""What did you do or are doing to take charge of your pregnancy, labor and delivery? Did you were told what you needed to do or were you involved in the whole process?"

****my answer***
I actually didn't follow all my doctor's orders. I have gum problems when I was pregnant and my OB and dentists prescribed a medicine for me. But I don't like taking medicine when I'm pregnant because I'm afraid it will harm my baby. I just endure the pain and I everything went well. Basically, I am just doing what is best for my baby. My baby comes first before me.

Power Nap

My eldest daughter has a fever that's why I stayed up this late. It's almost 12 midnight already. I monitor her temperature every 30 minutes just to make sure that she's okay. She started having a fever last night. I guess her body is fighting over whatever kind of virus she got from the school yesterday. Because of the cold weather a bunch of kids at school were sick. I hope whatever it is that Stephanie got will pass by quickly. It hurts me so bad when I know my children are not comfortable because they're sick. I can stay up all night just to make sure she's fine. That power nap that I took 8 hours ago can sustain me through the night.

Christmas Party

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_meTFsRd1t7A/SzevphuU-MI/AAAAAAAABKg/9HUqZ0Povv8/s400/DSC03726.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5419993804525861058" />
Our Christmas Party was a success! People we invited and expected to come came. There's a lot of kids. Oh boy, my kids were just occupying the dance floor most of the time, most especially my 'lil man. He was just rockin' out there. Lee couldn't be prouder of his son. The guests adored how my kids danced and I'm so humbled. It's heartwarming when people showered you with compliments. I was overwhelmed when Dr.Gray asked me if Stephanie was the baby me and Lee were holding when we were dancing the very first Christmas party we met, and that was four years ago. He and his wife can't believe how big is Stephanie now.

That is why I love our yearly Christmas Party. We are able to catch up with friends who we haven't met for awhile. This year's party is my most favorite because it's very private, and intimate. My whole Peters family was there. It's basically a family affair, although some of my friends invited people that I haven't met before but it was cool because we were able to mingle. It's always nice to meet beautiful people.

Anyways, the party stared at 5:30and we went home a lil after ten. Some of them stayed to continue dancing but my kids were sleepy already so we need to leave.

Once again, we have proven, there's unity in friendship. This holiday season strengthened our bond ,not just as friends but as family as well.

Thank you very much to Marie for the venue,Leny for the drinks, to Nette, my BFF Jeline,Tita Maria, Tess Soule, Gina Wells for the food, to Hugh Soule and Gina Wells for the music, Ms.Ellie, Mr. Jay, Dr. Gray and Ms Fay( Gray Chiropractic) for monetary support,Erin and Mario for being there for my kids and all my friends and family who make this event a memorable one. Till next year.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

I got my driver's license last October of last year. I can still remember the first few months when I started driving by myself, I am always nervous when there's a heavy traffic and I am scared to drive in the freeway. Now, my friends think that I'm a speeder. Honestly, now I got bored when I'm driving in a slow traffic. I can say that I'm pretty much confident in my driving and yes I am a speeder. I like it when everything went fast, although I do slow down once in awhile. The only thing that I can't tolerate is when I got a very low Internet Connection. That's why for 5 years now we stick with Charter Communication because I'm satisfied with their service.
And now Charter has their latest charter ultra fast 60. And it's known to be fastest in the country. I'm super interested with this one because I always do multitasking in my computer. I watched my NCIS movie online, and I have my Farmtown game from Facebook in the other window, while I'm uploading pictures in my friendster and read and reply emails in my yahoo account. I'm thrilled with the Charter's 60 Mbps, because this will make my online experience easier.

I cried because the episode is about a mom who gave birth in a distressful situation but it's happy ending episode. I have to pick up Bianca in 20 minutes. Sophie is sleeping as well as Eric but he's in the car. I'm keeping an eye on him. It's always like this right after we dropped his sister at school he fall asleep. He's so cute every time he bid goodbye to his sister. He will hug her tight and kiss her in the cheek. Oh my children, they're my inspiration. I live the simplest life but I couldn't ask for more.

Learning is not compulsory... neither is survival.

I'm Back

It's been a month since I last updated this blog and I just got the chance to update now because all my kids are sleeping and Bianca is in Klamath. By the way Bianca, is my husband's granddaughter whose mom, Jody died in a car accident last Nov. 2008. It took a lot of stress and hardships before we got a custody over Bianca because her mom left her with her ex boyfriend who is a known piece of s***t, probably that's why we won in the custody battle. It's been a 7 months court battle and I'm glad it's over. Besides the horrible costs of attorney's fees and evrything which we haven't paid off yet, the most important thing is Bianca is here with us. She's in a safer place now compare to where she leave before, in a reservation where people get drunk most of the day. And I would like to believe that she's happier now, now that she's with us. And I'm praying to God that I will be able to show her to be a good person and a responsible individual.

8 Days

Eight days more to go before my due date. Although I have a feeling that I might give birth sooner. I've been having contractions for awhile. I'm not worried because my doctor said my baby is doing great. That's what all matters to me. This pregnancy seems so hard for me because I have munchkins that make me busy most especially that we won in the guardianship of a precious 6 year old girl. I consider her a blessing. So far we have her for almost a month now but things are not hard as I thought it would be. We were able to make her feel at home. And I'm praying that I'm right with my observations. That's why I don't almost have time for blogging but I really tried my best to update my blog.

He'll Be Missed

When I first read about Michael Jackson's death in yahoo news, it wasn't confirmed yet that's why I was thinking that it might just be a publicity stunt until I saw it in the CNN news. At first it wasn't a big deal for me until I saw in CNN his videos, then I realized that he's really gonna be missed. His music is terrific and his songs are very inspiring. It's just always ironic when we feel someone's exemplary contributions when he's already gone. Amidst all his fame he was a lonely man all along and yet he has inspired millions of people through his music. May God have mercy on his soul.

Friends Are Blessings

"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."

I found another gem here in Crescent City,my friend Nancy. But hey, don't panic things like these happen and all we have to do is deal with it and move on. Here's a situation; someone got into a financial crisis because unfortunate circumstances happened to her at one time which leads her unable to pay her bills. There are bills that shouldn't be left unpaid because they will put a negative mark on your financial history. That's why if you're in a situation like this, consider applying for Payday Loans, it's quick and easy and doesn't require a credit check.

Looking for the Right Location

I'm excited to discover another store here in our place that sells baby and maternity stuffs. Our department stores here stop selling maternity clothes already that's why I don't have other options but to buy online. It's really different when you're able to shop at the store. That's why when I stopped by there last Saturday, I got carried away and bought a lot. I was just happy to see that they have my favorite brands. I also got 25% discount because they have a memorial sale. I love their store because they have a little area for the children to play. But they've been planning to move to a different location because the spot where they are at now is not so visible and the parking area only accommodate 3 to 5 cars. So it's not a good thing for their business. One important factor for a business to grow is the location. When looking for commercial property or an Office Space in your area, it's a great help if you go to officespacelocal.com or call at 1-866-269-9340 to look for a vacant location quickly and hassle free.

Kitchen Tips #2

I was also busy preparing for my citizenship interview, and it was conducted in San Francisco last May 11 so basically we celebrated Mother's Day in SFO. It was fun still just being with my husband and children. The best thing of all is that I passed the interview. Yehey!!! I'll write more about it later. It was an amazing experience.

Extreme48, the best deals around!

MANNY PAQUIAO The Scrubs is an online magazine that is quite more interesting than any other clinical nursing site. It's fun, interactive and and inspiring. As a nursing assistant, I love spending my free time surfing around in their website and participate in their poll and especially read interesting topics about beauty, fashion, news , health and many more. I participate in their polls . There are many polls that will attract the curiosity of the readers. One of them is about "our favorite fictional portrayal of a nurse". The choices are ;Greg Focker from the movie Meet the Parents, Carol Hathaway from ER, Carlo Espinoza from Scrubs, Cecilia Tallis from Atonement, and Margaret "Hot Lips"Houlihan from M*A*S*H. I voted for Carol Hathaway and I'm excited because she's at the top choice as of now. I've been watching ER for many years and I like her because she portrayed her role very well.
We can also share our ideas and opinions at the interesting topics in their Tip of the Jar section. I share my opinion on their "How to deal with an angry family member?" topic. They provide an interesting article about it . I experienced dealing an angry family member before tthat's why I agree with everything that was stated there. It's always a good rule of the thumb that you ask for the charge nurse to assist you in situation like this.
I really love this site and I suggest adding it to our favorites.

New Mommy

Last December, a friend of mine told me that I was lucky because I have children already.I told her that she will have one soon. But she doubted it because of her age. I assured her that God will always make a way . Then the following month we found out that she's pregnant. Indeed, miracles do happen. I'm so happy for her. She's very excited. We have the same OB doctor, so sometimes we met in the clinic. She sometimes visit me at my house too. Being a new mommy, she can't wait to start buying stuffs for the baby.Today, she found out that she's going to have a baby girl. I'm flattered because she really dropped by at my house just to tell me about the good news.

Batik Collection

Since I was young, I've been mesmerized by the rich beauty of any products that are made of batik. They are so colorful and fashionable. That's why I have my own collection of different apparel that are made of batik. Some of them I had for more than 15 years already. Some of those I've used during cultural presentations in the school. Me and my mom used to check stores who are selling batik products to see if there's new style available. They are also good for souvenirs. When my husband visited me in the Philippines for the first time, he bought batik products as presents for his loved ones here in the states. Now that, I'm here in the states with him already, I missed buying batik products. I brought quite a few batik dresses and I got good compliments about them.
I'm jazzed when I found a Batik store online called the Kraf Online. They have a wide collection of batik products that are sold at very reasonable prices.

This is a batik shirt for men I found in their store. It has a very nice detail on it which I'm sure will impressed my husband.

This beautiful batik sandal is perfect for formal and casual occasions. The details will surely keep your fashion step up a notch higher. This is even very comfortable to wear everyday.

It is really very remarkable for Kraf Online for putting up an online store for batik products. I think it's a great convenience for people like me who loves batik. We can just shop around at their site and buy the item that we want instead of waiting till we go the Philippines again or other Asian countries. It's very heartwarming that they promote the beauty of Asian products and by putting up a batik blog to promote awareness about batik.

If you like to add more to your batik collection or try batik product for the first time, head over to Kraf Online and get a 10% discount for all purchases by using the code : crafty. You will also get a free gift if you purchase $50 and above.

Quantity Vs Quality

I started my day by calling my bestfriend Jeline. I called her because I received a newsletter from our favorite store about their on going sale. Like me, she got excited too. What we do is we shop together so we can save from the shipping. So she told me what she wants. So I went back online. Shop around and geez I went crazy with the stuffs that I've found then when I checked out I went over my budget. Now I was confused which item to give up. I called Jeline back, informing her about my dilemma. After a deep thought we decided to just stick to the item that we just need and dedicate with our planned to save money to be able to buy genuine and timeless products like LV purse and Rolex watches. For me owning a Rolex watch is quiet an achievement in material aspect. It's something that you can pass through your family. And its value will never go down. Check out authentic Rolex at Best of Time - Where Time Lasts Forever. Best of Time sells Rolex watches that 100% genuine and authentic . It's better to own a single watch with the best quality than owning a lot but don't have value at all.

Handwashing

Our weather is 81 degree F, Mister Sunshine is showing up and smiling so I take this opportunity to wash our delicate that needs to be hand wash.
