Review of Animal Crossing New Horizons Apps available on Google Play.

I started playing ACNH in April and now I am addicted in all the different ways. I am in a bunch of Facebook Groups, Discord Channels, and of course I downloaded Apps. Tons of apps have been developed since the game has come out and I really applaud those developers!! In this review I will be reviewing what I consider the 32 most relevant apps for the game. I have divided them into five different categories.

The Categories are:

1. Designs- Sharing and creating designs

2. Turnip Sales and Calculators

3. Guides- Straight out great info and tips

4. Daily/Checklist Apps- Help with daily tasks or just help you keep track of all your items outside game

5. Connections- Meet to trade, sell, visit, etc in game

**Note if a App has the same name as another app then I have listed what the app icons look like.

Designs

The following apps serve the primary purpose to either create or share designs to help make your game look more amazing.

1.Nooks Pattern Designer

This app offers the ability to draw your own designs, convert photos straight from your phone into designs, save them to your own personal library and share them into a larger online library. You can get tons of custom made designs from the online library. Simple app the serves a basic creative purpose.

2.Animal Xing Designer

This app offers very basic drawing tools and you have to create your own outside QR code or designer tag to save your work. To me it seems like a lot more hassle.

3.ACNH ACNL Guides Custom Design Codes

This is actually a wallpaper app that a developer has converted into a source for players to find QR codes for custom outfits and designs. You save your preferred design to your phone to scan later.

4.Nookpedia

This app is a data base for players to store and share their custom designs. Easy to use. This also offers a Market place for items. Then it also offers a Insect and Fish checklist guide you can use as well.

Turnip Sales and Calculators

5.AC Turnip Broker

To be honest I could not figure out how to record several weeks of information so that it would give me a prediction for best day to sell the turnips. If anyone else has input on this they are welcome to add in.

6.AC:TC

This helps you determine if you have possibly met your best sale day for your turnips and tells you the amount of profit. Has nice written instructions.

7.Turnips

This one is pretty good for recording and tracking your prices. But I sat forever waiting for it to actually give me a prediction for the best sale day, which in the end it did not.

Guides

This section of apps are for the most part 100% guides on how to play the game, with helpful tips and tricks.

8.ACNH Companion

This app will give you any basic information you need to locate bugs and fish, and then basic info for all the possible villagers. It also has a search option. The main page also keeps you up to date on villagers current birthdays.

9.ACNH Animal Crossing New Fish Guide 2020

A little ad heavy, but opens with a list of various articles on the who, what, when and where for fish! Very detailed and a easy read and reference. So if you are a big fisher this has any info you may need.

10.Animal CRO

This is a super simple app for beginners. It has a list of basic topics a player can review.

11.Tips for Animal-crossing : New horizon new tricks

This app is also great for beginners as it has a great variety of topics that you can browse through to get your game started. The information is very detailed. It walks your through almost any topic you may need help with and has great pictures to go along with it.

12.Guide for Animal Crossing New Horizons

This offers a small variety of tips for the game, but the menu is kinda all over the place. Worth a read at least.

13.ACNH Helper

This app offers a small list of various short articles on how to play and improve your gaming.

Daily/Checklist Apps

These are apps you would use on a daily basis for reference or to keep track of collections and progress.

14.Animal Guide

This app offers you a daily checklist of things to do every single day, a list of current insects and fish, what you have turned in to the museum, lists of diy’s, furniture, apparel, works of art, song list, and fossils! It offers a basic list of villagers and you can mark if you want them or have them. Very last under tips it has a flower breeding guide. This is a pretty thorough app.

15.Animal Companion

This is a cute basic checklist app for fish and bugs! Easy to use and navigate with cute pictures.

16.Planner for AC:NH

This app has a neat feature where you can track other peoples islands as well. So keep record of your friends islands and help celebrate their birthdays! It also has information on other non playable characters in the game. It does offer a basic checklist for bugs and fish. It offers you a place to take notes as well.

17.ACNH Guide

***This App has a yellow Icon with a black fish and white butterfly***

This app offers a checklist for fish, bugs and bones. Super simple and easy, also lists what fish and bugs leave that month.

18.ACNH Life

This app you customize to your island. You list your villagers and then track bugs, fish, bones, and art. The cool part about this app is you can track what you own and your DIY’s as well! It also offers a small list of guides to help a player understand various things on the island. One neat feature is it has a villager compatibility chart.

19.ACNH Guide

***This App has a yellow Icon with a black fish, white butterfly, AND a fossil.***

This app has a checklist for fish, bugs, bones, and music. Then it offers a flower breeding guide. You can also track which villagers you want and have.

20.Completionist Animal Crossing: New Horizon

This app offerings a checklist of fish, bugs, bones and art. One neat thing is under more guides it offers short guides on balloons, tool durability, and flowers. Simple yet complete checklist.

21.ACNH Guide

***This App has a light green Icon with a brown book***

This app is pretty detailed. It has a checklist for: talking to residents, daily fossils, money tree, recipe bottle, hitting rocks. It also helps you track weekly visitors, villager birthdays, DIY collections, fish, bone, and bug collections. Has a flower breeding guide and turnip calculator. It is a detailed app.

22.Animal Crossing Companion Guide

This is a easy to use checklist app. The icons are large and simple and easy to understand. It tracks bones, bugs, art, fish and villagers.

23.Crosspedia

This app lets you input your turnip prices to predict future prices. It also has a checklist for bugs, fish, bones, and art. The great thing about this app is it has checklists for everything in game! It even lists what you can spend your nook miles on.

24.Horizonpedia

A simple checklist app. It tracks fish, bugs, bones, art, flowers and villagers. It also has a discord channel you can follow.

25.New Horizons Travel Companion

This app is a customizable checklist app. You can add and remove custom tasks you want to accomplish every day in your game and it tracks how many days you have accomplished them. It also lists current active wildlife and you can mark off what you own. You can also track your all your museum items and songs. Then it has a short flower breeding guide.

26.New Horizons Companion

This app offers a checklist for bugs and fish once you have donated them. Then it will tell you on the mail page what bugs and fish are leaving soon. It has a direct link to the Turnip Exchange website and the AC Fandom Wiki.

27.AC: NH

This app is a simple checklist for bones, bugs and art. It also comes with a flower breeding guide. The final page has a nice overview of what you have caught, donated and gave to make models.

28.My ACNH

This is a app you personalize by listing all your island info, your villagers, then it lists the events of the month, your collections progress, and turnip helper. Currently the collection part of the app is not functional, but I assume in the future it will be.

29.Island Time

This app lists the monthly events going on and then has one long list for fish and bugs on the main page. Then the second tab lists fish, bugs, villagers and artwork.

30.ACNH Companion

This app is a nice one you can personalize with your friend code, designer ID and Island info. Then if tracks daily tasks, who you should speak to, send gifts, and mail to. It offers checklist for fish, bugs, bones, art, and songs. I love it has a complete guide to the mystery islands! It comes with a turnip calculator and a list of a the Nook Milestone missions. This app also comes with its own discord channel. I personally like this app myself, if it had a list of all the items in the game it would complete!

Connections

There are only two apps under this category. But they are pretty good ones.

31.ACNH Tools

This app has four main functions. The first leaf tab is Nookazon. You basically can completely use the website from this app. The second leaf tab is Turnip Exchange and you can basically use that website completely from there. The third tab is the ACNH: Turnip Calculator, which I have not tested. The fourth tab is a invite to their discord channel. I accepted the invite but it didn’t change the status in app, so I still have to go to discord to view the channel.

32.ACNH Exchange

Now I won’t lie, I love this app. I use it DAILY. This app is primarily a events app with a little bit of sales. You can host events for free or for fees, like having Celeste or Kicks on your island. You can also host for Turnip sales. It helps you track who is coming and going from your island. You rate people and they rate you, so can deny someone from coming to your island if they have a bad rating. It also has a nice side thing to track your fish, bugs, bones, art, DIY’s and songs.

Spend your evening strolling on the sidewalks of Downtown, Bellefontaine as you look at beautiful pumpkin displays outside of participatingbusinesses. Vote for your favorites with dollar donations! All proceeds collected will be donated to the 2 Bite Program at the Logan County Farmer's Market. This is a fun program that educates and supports healthy eating among our youth. Feel free to dress up in order to have the chance to be entered in a drawing for the "Best Costume". The Photo Booth will be open to capture pictures of your little ones in their costumes. The evening will conclude at The Holland Theatre with the showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. Oct. 19^th – The Haunting at the Park

Oct. 19th- Boo at the Zoo

So the YouTube is calling my name. I am going to start posting some short videos on there about my different crafty experiences and hacks I come up with. My embroidery machine is still being repaired so I am going without right now. It sucks. I miss it BAD. But hopefully we will hear back this week and be able to go pick it up. The worst part is it is an hour away. Worth it just to have a working machine again though.

Fonts, Fonts, Fonts!!!

SO! I recently found out that you could download fonts to your computer and they would be usable in in my PE Design 10 software! It is like my crayon box went from 4 colors to 100!

So can you guess who sat down and individually downloaded over 200 fonts last night? Oh yeah, that was ME. I am so in love with them! Now I have figured out that there are a few fonts that are a little bit too complicated for the program but nothing too heart breaking. I have tested out a few. Now to give you a example of the fonts I have downloaded here is a variety I printed off in a word document.

Are these not cool or what? And this is only a sample of what I have downloaded! I cannot wait to use them in several projects I have planned. Now I did download them all from one source and I would like to share that here, so that if anyone else wishes to go out and get some cool fonts they can.

Simply click above to check out the site. Once you download the item it will be in a Zip file. No need to unzip! Simply open up, you will see the TrueType or OpenType Font and double click that. It will open up a preview that you can see. In the preview box at the top should be a install button and it is as easy as that. Once it is installed you can actually delete it from your downloads folder.

My Machine

First I want to start off with a little info on my machine and what I use. My embroidery machine is a Brother SE400, which is a embroidery sewing machine combo. So it has the ability to switch back and forth to do both. I only use for embroidery and I have another Brother machine I use only for sewing. Now my embroidery machine is currently in the repair shop, cue the sad music please. I do hope to have it back soon. Below is what my machine looks like.

This machine has a max hoop size of 4inch by 4 inch. As you can clearly see above. Seems small but I was looking for a affordable beginner option, something simple to learn on. Now the great part of this machine is it does come with 5 built in fonts and 70 designs. That comes in very handy. The best part of embroidery is the HUGE variety of designers out there! There are so many places to buy designs and get FREE designs. Brother machines use .PES file types, which each brand has different file types for the most part.

Now I don't claim to be an expert by any means and I am still learning every day new things. A lot of what I learn is from the awesome Facebook groups I am in and from YouTube videos posted by people who seriously know what they are doing.

I use the deign software PE Design 10, which is a Brother design software. I love how easy it is to use and learn to use. If I ever get stuck I just look up a YouTube tutorial and I am set.

Before I went much further into my adventures and stuff I wanted to explain my basic equipment I am using.

Update and Restarting!

I haven't written in way too long and the biggest reason is nothing really inspired me to write. In the past two months I have become very passionate about sewing and embroidery, especially embroidery!! I purchased a Brother Se400 on April 8th. I LOVE it. I have been learning how to use it and how to digitize aka make my own designs! The whole experience has been crazy and fun. Right now my machine is in the repair shop, and I hope this gets it all fixed. I plan to write a lot more blog posts about the whole thing simply because I am not Vlog material, lol. I just don't know how to edit videos. So None of that for me sadly.

Writing and Learning about Me

I used to write a lot here, I loved having a outlet to express myself. This along with journal on a regular basis. But I feel over time I lost myself because I lost many of the things I used to do that made me ME! I used to blog, journal, read, paint, make jewelry, play sims and world of war craft, sew, and dream of opening my own business. Now I clean house and raise kids. That is my life. I never realized until now but so much of my view of how my life should be was a very feminist point of view. I felt I should be strong, independent, creative, smart, and able to achieve ANY dream and goal. I wasn't going to settle for being a housewife or just a Mom. But now that is what I am. A homemaker and a mom. And I feel like that is all I am. I struggle daily to keep up with laundry and dishes. Failing daily at potty training my oldest, while my youngest like to show me how much they can really tear apart a house. I haven't held a job in 5 years now, and I am starting to doubt my ability to. It is heart breaking and depressing.

I usually spend this last part of the year deciding what I want my new years resolution to be. You would think that I am getting to the point of saying this year I am gonna get out of this and find myself again! But sadly that isn't the case. I feel life has defeated me. I feel empty and so tired of fighting. So I think my new years resolution will be to learn to accept and conform to the role I have been assigned. Because at this point, I don't have hope. I don't find joy in anything any more. My kids do make me happy, but they don't make me feel complete. At this point I just don't think I will feel complete again.

I spent a vast majority trying to make myself better. My goal was to be healthier mentally and physically. I went to the YMCA and worked out frequently. I ate better. I got into therapy and took different things to help with mood. I worked hard on making our home nicer and our family happier. But in the end I still felt empty and alone. I wanted to be stronger and happier. In the end I still feel weak and sad. So I think it may be time for me to accept, I can be nothing but what I am and stop trying to reach so far.

If you can't tell, today wasn't a good day for me. Tomorrow won't be better. For the first time in a long long time, I don't want to celebrate Christmas. I don't want to open gifts or see people. I have always been so open in my life, and what has happened to me I can't be open about and that makes the sadness even deeper. I don't know what will happen next.

I have to write this and I have to write this right now, if I don't the moment will pass and I will forget it. I am so tired of forgetting. At times it makes things more enjoyable, because some feelings are new, but most times it just makes me feel sad. I Just finished hanging up my 2015 college picture. Every year since 2009 I have made one and now they all hang on the wall by the front door. All these years of memories hanging right there makes me so happy. We had all gone through so much and so much has changed. We went from just a few friends to a close family. We went from merely Justin, Jeremy and I to a full six. I love my boys so much. They bring so much joy to our lives. I look forward to everything I am going to experience with them. I really feel like 2016 is going to be a amazing year and has been so far. Even though I was given the bad news that I have fibromyalgia. I start on medication today. But having an answer to my health problems means so much. I have been in a pain for a while now, but I never complain, at least if I can help it. But even though the pain sucks the worst part is the memory loss. I constantly forget what I said, I have done, where I have been, why I got up, and what I was doing. If interrupted I completely forget what is going on. I lose track of nearly everything. I have begun to keep a tight organizational system just so I can not go insane because I NEVER remember where I put anything. So my coat, shoes, and purse go in the SAME place every day. I try not to set my phone down because I will instantly forget where I put it. I have several times lost my train of thought mid sentence. Planning and organizing has become so hard for me because I forget to finish, start or do a lot of things. I constantly have to write multiple check lists and reminders. I have to ask Justin, Jeremy or my sister to help me remember to do things.

It makes me a feel like a FAILURE. It doesn't help I hate asking for help. I will think Oh this needs done, and if I don't write it down or tell some one right away, the idea is gone, and I might as well have never thought it.

But I have a amazing family. Justin has been there for me no matter what. I don't know what I would do without him. There are some days where he works so hard, and I am so grateful to have him. The boys adore him and he has been a amazing father.

Time has passed...

So much time has passed since my last post and so much has changed. My life at some points feels like it is in a constant state of flux. I recently lost some one I was very close to a few months ago and in that moment I felt weak. Weaker then I had in years, and I didn't know who was going to save me. But then days passed and time went on and I started to grow. I picked up my pieces and grew stronger. Those moments when you feel like you cannot handle the change and the challenge, those are the moments that define us. But I didn't feel inspired to write today because of that sadness and burden, I was inspired to write today because of the happiness that is filling my home.

There are mega blocks all over the floor in front of my kitchen. A whole bag, dumped out and scattered, because today Aries decided he wanted to build things and the twins helped. It was beautiful to see as I sat at the table. I sat there working on paperwork and watched my boys learn.

I grabbed a cold bottle of tea from the fridge, because my roommate Caitlin remembered to stock it. The fridge is covered in photos of family and friends.

I got to spend time cuddling each of the twins to sleep tonight. Aries went to bed watching his new favorite movie 101 Dalmatians. A love he now shares with his dad.

I got to hang out with Jeremy, laying around watching dumb videos and looking at funny pictures on iFunny. Just hanging out.

Aries told me today he was HUNGRY, not just that he wanted a snack. Every day, new words, and sentences.

The joy of getting to wear new clothes I got for this season.

Justin found out today they will be extending his work hours back out, so that means more money for Christmas and for our savings.

Everyday I fall more in love with the man of my life as I watch him play with our kids, and spend time with them. He is a amazing father.

Caitlin starts her new job tomorrow, and her new school next week. So much change and she has arranged it all herself. I am so proud of her.

I found the twins matching dinosaur costumes, and Aries has his own, so I will have 3 little dinosaurs to take out trick or treating this year.

All of these beautiful things are why our house is so happy. We have so much good in our lives, so much to be thankful for. Life is never a perfect thing. Things happen, and people come and go. But the truth is if you cannot make it through the hard times and struggle you never get to enjoy the good and all it has to offer. Since having the twins I haven't been as strong as I need to be but I am learning I can be. I can find myself. I can do this. Life is beautiful and I won't let events or people hold me back. I never have before now, and I am not about to start!

Feeling Complete

So being a mom keeps you busy. Busier then you expect. Being a mom to twins really ups the game too. I never really knew before this that my heart could hold so much love. When I hold my son Draven and look into his eyes my heart just melts and I think to myself how can I ever love anyone as much as I love him in this moment? But then his twin brother Brazen cries and instantly smiles as I pick him up and my heart melts all over again as I am overwhelmed by happiness. And of course there is Aries, who charms me every day. Every word he says is amazing and makes me so proud. I love each boy a little differently and I am so glad they are different in their own ways. I never truly knew my heart could hold so much. Because not only do these boys hold a special place in my heart but so does their father. Justin makes me smile everyday, making my life complete in ways no one else has. I really don't know what I would do without him in my life. But in the last year I also gained something I haven't had, possibly not ever before. I finally have a female in my life that I connect very closely with and trust with everything. Now that she is here I can't imagine my life without her in it. My family feels so complete now and my home so full. Even when things aren't going as planned or trouble arises, we always help each other and can depend on one another. Things aren't perfect but I wouldn't have them any other way.

Spring Cleaning

Well, if I haven't mentioned it before I will now. I am a hoarder. I do have a problem. But the best part is I have support. I have a family that helps me, and we are making a change for the better. We had our house over packed, and we have finished sorting here and are going through our storage units now.

So Phase One is the first part of our big spring cleaning. We started by making a large master list of the items we wanted to accomplish and the time we wanted to accomplish them in. After that we started going through everything in the basement and sorting them into different boxes. We sorted them by Keep, Yard Sale, Donate, and Sycamore House.

The Keep stuff will go through a second round of sorting after we finish the basement and storage units. This way I get rid of anything I may have kept that I really didn't need after all.

The Yard Sale boxes are items I think I could sell quickly and make decent money off of. I have tons and tons of sale items and most of them will be donated.

The Donate box is everything we need to get rid of that isn't trash and will go straight to local thrift stores.

The Sycamore House box is all the motherhood and baby/children items I have to donate. They are a great organization that has helped me get baby supplies and maternity wear, and I want to make sure I give back to such a great program.

So Phase One will be considered complete when we finish emptying out both of our storage units. This is a big feat because we have two units that are 10X20 feet and were basically filled to the ceiling, front to back. So accomplishing this is a big thing to get done overall.

Now Phase Two is more detailed and requires less heavy lifting! In this phase we go back through the keep boxes first, and get rid of any extra stuff. I want to thin out as much as possible. So once we have thinned out everything and we are sure we are down to ONLY the items we are for sure we want to keep, then we go into our organizational part of the phase. We will go from box to box and determine which room the items go in, then sort items and put them away. At this point we will work on rearranging and determining what we really have room for and what we don't.

Phase Three is the expensive phase. At this point we start our remodeling. We are adding on a additional room that will be half a craft room and half a play room for the kids. This is my ultimate goal. So I can spend time with the family yet craft in my own space.

Starting Basics of Couponing

I used to be a big couponer, I did it for a while and built a amazing stock pile. Now that I have been out of the game a while, and our stock pile is beginning to dwindle, I am highly considering restarting. With couponing it is the same principle that applies to nearly everything in life, the more work you put into the greater the reward. My trips were never the 'extreme' kind where I got huge amounts for pennies, but on average I would save 50 to 75 percent on my trips. So if you like the sound of spending 25 to 50 dollars instead of $100, then couponing may be for you! Normally I am a bit of a cheater and I use several websites to do my weekly match ups for me, so all I have to do it pick and chose the items I want to buy, pull out my coupons and head out the door! But let first start with where to find coupons.

The primary source for coupons is going to be your Sunday Newspaper. Fairly simple, around here they range from $1.50 to $2.00 per paper. Some times if you have a Dollar Tree in your area they sell the paper for only a buck! I ideally recommend buying two papers every Sunday to start. This will get you two of each coupon. To be fully honest you really have to do this for about a month until they start matching up with sale items. So for about four weeks, you will buy these papers. If you are lucky sometimes you can dumpster dive at the local newspaper office and get these coupon inserts free!

The next source is printable coupons. There are a variety of sites out there that you can print from. here are the following ones I use:

There may be more out there, but these are my primary sources. These allow you to print 3 of each coupon from one computer. Printer doesn't matter, you just use a different computer and you can print 3 more. Also they DO NOT have to be in color! Print in black and white and save some money there.

Your final source is more random. You can find them as little tags on bottles, on boxes, in boxes with products, or at those little sample tables at stores. Random coupons companies give out to entice you to buy something new NOW.

My advice as your first step into your coupon adventure is just start buy using coupons on things you buy everyday. If you are wondering if a coupon exists for an item you want to buy you can find out here on the Coupon Data Base. You can search and it will tell you where to find it if there is one.

Everyone wants to coupon to save money, but to get started it is a small investment, in time and money. My first few coupon trips were not huge or thrilling, but the longer I did it the more I saved. I easily made up any extra money I spend that first month by month three. This is something that can take up as little or as much of your time as you please. There are MANY groups and websites that can help guide you and point you in the right direction. Google and Youtube are your friends!!

So I am expecting twins come January 2015 and there are a ton of different sites that have small or partial lists of companies that offer multiples programs. I finally got fed up with all these little lists and made a master list after searching through many many websites! The following list includes companies with physical addresses you can mail your request to, some have phone numbers you can call to request, and others have only the website option of requesting. Most of these companies do require some sort of proof of multiple births, whether that be a crib card, photo copy of a birth certificate, or just a letter from the doctor or hospital. I cannot guarantee that all these companies offer a program, or coupons, etc. This is the best list I could come up with, but if you find more let me know! Also if you contact a company and they offer NOTHING, LET ME KNOW! Even if a company doesn't have a multiples program a lot of them will send out free stuff/coupons for new babies anyways!

Pregnancy Pictures and Update

I came up with a way to share my bi-weekly pictures without flooding people with lots of similar pictures and such. The red pictures are Baby A: Draven Phelix. Then the blue pictures are Baby B: Dante Phoenix. Each belly picture has two ultrasound pictures to go with it from they week. With my Mono-Di twin pregnancy they will be monitoring me with bi-weekly ultrasounds until I deliver at roughly 36-37 weeks. Right now as of 22 week and 3 days Baby A: Draven weighs 1 pound 7 ounces and Baby B: Dante weighs 1 pound 6 ounces. That is very healthy and BIG! As of 22 weeks that makes me 5 months pregnant. If we are counting down I have roughly 14-15 weeks of pregnancy left.

When it comes to preparing for the babies arrival I feel like I have so much more left to do. I have mostly what they need, it is just a few things left we have to have and lots of stocking in advance. I am feeling extremely nervous about their arrival and want to prepare as much as I can.

Being Pregnant With TWINS!

This is how it starts. Your period is late. You take a test.

POSITIVE.

I knew from the get go, something wasn't right. I took the test the very day my period was due. I felt 'off'. That test turned positive faster then I have ever SEEN a test turn! My OB wouldn't see me until I was at least 8 weeks. We found out at 4 weeks. Waiting. So we did.

We show up. At this point I was SICK. Like more then morning, more then normal, at least what I thought was normal. So the jokes start, Oh it must be a girl or Twins! hahaha. Right.

My doctor starts the ultrasound. Starts kinda high and rolls on down past what looks like the baby. At this point Justin and I are both thinking "hmm what was that?". Then he stops lower and is all Hey! here is the baby! See the heart beat? We are thrilled. He looks at the baby a minute, and then rolls the wand on up my belly and little and goes AND here is the other baby!

I start crying and Justin looks like some one slapped him. I cried out I knew it! And the OB looks surprised that I was in the know! lol. Two healthy little heart beats and two little sacs.

Two weeks later I start my belly pictures.The idea is still crazy. TWINS. How could it be TWINS? Do you realize that means there are TWO BABIES IN THERE?? I know I look happy and calm, but still freaking out! Did I mention twins? Holy Crap.

I got back to my OB. We get a professional ultrasound in office. Here is the pictures of my pretty babies. They are 11 weeks and 4 days. After some quick comparison Baby B looks like my son at 17 weeks. This makes me nervous, because I want girls. Or at least one girl. But then my son is very pretty, so who knows? Even if you squint you CANNOT tell gender at this age. WHY? Because right now girls and boys both have what looks like a penis. Everyone does at this age. In the next 4-6 weeks they either lose it or add to it depending on gender.

My next belly picture! 15 Weeks exactly. Finally gained some baby weight. Bump starting to form. At this point I already feel WAY pregnant. Just finally starting to look the part! Twins. It is still twins. Crazy Twins. It is still rocking our world that there are TWO BABIES IN THERE!

Feeling Thankful

So after a negative start to my morning I feel I need to share all the parts of my life I am thankful for so that I don't let this small negative moment overwhelm me. Dealing with my anxiety, I tend to let the small bad things pull me down and hurt me more then they should. So here is my list.

1. I am thankful for Justin. He has been my boyfriend for over 5 years, always standing by my side no matter what. No matter how hard things were, or how broke he was always there. He is a amazing father to our son, and takes amazing care of him. I am so happy I finally get to marry him in August and then be able to brag I am his WIFE!

2. I am thankful for our beautiful home. We have a large spacious home that is clean and safe for our son. I have a large area that I can do my crafts in, and big yard for the dogs and Aries to play in. We have tons of parking space, and huge garage to hold yard sales. I love it here. It also has the perfect location exactly halfway between Springfield and Urbana.

3. I am thankful to our pets. We have 3 amazing dogs of our own, and a beautiful cat. Our cat works hard to keep our home mouse free. While our dogs are very spoiled they bring such joy to our lives! They are also so good with Aries in their own ways. I wouldn't trade any of my dogs.

4. I am thankful for Kim. As my future mother in law I really couldn't ask for better. She is the most amazing Grandma EVER! Aries loves her so much. Plus she is always there for me, and us, in every way. Even though we don't always see eye to eye, we always find a way through and come together as a family.

5. I am thankful to have great vehicles. We own out right 3 vehicles now. Although we need to work on a few things, they run good and are dependable. I love that I have the kind of van I want so I can tote around the entire family to outings together.

6. I am thankful for my Dad, Butch. We have not been close most of our lives, and now we are. It is great to know I have some one I can ask advice for and will come and help me when I need him to. He is a good grandpa to Aries and we always have fun when we visit.

7. I am thankful to have money. We may not be rich, but if we need anything we can afford it. That is a big piece of mind. I can always buy Aries everything he needs and the things we need.

8. I am thankful for my son Aries. Everything about him amazes me and pushes me to be a better person. He is so smart and funny. I love having every moment with him. I am so happy I get to stay home with him and I love just being his mom. He is a little part of my soul and I would do anything for him!

There is so much more I am thankful for, but this list alone makes me feel so much better! I love my life and the wonderful people in it. I feel really bad for those who chose to live dark, hateful lives. I will continue to lead a beautiful life full of happiness and light.

April Update

April has been a crazy roller coaster ride! We are dealing with legal issues with the previous owner of our home, which has been a drain on us money wise. We are also in the process finally of filing my divorce. With everything in motion we will be able to have our small private wedding this fall. We decided to have a private ceremony this time so that we may save up and have a large beautiful ceremony later. Plus I want us all to go on a group honey moon with the kids to Disney Land! Justin and I are kids are heart.

Aries is growing so fast! He is now ten months old and almost walking. He takes little steps all by himself and stands alone as much as he can! I am so proud. He has 4 teeth now and will eat anything you feed him. The greatest joy in my life is watching him play and grow. He has such a unique personality too. Crazy, funny, and just wild. He is so attached to his Grandma and Daddy too.

Another big leap is I decided to start selling Passion Parties! I still remember so much from when my mother did it years ago, and I have gotten a head start on it. I am on track with the Fast Track Program and have been really successful so far! I have a small party this weekend and several coming up at the end of May. Life is going so well for us and Passion Parties has made it even better!

We are also planning a huge garage sale this coming weekend, to help raise some extra money to go toward our legal fees, wedding, and hopefully our Iowa trip.

Things I made!

I am posting this from my phone so bare with me on this. I am going to try my best to make it work and make sense of it!
First off this is a post about all the new things I have made since we moved into our new home!
The very first picture is of our TV stand I made. This isn't very special but a huge help because we can now fit the cable box and Xbox360 under the TV so they can be seen clearly.
The second picture is of my DVD shelves I have made. We had a huge DVD collection and I wanted to be able to see all of them and make good use of the available space. Total there are three shelves. The shelf on the left has legs that hold it up because it could not be mounted into a stud.
The third picture is the new pots and pans rack I did. I took a old bookshelf and removed the middle shelf and drilled holes in the top for the hooks. Much easier and faster to get to the pots and pans now!
The forth picture is of one of the coat racks I made. It is right behind the front door and has plenty of space for guest shoes and coats.
The fifth picture is the coat rack I put in upstairs. This one is for me and the guys to hang up our stuff.
Then the very last picture is my proud fix it moment. We bought our van and the key fob had the ring holder broken off. So there was no way to put it on a key ring! So after some thought I figured out I could super glue some ribbon on there to replace the ring and ta-da! Good as new!
So I feel like I have been very handy lately and a Mrs. Fix It. We have been changing light bulbs and replacing the solar lights, as well as trimming the vines out back. I am loving this new house and loving working on it!

My First Cricut!

So I finally went out and bought my first Cricut machine. I happened to be at WalMart searching for some more letter stickers or some sort of paper to make the first page of my 2014 family scrapbook. So as I am browsing around I come across the last one on the shelf. A Cricut Expression, marked down. I really didn't want to buy one originally because they can be very expensive. Plus I honestly thought I would never get any use out of it. Now that I have a family to make memories with I have more stuff to scrapbook! So the picture below is my exact model of Cricut.

I also have tons of scrap booking paper that is just begging to be used! I went through them last week and sorted them all by color and holiday. It took a while but was well worth it. I have already found papers much easier now that I know where to look.

This is what the mat looks like before you cut, the mats are sticky and the paper will stick so it doesn't move around while the machine cuts the designs out for you.

This is after me pulling off the first part of the paper. I did the name Moran across the top, and the numbers for 2014. The square was a really complicated design, and it died when I tried to remove it. New mats are SUPER sticky and I didn't know, so it was like a crime scene trying to get it off.

Here below is the finished product, the red polka dot letters were all from my first attempt. Then I did the darker red letters on another piece of paper and it came out great. I am getting the hang of this!

The only part of the page below that was Cricut cut was the light blue paper behind the words Birth Announcement. But it added a nice touch to the page.

This one is my favorite I have done so far. I went online and printed off the white paper, it is a chart that says when the babies teeth are supposed to come in. So we wrote down Aries first tooth. Then I used the Cricut to cut out the boarder for the tooth chart. I did it as a frame and not a big solid piece, so I could use that extra paper that would have been in the center, later in anther project. Then I still had enough edge paper to do the letters at the top of the page too. I was really happy with how it turned out in the end.

Aries

So since my son was born I have gotten a lot of questions about his name. I guess I assumed the names meaning was more well known. So I am going to explain it a bit more here.

Aries is the Greek God of War. The name is spelled several ways, the primary ones being Ares, Aris, and Aries. You see which one I prefer. From what is read here it says the Aries was the son of Zeus and Hera. It also states he is the god of war, and his animal is the dog.

Now bringing up the spelling again, after a little research I found out that the spelling I chose goes more along with the sign of Aries the Ram. Which I named him more after Ares the God. Also, although his name is Aries, he is actually a Scorpio, and I myself am a Gemini.

Aries from mythology had several lovers and children. These family ties can be seen here.

I know this is short, but I hope it can give you a better understanding of my sons unique name!

What We Look For in a Home

So in December we got approved for a home loan and have been house shopping. Now we have put a offer down on a home and are currently working toward getting it. I wanted to share what exactly my family looks for in their perfect home and why. What does our home need?

1. Three or more bedrooms, with the potential to add more. We have Justin and I, Jeremy, and Aries currently. I am hoping to have a daughter eventually, and her to have her own room as well.
2. Parking for at least 3 or more cars at once. Actually this needs to be parking for 5 or more cars at once. We currently own 3 cars, and I want to buy a RV in the future. Also when Kim comes to visit she will need a place to park.
3.MUST be off street parking. My van was totaled while parked on the street. So no street parking.
4. Has to have a decently large back yard. Has to have room for a swing set for Aries, a trampoline, a 12x12 garden space, and a area to grill.
5. The yard must be able to be fenced in. I want to be able to have a safe environment for my son and dogs.
6. A front yard is required. I don't want to live in a house basically right up against the street. The noise is awful. I would like to be able to hold a yard sale in the front yard as well.
7. The kitchen must be open and large. I own a lot of cooking tools, such as toaster oven, coffee maker, 3 different steamers, two crock pots, and tons of other items. Plus I believe in stocking and stock up food. I also have a full size stand up freezer and chest freezer.
8. The bathroom has to have a lot of storage for towels, soaps and etc, or there must be another place to store these items, like a linen closet.
9. There must be two bathrooms, or at least two toilets. There is nothing more horrible then someone have to take a poop while you are in the shower. It ruins it.
10. Must have a barn or garage for us to store our outdoor tools and items. It must also be big enough to pull in one car so we can work on them at home.
11. The house must have an area besides the living room for me to store my crafts. I have a lot and they need their own area.

Now that 2013 is coming to a close, I would like to take a moment to review the awesome moments of this year! There is so many great things that happened.

I began the year, already pregnant. I was 13 weeks along on Jan. 1st, 2013. That was really a interesting way to begin the year.

We spent a lot of time searching for a new home and getting ready for baby to arrive. We found out at the end of January that we were having a baby BOY.

Then finally on June 27th, 2013 we got to meet our little man! Aries Michael Moran was born at 8:11am, weighing in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces. It was love at first sight for sure.

Now not too long after that we had another addition to the family, only in a different way. Justin's mother Kim decided to join us and move to Ohio. Aries gets to see his grandmother everyday, and he is very attached to her.

Now time flies when you are having fun, and time did fly. Bottle after bottle, and day after day, our little man grew and our family got closer. Aries turned 3 months, went to the fair as a family, and went to see Ronald McDonald.

Then we all had a super fun Halloween!

Thanks Giving was fun, we all went to Kims and ate a huge meal. Then went Black Friday shopping for Christmas gifts.

Then we had a super fun Christmas! First we took Aries to see Santa!

We had our Christmas Eve at Kims house, and we all got wonderful gifts from each other. It was so much fun, especially Aries opening all his gifts.

Then Christmas day we were home opening gifts from Santa! I have to say we were all very spoiled.

I have to say over all this has been a pretty amazing year. So many changes and so many happy things. I am so excited to see what 2014 has in store for us!

Holiday Organization

Merry Christmas! Well, a few days ago anyways. Now that the holidays are over it is time to pack up all the pretty decor for next year. The first few days after Christmas I spend hitting up several stores to find great deals on wrapping paper, boxes, general decor, and some gifts for holidays in the next few months. This year I got 50 cent rolls of wrapping paper, I paid $5.25 for 30 pretty gift boxes, and unsure of how many or how much I spent on plain ones. We do gift boxes for adults when possible, because we tie closed with curling ribbon, and reuse the boxes each year, saving money and the environment. I got a few cute ornaments to add to our collection and a new star for the tree for only $5.

The tote pictured above is a new addition to our storage. A key factor in my opinion. No matter how we stored our wrapping paper it always got squished. Always. So we got three of these nice containers with clip on lids. The one pictured has roughly 30 rolls of wrapping paper in it, and I think I could squeeze a couple more in. I have another about half full of misc holiday wrap, like for birthdays.

This year we expanded from one tote of lights to two totes! I got some cute lighted garland for sale. This year I also printed off labels from my computer to show the holiday and the contents.

We actually have 3 of these smaller totes full of ornaments. Most of them are plastic, but some are still glass. Keeping them in smaller containers like this we don't use any wrap or padding, and they don't get broken. Plus since the totes say ornaments on them, people know to handle them carefully.

Another new addition this year was this card tote I got at Meijers. It was only $6. I labeled the top and front, and it worth the money already. I found random partial packs the cards all over in the Christmas decor. I was able to throw away all those packs, saving space, and easily find them all in one space.

We own a lot of just random decor too. Things such as stockings, stocking hooks, wall hangings, tree skirts, glass figurines, lawn decor, rugs, and place mats. So total we have two of these larger totes full.

Sadly, although everything you see is all organized, and ready to be put away for another year, I am positive there is more Christmas decor hidden in my storage unit, just waiting to be discovered.
