Palos Verdes Celebrates Local Fourth of July Fireworks 2026!

Palos Verdes residents are excited that this year our local beach fireworks will take place again over the water in Redondo Beach. Also this year, Torrance, San Pedro and Long Beach will be having their actual live fireworks shows too.

The City of Redondo Beach will be enjoying their firework show activities from a barge in Kings Harbor from 6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The harbor is located at 181 N. Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach.

Redondo Beach Seaside Lagoon will be enjoying their 4th of July activities from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. They will have fun family activities, music and food vendors. The price is $10/adults, $8 children, and under 2 are free. This fun event takes place at 200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach. There is a charge for parking.

The City of Torrance will be celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with 4th of July fireworks at the LA Galaxy Sports Complex, 555 Maple Avenue, Torrance. More information can be accessed by clicking here.

Also on Saturday, San Pedro will be enjoying a live fireworks show from Pier 46 for the 76th Annual John Olguin Independence Day Firework Extravaganza fundraiser which takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. They are also making it a special VIP event offering a dinner and actual special seating for a cost of $130 for adults, and $35 for ages 2-12. You can also bring your blankets and sit on the beach for free to enjoy the fireworks!

Palos Verdes Real Estate Sales Silver Spur Neighborhood 2025

2025 Palos Verdes homes sales for the Silver Spur neighborhood decreased to 33 single family homes sold compared to 34 in 2024. Price per square foot for Silver Spur houses that sold in 2025 increased to $957 compared from $937 in 2024, a 2.1% increase. Average sales price for Silver Spur homes sold in 2025 was $1,745,109 compared to $1,789,779 in 2024. The most expensive home sold for $2,312,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $1,050,000.

Currently, Silver Spur has 7 active Palos Verdes homes for sale from $1,549,000 for a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1,612 square foot home to $3,295,000 for a 5 bedroom/3 bath, 3,063 square foot home. Palos Verdes Malaga Cove 2026 Concerts In The Park!

Malaga Cove 2026 Summer Concert In The Park returns and will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Farnham Martin Park located next to the Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates. The concerts are held on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year they will be having 6 concerts which will begin on July 8, and continue through August 12, 2026. Thanks again to the Malaga Cove Business & Professionals Association for their sponsorship of these concerts and the City of Palos Verdes Estates, the Palos Verdes Police Association, and the Malaga Cove Library for their support. You may bring your blankets to save your spot any time the day of the event. Remember that only small back chairs are allowed in the center areas.

Palos Verdes 2026 Fourth of July Celebrations!

Palos Verdes Estates Fourth of July 61st Celebration 2026 will take place at Malaga Cove School, beginning at 9:30 a.m. This Annual Independence Day Celebration will be a day of family fun and a renewed sense of appreciation for our independence and freedom. This year’s Heritage of Freedom Honorees & Guest Speaker will be Evan Lovett creator of “L.A. in a Minute” viral podcast. Other awards to be presented will be The Van Dine Family Americanism Award to Jacki Backarach, Executive Director of the South Bay Cities Council of Governors. The Albright Essay winner is a Miraleste middle schooler Caleb Low. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Apple Pie Entries being dropped off for the judging that will take place at 9:30 a.m. Face Painting will also be offered to get children ready for the big Children’s Patriotic Bicycle Parade which starts at 10:10 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., the Magic/Puppet Show will begin and at 10:30 a.m. the formal program and award presentations will begin. After the dedication ceremonies, (and beginning around noon) there will be picnics, family games and patriotic music.

Malaga Cove School is located at 300 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates.

Rancho Palos Verdes will be hosting their Annual Independence Day Celebration at Ken Dyda Civic Center from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. At 3:00 p.m. there will be inflatables and rides, activities and games for the family along with live music, craft vendors, beer & wine, food and dessert booths. The event will end with a patriotic drone light show finale. There is a complimentary shuttle service provided from the Point Vicente Interpretive Center or to park at the event the price is $10 and cash only. 2025 Palos Verdes homes sales for Peninsula Center increased to 23 single family homes sold compared to 21 in 2024. Price per square foot for Peninsula Center houses that sold in 2025 decreased to $851 compared from $868 in 2024, a 2.1% decrease. Average sales price for Peninsula Center homes sold in 2025 was $1,884,761 compared to $1,928,026 in 2024. The most expensive home sold for $2,500,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $1,475,000.

Currently, Peninsula Center has 11 active Palos Verdes homes for sale. There are 5 single family homes for sale from $1,799,000 for a 4 bedroom/3 bath, 2,082 square foot home, to $2,400,000 for a 5 bedroom/3 bath, 2,812 square foot home. Terranea Resort’s Summer Music Sound Series At Nelsons 2026!

Terranea Resort’s Summer Music Sound Series for 2026, has kicked off and is a great way to unwind and relax after a long week. For resort guests and Palos Verdes homes owners, Nelson’s is the place where you can enjoy fantastic food, drinks, entertainment, and beautiful scenery on the ocean bluff at sunset in Palos Verdes. With a special view of the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Catalina Island, this unique restaurant is one of the most scenic locations in Palos Verdes. They feature live music every Friday & Saturday with music genres from Country, Reggae and Classic Rock. These great summer nights take place with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. and music from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. through August 29, 2026. The best bands from the South Bay will be performing. There is standing room only with accessible seating for those with limited mobility. This is a cashless event.

Palos Verdes Enjoys Movies In The Park 2026!

Palos Verdes home owners are excited that summer officially begins soon, and this Saturday it’s time for movies in the park. The City of Rolling Hills Estates will be having their Summer Movie Nights at Ernie Howlett Park starting on June 20, 2026, with the classic show “ZOOTOPIA.” The movie is about Judy Hopps, an optimistic rabbit who achieves her dream of joining the city’s police force. To prove her worth, she teams up with Nick Wilde, a cynical con-artist fox, to solve a missing persons case. They uncover a massive conspiracy involving predators turning uncontrollably savage.

In August, Summer Movie Night will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, with the great movie “THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE.” The movie is an animated sci-fi adventure where Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach travel into outer space. They must stop Bowser Jr. who kidnaps the cosmic Princess Rosalina to fuel a universe destroying cannon and free his imprisoned father.

You can arrive early to this free event – just bring your low back chairs, blankets, warm clothing and some movie treats.
