My “The Fat Belly Project” experience.

The Fat Belly Project restaurant is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in comfort food for the whole family. This restaurant has now available in different locations and I think it is currently expanding to have more. The Fat Belly Project restaurant's menu consists of dishes like chicken and rice, beef and rice, fried chicken, fried pork, and an American-style buffet.

Many businesses have come to realize the importance of customer service as it is seen as the pathway that leads to high revenue and high-profit margins. With a well-trained and knowledgeable customer service team, any business can increase its revenue, profit margins, and overall customer satisfaction. And when people make it known that they're unsatisfied with their experience, a company must take the necessary steps to offer an improved service.

This is not your average tourist trap. The Fat Belly Project restaurant in Baguio is, in fact, the worst restaurant that I have visited in the Baguio, Philippines. We booked earlier and informed the waiters that we will go back to the restaurant around lunchtime. We arrived around 12:30 pm and waited for an hour before they serve our orders. In addition, the service here is terrible. The staff members are rude and dismissive of their guests, and they are unwilling to help anyone to find a solution for their hunger pangs. The Fat Belly Project restaurant should be avoided by everyone who cares about good food, good service, and a clean environment - this place has it all: bad service and bad food. It's not often that I leave a review, but this bad experience is worth it. The food was very bad, and the manager never came to apologize and just hides inside the kitchen.

4DX Theatre at Bonifacio High Street Central Square

Yesterday, our new company treated all the employees to movie and watched Jurassic World at Bonifacio High Street Central Square.

4DX allows a motion picture presentation to be augmented with environmental effects such as seat motion, wind, rain, fog, lights, and scents along with the standard video and audio. As such, theaters must be specially designed for and equipped with 4DX technology.

Ayalaland claims that its the Philippines' first 4DX Theatre that opens at Bonifacio High Street Central Square. But as far as I know, Enchanted Kingdom Rialto in Laguna offers 4DX Theater earlier than BGC Central Square.

Anyway, I already watched this movie last week so I already know the story.

Then the Tacsiyapo wall of Isdaan located in Tarlac Philippines is the perfect place to release all that anger! We went there again on our way to Baguio to eat breakfast before we head out to our up north road trip. I first visited Tacsiyapo at Isdaan Restaurant way back 2008. Now other parts of the restaurant have also been developed like the angry birds and this elephant.

“Tacsiyapo” means is a local cuss word which means “P_tang Ina” in Tagalog and “Son of a B_tch” in English. Tacsiapo is a special area in Isdaan Restaurant where you can buy mug, plates and other things like radio and TV and trow it to Tacsiyapo Wall. The wall was specially built for individuals who want to release their anger by throwing those things to the wall.

Instead of actually uttering a vulgar word at your enemy, you can just throw any ceramic item at the wall and use your imagination that you are smashing those items to your enemy! The items that you can throw on the wall are NOT free. Price range of the items starts at around 15 Pesos for a mug or a saucer, 18 Pesos for a bowl, 35 pesos for a big plate, 150 pesos for a pitcher, and the most expensive is the T.V. which costs around 2 thousand pesos!

The Tacsiyapo wall is well labeled with people’s description such as well-hated “mother/father in Law”, “ex-wife/husband”, “ex-girlfriend/boyfriend”, “alcohol, and other bad habits”, “casino”, “high-blood, arthritis”, “creditor/debtor”, “magnanakaw (thief)” and even your annoying officemates or your boss and many more. There’s even a special wall for the Isdaan restaurant employees to release their stress from annoying customers and from the looks of the wall it seems that they haven’t used it at all.

If you are really carrying that much anger inside you then you may even get tempted to buy the Television to smash it on the wall. Talking about anger management!

Another Chito Miranda Sex Scandal

The interenet is abuzz again for another Chito Miranda sex scandal with his girlfriend Neri Naig. The reported video is around 11 minutes long and is different from the first one video which spread on the internet like wildfire last August.

Chito Miranda claimed that someone stole his hard drive that contains the private files and videos in his room.

He alreaedy apologized to his and Neri Naig's family for the leaked video.

When the first video leaked Chito Miranda filed a complaint at the National Bureau of Investigation to track down the suspect who leaked his private video with Neri Naig.

Chito Miranda Sex Scandal

Another popular celebrity again is on hot seat when his intimate video with his girlfriend shared on popular video sharing website Youtube.

Alfonso Miranda, Jr. or Chito Miranda is a Filipino singer, songwriter, lead singer and one of the founder of the popular band Parokya ni Edgar. Chito already apologized on his twitter account @chitomirandajr for the private videos and photos circulating in the Internet.

"We are truly saddened by the fact na may nag-leak na private video of me and my girlfriend, Neri Naig," Chito said in a post on the official Facebook page of Parokya ni Edgar.

On his Twitter account, Chito said that his hard drive was stolen from their room in our house along with several other stuff. The scandal video and photo files were stored in the hard disk.

"Our hard drive was stolen from our room in our house along with several other stuff. Kung sino ka man, God bless," he added.

Hopefully Neri Naig will handle the scandal issue the same way Maricar Reyes did when her sex video with Hyden Kho went viral last 2009, the same time that Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili sex scandal went viral and became one of the top searched sex video in the Philippines.

I hope people will learn from their mistake and just stop recording their intimate moments with their partner no matter how you think that your data is secure because once it get shared online it will be forever be online and surely outlive you.

Home Made Mosquito Trap

I am planning to create this mosquito trap and see if its effective. Lately I noticed that we have a lot of mosquito outside of our house.

DIY Homemade Mosquito Trap

Items needed:
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 gram of yeast
1 2-liter bottle

HOW:
1. Cut the plastic bottle in half.
2. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
4. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle, taping them together if desired.
5. Wrap the bottle with something black, leaving the top uncovered, and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering area. (Mosquitoes are also drawn to the color black.)

Change the solution every 2 weeks for continuous control.

Excited to see my college friends again

Soon, I am going to meet my college friends again before Joy leaves for Australia to pursue her studies, work and maybe find Love. After she announced that she will be leaving for Australia on the second week of February, I was on mixed emotions. One, I was excited that a friend will go on a journey, will meet new people and see new place but I also felt sad because another friend will be leaving and it will take some time to see each other again.

While my girl friends are getting ready to find the perfect party dress for that special day, I just realized that I haven’t bought any new clothes lately. Pair of gray pants and white long sleeves is the last two items I bought for myself last year. Since I decided to start saving some money, I have no choice but to check my closet to see if I still have some good clothes that I can wear for that day.

The meet up was supposed to be this Saturday but decided to move it on a later date since a friend will not be available because she just left the country and will be in Thailand for a week. I was supposed to join the Thailand trip but last year I promised to myself that I will go frugal this year because I want to save money and earn my first 1 Million. Actually my target for this year is to earn 100,000 Pesos but that’s another story.

Ana suggested that we go to our alma mater to take some pictures together. She also suggested that we do the activities we love to do before. So I suggested some activities like billiards, watch movie and eating French fries besides the campus bridge. I am sure that we will surely enjoy that day because we have a lot of things planned for that day!

Even though I am a little sad that Joy will be leaving us but what the heck… technology is there to make it easier for us to keep tabs of each other. Right?

I have always wanted to travel around when I was younger. The first out of town trip that I did after college were Puerto Gallera way back 2005.

Puerto Galera renowned for its white beach and located at Oriental Mindoro, it's one of the beach destinations closest to Manila and one of the top tourist destination choices of Manilenos due to proximity as well as the numerous activities and adventures available in Puerto Galera. You will surely have a memorable time when you go to Puerto Galera especially with your friends or family.

How to get there:

1. Go to any of the following bus terminals located around Metro Manila. Travel time going to Batangas pier will take about 2 hours and the fare is around 200 Pesos.
a. Bus Terminals near the corner of Taft Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia), Pasay City. For those who are travelling by air going to Manila this bus terminal is nearest to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Domestic Airport.
b. Bus Terminal near Ali Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.
c. Bus Terminal in EDSA corner Kamias Street, Quezon City.
d. Bus Terminal in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

You need to pay the Terminal Fee worth 30 pesos per person as well as the Environmental User Fee for tourists going to Puerto Galera which is around 50 pesos per person. Since Puerto Gallera has 4 major points make sure that you are buying and riding the boat where you want to go. Sabang Pier, Muelle Pier, Balatero Pier and White Beach are the four major entry points of Mindoro. So if you want to go to White Beach make sure that you bought the right ticket and you are riding the ferry going to the White Beach.

If you are a foreigner, do not be shy to ask around if you are confused, most people who are travelling there and even the locals knows how to speak English.
