively.

Soch band produces four tracks for Dekh Magar Pyaar Say

Leading Pakistani music band Soch have had their hit track Awari from the soundtrack of the Bollywood film Ek Villain nominated for a prestigious IIFA nomination in category of Best Music Direction. The recognition by IIFA is the fourth such honour for the versatile band, who have been nominated for a Life Ok Screen award, a Brittania Filmfare Award and a GIMA Award in the past. Shiny Toy Guns is proud to recognise this home grown talent for its upcoming romantic comedy Dekh Magar Pyaar Say and have produced four tracks from the feature film’s music.
