What is Virtual Vault ?

Virtual Vault is your personalized Locker on the Net where you can keep your prize bonds (numbers only) in a secure and confidential manner for an endless period of time.

The idea for Virtual Vault was inspired by KalVault (Kalia Security Vault). Just as KalVault (Real lockers) has clicked in a huge way primarily because of the trust our clientele have imposed on us, we are confident that the Virtual Vault will meet with even a greater success.

How to Operate Virtual Vault ?

Step 1: New members to type their name, e-mail address, password etc as per boxes provided and click submit to obtain Locker # via email.

Step 2: After five minutes or so, check your email for your Locker #. Once you get your Locker #, you are registered as a member now. Type your Locker # and same password that you gave at the time of registration in the "Members Only" slot and then click "GO" to log on.

Step 3: Your "Private Page" will appear before you with several options including "Vault Section", "Deposit Bonds". Deposit Bonds option allows you to add your Prize Bonds in to the Virtual Vault. Vault Section option gives you the details of the bonds you have already deposited so far.

Step 4: By using combo box available with Vault section you may move to the respective section of various denomination where you will get an option of checking them and other useful features.

Step 5: To deposit fresh Prize Bonds, first enter the face value, type series alphabet and then the Prize bond numbers in the box provided From & To. It is mandatory here to click Add option here before clicking proceed to deposit action.

Note:
Although series # are not required now for the draw as per the new circular from Govt. of Pakistan. But in Virtual Vault we suggest you to fill the series # just to make sure that no duplication takes place. However, the slot for the series is an optional field.

Extra Features

Draw Checking:
An option of Draw checking is given in each of every Vault Sections except "General" section where you can check all possible wins so far by selecting Draw #.

Virtual Diary :
It provides you facility to keep all your private or top secret matters.

Virtual History :
It gives you full information regarding withdrawals and deposits from the Vault so far.

Vault Worth :
It tells you the total worth of P.B. you have in your locker at the current moment.

Retrieve Identity :
It gives you the facility to get back your membership details via email in case you have forgotten your Locker # and Password or both.

Profile :
You can change your profile (Name, Email, Password) from anywhere and at anytime you want to. But the Locker # once issued can not be changed by a member.

Surrender :
It gives the member a delete option in case he wants to surrender his Locker/cancel the membership.

The official currency of Pakistan is the rupee (PKR). One rupee consists of 100 paise (singular = paisa). When Pakistan began printing its own currency in 1948, they used Indian currency with "Pakistan" stamped on it for the first few months until enough of the Pakistani notes were in circulation. Until 1961, the rupee was divided into 16 Annas before being changed to 100 paise. From the time of the rupee's introduction until the turn of the 21 st century, it steadily declined in value against the U.S. dollar.

Key Economic Factors

Pakistan has had a difficult time economically and politically over the past decade. The IMF has established several reform and economic adjustment programs for the country, but domestic political weakness and division have made effective reform elusive. While average annual GDP growth has hovered around four percent, Pakistan's potential growth rate is probably closer to six percent if it could achieve macroeconomic and political stability. Poor tax collection and administration infrastructure kept the government budget perpetually in deficit and limited the public sector's ability to fund infrastructure development and basic social services. And, defense spending absorbed a high share of government resources that were available.

The major turning point in Pakistan's fortunes regarding international assistance came in the last quarter of 2001 when the US-led war on terrorism fought its first battle in neighboring Afghanistan. The Musharraf government elected, at no little domestic political risk to its future, to cooperate with the United States and was fortunate to have the first major phase of the war next door end with a new Afghan government it can live and work with and with the gratitude of the United States well-earned. Prospects for aid and debt relief are much improved and progress is already being made that will reduce Pakistan's international debt burden.

Although agriculture is declining as a percentage of total output, this sector remains the primary economic activity in Pakistan. Cotton, wheat, rice and sugarcane are the primary crops, which benefit from an extensive irrigation system. The annual cotton crop is of particular importance as it provides the input to the textile and garment industry, which is the nation's dominant export industry. Pakistan is attempting to increase its information technology sector, but only three percent of the populace has telephones at home. Having achieved a degree of self-sufficiency in the armaments sector, Pakistan is now promoting arms sales as a means of generating more diversified export revenue.
