I recently started to play this again, because I'm making video longplay for www.longplays.org and must say this game still, kicks ass. Even thou it's old and not so good-looking anymore, in fact now I see how this old games have ''old'' graphic, those never beautiful games are so realistic comparing to this, but nevertheless old games are also great, especially something like tomb raider . Graphic is good for 1997, that was the beginning of playstation era, world was crazy about new gaming console that reads cds, and following the success of Tomb Raider came Tomb Raider , I remember when I first saw commercial for this I was still primary school, that was a long time ago. Anyway away with jabbering, this game is still awesome and entertaining. Main plot is that Lara is looking for a new artifact, this time it's called ''The Dagger of Xian'' from China. It was used by emperor of China to command his army. Legends says that person who pierces his heart with it, is granted with a strength and power of a dragon, that alone is worth finding it, isn't it. In the intro movie we also learn that monks have retrieved back the dagger and placed it back in the catacombs beneath the Great Wall of China. Well our heroine is on the quest to find this remarkable artifact, and of course we have villains also. Evil clan from Venice is also after it. They follow man called Marco Bartoli who is obsessed with dagger and wants to find it at all costs. Lara's travels will take her on the long journey, from Venice where she finds hideout of evil clan to merchant ship wreck 40 fathoms under the sea where she needs to find another artifact called the Seraph that unlocks catacombs beneath monastery in Tibet. In those catacombs is located key that opens Temple of Xian, deep under the Great Wall of China where dagger lies and awaits its new owner. I won't spoil the whole story for you if you haven't played it yet, i deeply recommend that you do, it's an awesome game, and well worth playing. So blow the dust of your playstations and play some good old TR. It has everything, beautiful heroine, plenty of action, great storyline, what more could you ask for.

Airborne employs a nonlinear gameplay style whereby the player can start the game anywhere in the map by directing where they land, as opposed to previous linear FPS games where the start point and direction is already laid out, such as Allied Assault.

Cheat Engine, commonly abbreviated as CE, is an open source memory scanner/hex editor/debugger created by Eric Heijnen ("Dark Byte") for the Windows operating system.Cheat Engine is mostly used for cheating in computer games, and is sometimes modified and recompiled to evade detection. This program resembles L. Spiro's Memory Hacking Software, TSearch, and ArtMoney. It searches for values input by the user with a wide variety of options that allow the user to find and sort through the computer's memory. Cheat Engine can also create standalone trainers that can operate independently of Cheat Engine.

Cheat Engine can view the disassembled memory of a process and make alterations to give the user advantages such as infinite health, time or ammunition. It also has some Direct3D manipulation tools, allowing you to see through walls and zoom in/out, and with some advanced configuration Cheat Engine will move the mouse for you to get a certain texture into the center of the screen. This is commonly used to create aimbots. However, the main use for Cheat Engine is in single player aspect of games and its use in multiplayer games is discouraged.

Cheat Engine can inject code into other processes and as such most anti-virus programs mistake it for a virus. There are versions that avoid this false identification at the cost of many features (those which rely upon code injection). The most common reason for these false identifications is that Cheat Engine makes use of some techniques also used in trojan rootkits to gain access to parts of the system, and therefore gets flagged as suspicious, especially if heuristic scanning is enabled in the anti-virus program's settings. Newer versions of Cheat Engine are less likely to be blocked by anti-virus programs so features like code injection can be used without problems.

As of version 6.1, Cheat Engine can produce Game Trainers from the tables. While trainers generated in this way are typically very large for their intended purpose, generally used for testing purposes, some have been released by trainers groups as "final" versions and even some popular sites are fully based on CE trainers due to the ease of trainer creation with CE. However, despite their popularity, CE trainer maker has not been updated since its implementation in version 6.1, is largely unsupported and emphasis is given on using Lua to generate trainers. Even the trainer maker itself uses Lua scripts to generate trainers.

The game is based around the role of the military sniper, which the developer has noted that the public interest of which has increased thanks in large parts to shows on channels like the History Channel or the Military Channel.The game's objective is to insert players into the role of an elite sniper team sent into a hostile area in an attempt to help the rebels of Isla Trueno, a fictitious Latin American country, fight against the force who has toppled their government in a coup d'état.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior takes advantage of the Chrome Engine, which had previously been used on Techland's Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. The engine renders lush jungles with large draw distances. Several missions in the game take place during rainfall or nighttime, and various types of animals, such as crocodiles or cows, populate the tropical environment.

The artificial intelligence of enemies attempts to simulate a human field of vision. This allows players to crawl through tall grass or hide behind brush without being spotted.

In the game, players take the role of various characters for different missions. Among them are a sniper, Sergeant Tyler "Razor Six-Four" Wells, for long range missions and stealth assignments, a Delta Force operator, Private Cole Anderson, as well as a rebel, El Tejon, for missions involving direct firefights. The main plot centers around a highly trained special ops unit that is sent into the fictional country of Isla Trueno, whose democratic government has been overthrown by a hostile force.
Undercover CIA Agent Mike Rodriguez infiltrates the entourage of General Vasquez in order to set up a shot for the sniper-spotter team Alpha Nine. Killing the general would put an end to the regime on Isla Trueno. During the assassination attempt, Agent Rodriguez is compromised and captured, and General Vasquez escapes. After a series of missions, the assault team Delta Three, supported by sniper unit Razor Six Four, manages to free Agent Rodriguez from an enemy camp.

With Vasquez on the loose, Delta Three and Razor Six-Four are sent to set up an air strike on a cocaine plantation. After the successful destruction of the plantation, the evacuation chopper comes under attack and has to leave. Razor Six Four makes his way through enemy territory in order to reach the new evacuation point from where he is extracted.

Agent Rodriguez teams up with Sergeant Tyler Wells to steal plans of a nuclear warhead from an enemy camp. The mission is a success, but Agent Rodriguez turns out to be a traitor. He takes the data and leaves Sergeant Wells to be shot by the enemy. A rebel leader called El Tejon rescues Sergeant Wells, who then tracks down Rodriguez, kills him and retrieves the data.

Because the data files are incomplete, the Alpha Nine sniper-spotter team steals the rest of the data from the enemy. Together with Razor Six Four, Alpha Nine then eliminates Ernesto Salazar, General Vasquez' advisor. Decryption of the stolen data uncovers the location of a secret uranium mine on Isla Trueno. Delta Three and Razor Six-Four enter the mine facilities in an enemy truck, free the civilian workers and destroy the compound. To fully dissolve the now weakened regime, a second attempt is made to kill General Vasquez. Razor Six-Four completes the assignment successfully, and the game ends the moment Vasquez is struck by the bullet.

Ulead was founded on August 5, 1989 by Lotus Chen, Lewis Liaw and Way-Zen Chen. Commandos: Strike Force is a first-person shooter computer game and the fifth installment of the critically acclaimed Commandos series. It is developed by Pyro Studios and published by Eidos Interactive.
Released during the first months of 2006, the game makes a departure from the first three games. Although the missions are set up in a similar fashion (several different objectives, some to be achieved through stealth, others through use of force) and in most occasions the player is allowed to change between different characters, this is the first game in the series to apply a first-person perspective, like many other World War II-inspired games, in contrast to the overhead view of the earlier games. Hence, the game is far more similar to the Medal of Honor or Call of Duty games than to earlier entries of the series.
In France, October 1942 a sniffer dog detects a sniper from London, who reveals himself to be Lieutenant William Hawkins, of the OSS Strike Force consisting of the Green Beret, Captain Francis O’Brien from New York, Himself and “the boss” Colonel George Brown, a German spy.
Hawkins rescues three hostages from the Nazis and sends Maurice, a French Resistance contact to the Green Beret’s landing zone. In the plane carrying the Green Beret, one of the pilots shoots the other and kills nearly everyone else on the plane before the Green Beret overpowers and kills him. The plane explodes after he jumps out. The Green Beret covers the landing of some allied soldiers and a wounded Captain before blowing up a bridge. Earlier that evening, Brown had made contact with a Resistance member, Pascal and destroyed Nazi trucks and AA guns, they realise that there has to be a nazi informer among their allies which builds tension between O’Brien and Brown. Brown later takes on another task when he liberates a french doctor to help a wounded resistance member, he also helps the resistance even more when he steals explosives from a train yard and kills the garrison commander in a bordello.
The game attracted mixed reactions, especially from those coming from fans of the earlier games in the series. These fans felt that Strike Force lacked the trademark difficulty of the previous games. Similarly, it was promoted as mixing elements of strategy from the past games with traditional first-person shooter gameplay, but instead only hinted them while being predominantly action oriented. As a result, both critics and fans felt it did little to distance itself from the recent flood of similar games.

Capcom released a subtitled version in Japan on November 18, 2010 and later a Japanese-dubbed version on December 16, 2010. On August 3, 2011, Activision confirmed that the game had sold over 25 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling games of all time in the US, UK and Europe. A sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, was released on November 13, 2012. Black Ops is a first-person shooter, retaining the same gameplay mechanics as previous Call of Duty titles. The player assumes the role of a foot soldier who can wield various firearms (only two of which can be carried at once), throw grenades and other explosives, and use other equipment as weapons. A player close enough to an enemy can kill with one knife blow. A character can take three stances: standing, crouching or prone. Each affects rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. The player can drop to the prone stance from the standing stance while running, and can momentarily sprint before having to stop. The screen glows red to indicate damage to a player's health, which regenerates over time. When the character is within the blast radius of a live grenade, an on-screen marker indicates where it is in relation to the player, helping the player to move away or to throw it back. Among the weapons new to the series in Black Ops are crossbows with bolts and explosive ammunition, Dragon's Breath rounds and ballistic knives.

The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the story. The playable characters are special forces operatives conducting black operations behind enemy lines. In this way, the player's characters have their own traits such as voices and shadows. Each mission features a series of objectives that are displayed on the heads-up display, which marks the direction and distance towards and from such objectives as it has been in the earlier versions. The player is accompanied by friendly troops throughout the game. Although primarily a first-person shooter, certain levels feature sequences where the player pilots a Hind helicopter and guides friendly troops from a SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft.The campaign features several scripted cinematic moments. One of them is a bullet time effect during the "Victor Charlie" level, activated when the player fires toward the last enemy of a Viet Cong squad.

In September 2005, eBay acquired Skype for $2.6 billion.
