<p>Palos Verdes real estate sales March 2026 for Palos Verdes homes increased compared February 2025.  44 Palos Verdes houses sold in March compared to 23 homes in February and increased from the 41 homes that sold in March 2025.  There were 55 Palos Verdes single family homes pending in March which increased from the 41 homes pending in February.  The number of active Palos Verdes homes for sale in March (120) increased from the 105 homes for sale in February.</p>

<p>Average sales price for Palos Verdes homes sold in March decreased to $2,174,000 compared to $2,348,000 in February and decreased from March 2025 at $2,318,000.  Price per square foot for Palos Verdes houses that sold/closed escrow in March increased to $846 from $838 in February.  Average days on market in March was 60 days which increased from the 59 days in February.  Months of inventory (months it would take to sell existing inventory at the current rate of sale) was 2.7 months in March which decreased from the 4.6 months in February for Palos Verdes homes for sale.  A “normal” or balanced market is considered 3 to 6 months of inventory (less than 3 months is a seller&#8217;s market and more than 6 months is a buyer&#8217;s market).  <a href="http://palosverdessource.com/last-months-stats/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Entire charts can be accessed by clicking here or on the “Statistics” tab above.</a></p>
<p>Currently, there are 126 single family Palos Verdes homes for sale.  61 Palos Verdes houses are in escrow (35 homes have pending sales and 26 homes are active under contract).  Additionally, 12 homes have sold/closed escrow in the first 10 days of March.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to join the many great events held at the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden. Whether it&#8217;s just walking in the Garden enjoying the spring blooms, joining the current exhibitions, or dog walking, the Garden is full of great opportunities. Below is just a short list of some fabulous events that will take place in April.</p>
<p>The <strong>Canopy Club,</strong> the new chanting pop-up speakeasy, is hidden beneath the trees creating a not-so-secret dance party in the woods featuring Thomas Dambo&#8217;s Trolls. For a limited time, you can experience Trolls: A Field Study after dark &#8211; the only opportunity to see some of these captivating sculptures illuminated at night in the Garden. As twilight settles in, follow the winding paths, and listen to the pulsing beats where a live DJ sets the vibe with an electrifying mix of pop favorites, disco throwbacks and irresistible classics guaranteed to keep you moving. It&#8217;s part hidden hideaway, part open air dance party. Besides dancing, there are pop-up performances, lounge areas for socializing and food &amp; drinks available.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Palos Verdes AYSO Soccer (Region 10) is currently accepting online registration for Fall 2026. There will be no in person registration again this year. The <strong>Palos Verdes</strong> <strong>Region 10</strong> of the <strong>American Youth Soccer Organization</strong> (<strong>AYSO</strong>) offers year round recreational and competitive youth soccer programs locally for four year olds (U5 division) all the way up to 19 year olds (U19).  Several years ago, the AYSO National changed the age divisions and it is now based on a school age system (August 1 &#8211; July 31). The school age of your child in 2026 will determine their Fall division.  The home page at <a href="https://www.ayso10.org/region10">https://www.ayso10.org/region10</a> will show the divisions and age slots.</p>
<p>The online registration for the new Fall soccer season is open and all players (new or returning) must register online.  Parents must go to the registration website at <a href="https://www.ayso10.org/region10">https://www.ayso10.org/region10</a> and create a new account (for your child). If you registered your child in the past at eayso.org, you will enter your child&#8217;s name into the new registration website and his/her ID will be automatically transferred to the new registration site.</p>
<p>The cost for early registration now through June 30, 2026, is $230 for 5U &amp; 6U, $285 for 7U to 11U with $270 for each additional child, and $305 for 12U &amp; up with $290 for each additional child.  If registering between July 1, and July 31, 2026, the cost will be $230 for 5U &amp; 6U, $310 for 7U to 11U and $295 for each additional sibling, and $330 for 12U and $315 for each 12U and older sibling.  After August 1, 2026, the cost will be $255 for 5U &amp; 6U players, $335 for 7U through 11U with no sibling discount, and $355 for players 12U and older with no sibling discount. All registration takes place online and cash and checks are no longer accepted.</p>
<p>If you are interested in volunteering, you will find the required paperwork on the registration site.  Since <strong>AYSO</strong> is a 100% volunteer organization, they are always looking for volunteers to fill coach and referee positions.  (There is a special express line at registration for volunteers.)   If your child has not played the previous year, you will be required to submit proof of your child’s age either by birth certificate or passport.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>2025 <strong>Palos Verdes homes</strong> sales for Mira Catalina increased to 16 single family homes sold compared to 11 in 2024.  Price per square foot for Mira Catalina houses that sold in 2025 increased to $858 compared from $818 in 2024, a 4.8% increase. Average sales price for Mira Catalina homes sold in 2025 was $2,083.062 compared to $1,990,455 in 2024.  The most expensive home sold for $2,850,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $1,317,000.</p>
<p>Currently, Mira Catalina has 10 active Palos Verdes homes for sale.  There are 10 single family homes for sale from $1,600,000 for a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1,929 square foot home, to $13,999,999 for a 5 bedroom/7 bath, 7,634 square foot home. There are no condo/townhomes for sale in this area.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy has many exciting events for the community during the month of April. Included are Wild &amp; Scenic Film Festival, Earth Day Volunteer Outdoor Day, Spring Native Plant Butterfly Baskets, Nature Walks, Guided Garden Tour, Story Time Tails, Nature Club for Kids, Native Plant Care &amp; Sales, and Volunteer opportunities for everyone. Most of the preserves and the White Point Nature Center &amp; George F Canyon Centers are open. In order to keep all these areas open, volunteers are needed to help restore and maintain the beauty of Palos Verdes. Today in the Volunteer Activities you can find additional opportunities to help our reserves.</p>
<p><strong>Special Events</strong></p>
<p>Wild &amp; Scenic Film Festival On Tour will take place on April 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at the Redondo Union High School. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. for an Earth Day Celebration with snacks, special film guests and wild animal visit, face painting and much more. Show your appreciation for the planet by helping beautify outdoor public spaces and restore native habitat for the benefit of people and local wildlife. You will participate in activities such as planting, weeding, native plant seed preparation and watering the gardens, as well as enjoying children&#8217;s activities at the Nature Center. By participating you can enter a free raffle for great prizes!</p>
<p>Wild &amp; Scenic Film Festival On Tour will be presented at the Olguin Auditorium San Pedro on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. presented with the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. <p>Wild &amp; Scenic Film Festival On Tour will also take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the Olguin Auditorium San Pedro presented with the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. This screening will be followed by Arts Open San Pedro Festival (2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) with music, food trucks and more. <p>Spring Native Plant Butterfly Baskets &#8211; Special pollinator package with a half dozen 4&#8243; size native plants grown in the Conservancy&#8217;s Native Plant Nursery especially for making your garden beautiful, drought tolerant and able to attract pollinators looking for food and nesting places and as a way station for many species. Included are Rattlepod, CA Poppy, Seacliff Buckwheat, CA Bush Sunflower, White Yarrow and Blue eyed grass. <p>Native Plant Sales will take place at George F Canyon on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The native plant expert will give you professional tips on creating a garden waystation and home for local species. Park on the lot on the west side of PV Drive East about 400 feet uphill from the intersection of PV Drive North.</p>
<p>Native Plant Sales will also take place at White Point Nature Education Center on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:30 a.m.to noon.</p>
<p><strong>Guided Nature Walks</strong></p>
<p>Naturalist Guided Walk at George F Canyon will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Naturalist will guide you along a trail through the preserve to discover a unique variety of wildlife in the canyon habitat with amazing views of the LA Basin. Park on the lot on the west side of PV Drive East about 400 feet uphill from the intersection of PV Drive North. <p>Naturalist Guided Walk at Linden H. Chandler Preserve will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Experience this 28 acre nature preserve with blooming native plants. This restored habitat is home to the endangered Palos Verdes blue butterfly. This is considered a moderate walk. <p>Explore the Hidden Gems of the White Point Nature Preserve on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Naturalist will guide you along a trail (with amazing views across to the ocean) to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their coastal sage scrub habitat. Meet in front of the Nature Center and come inside to explore after the hike. Preserve parking is  available at the end of the street in a gravel lot at 1600 West Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro. <p>Native Plant Wonders: Guided Garden Tour will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026,  at 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the White Point Nature Plant Garden. Step into the beauty of the White Point Native Plant Garden and discover the wonders of California&#8217;s native flora. On this guided tour, you&#8217;ll learn expert tips on growing and caring for native plants, explore the vibrant garden habitats, and see firsthand how native plants support local wildlife. Perfect for gardeners, nature lovers, and anyone curious about sustainable landscaping. Meet at the White Point Nature Education Center and take home ideas to make your own garden a native plant paradise. Located at 1600 Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro.</p>
<p><strong>For The Kids</strong></p>
<p>Storytime Tails &#8211; Bunny Tails &#8211; will take place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Join the fun at the White Point Nature Education Center for fun stories about the cool critters that live on the nature preserve with crafts and hands-on activities. Recommended for kids ages 3-6 and their caregivers.</p>
<p>Nature Club for Kids -Trees &#8211; will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at White Point Nature Education Center. Celebrate Earth Month with a tree themed Nature Club at the center. They will have fun tree crafts and even plant a tree in the nature preserve. This is for ages 3 to 10.</p>
<p><strong>Outdoor Volunteer Activities</strong></p>
<p>Hands-On Conservation at the Lunada Canyon Nature Reserve Agua Amarga will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Join this canyon restoration site to help restore coastal sage scrub habitat and increase host plant resources for the rare and endangered Palos Verdes Blue Butterfly. Students may receive service hours. Register at <a href="http://pvplc.volunteerhub.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">pvplc.volunteerhub.com</a>.</p>
<p>Outdoor Volunteer Day at White Point which will take place on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. You will be working to maintain the preserve&#8217;s restoration area of native plant species to improve critical habitat for wildlife at the preserve and beautify outdoor natural space for the community. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Palos Verdes has some fun local Easter Egg Hunts coming this weekend! St.Luke&#8217;s Presbyterian Church will be hosting a Free Community Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Registration is required so please visit their website at <a href="https://www.stlukespresbyterian.com">https://www.stlukespresbyterian</a>.com to sign up. There will be face painting, music and lots of other things to enjoy.</p>
<p>St.Luke&#8217;s Presbyterian Church is located at 26825 Rolling Hills Road, Rolling Hills Estates.</p>
<p>On Sunday, April 5, 2026, the Neighborhood Church will be having their annual Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:00 service. Infants and toddlers can enjoy the fun at Dennis Smith Hall while the service is going on, and preschool and up will be in the Fellowship Hall for a variety of fun Easter crafts, music and games. Once the church service is over take your child to the Labyrinth across from the pond. There the children will gather 12 eggs and receive a goody bag. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11:15 a.m. and cookies, water, juice, coffee and tea will be served. The Easter Bunny will be there to take pictures also.</p>
<p>The Neighborhood Church is located at 4215 Paseo del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates.</p>
