About Fast-Pak Trading, Inc.

Fast-Pak Trading has been a family founded and run business for over 15 years. By utilizing friends and family in other countries from around the world, we have been able to bring you the finest international products on the market.

Doors opened in the early 1990s as a machine parts import company, importing some of the finest equipment from Europe. As walls crumbled and political and national alliances shuffled, the demand for European machinery declined just as China and India began to enter the market.

Consequentially, Fast-Pak soon re-organized itself into food imports as the demand for those products increased exponentially.

What started out with a small, 5000 sq./ft. warehouse then now occupies over 75000 sq./ft. plus extensive office space.

What started out with simply importing products has grown into our own, brand new and HAACP certified large vegetable facility in Macedonia, where we produce the Va-Va label vegetable products.

Where can I buy your products?

There are many ways to purchase our products:

1. Order from us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week here, on www.fastpakstore.com.

2. Locally, we sell to Whole Foods in the NY/NJ area, Corrado's in Wayne and Clifton, National Wholesale Liquidators, and many other stores. Please call us to locate a store near you.

3. We sell, through our distributors, to fine retailers throughout the US.

I am wary of imported food, how long do your products last?

We like to say that as soon as you open a jar, you're going to finish it. However, if by some miracle you don't eat it all, an open jar will last two weeks opened in the refrigerator. Unopened, our products last up to three years while kept in a stable environment...which basically means store them in a cupboard or pantry, not outside.

What does "please contact us for availability" have to do with?

Many of our products, due to weight, quantity, or fragility, cannot be sold online. Also, we might be sold out of the product.

We encourage you to contact us and arrangements can be made for some items....for example, if you are near to us in Secaucus, you can pick up items from our warehouse.

What do terms like "100% natural" and "home made" really mean?

All our vegetable products are produced in our factory in Macedonia from vegetables gathered from specific farms all over the Adriatic region. Our factory utilizies employees who strip and core all vegetables by hand. All "roasted" vegetables are double roasted (not boiled, as our competitors)...roasted once to remove the skin and then again with spices for production. The only other ingrediants besides vegetables in our products are black pepper, salt, sunflower oil, and, if applicable, some vinegar or citric acid to preserve the color and crispness of the vegetables.

Are your products kosher?

Our New Zealand honey is Kosher Kashrut certified. Our other products, specifically Va-Va pickled products, are working towards that goal.

Shipping Information:

Fast-Pak Trading, Inc. is an active "green" company, meaning we recycle as much as possible; as far as shipping is concerned this means we reuse boxes, peanuts, bubble wrap, and other packaging materials as much as possible. We encourage our customers to do the same.

Please be aware that we are warehoused in New Jersey, USA, and, although they are selectable, some shipping options are not applicable. If this happens, your shipping charge will be calculated at zero and we will contact you with the correct charge. For instance, UPS Three Day is not available from NJ to Hawaii.

Orders that weigh in excess of thirty pounds will be have to be packaged in separate boxes, depending on fragility. Added fees are as follows:

30 - 59 pounds: $15.00 is added to shipping.
60 - 89 pounds: $30.00 is added to shipping.
90 + : $45.00 is added to shipping.

This will be calculated automatically by the UPS system.

Depending on stock, orders are usually filled 1 to 2 days upon receipt of order. If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you.

All shipments are UPS, and, thus, we are unable to ship to military bases at this time. This will be changing soon.
