After being closed for two years Mercado Bom Sucesso has recently returned with a new face and concept and it has been organizing various workshops, classes and tasting sessions. One of them is this sushi workshop i attended today. The chef was very friendly and helpful, though it was a bit hard to ear him sometimes due to the noise. But overall was quite pleasant and learned way more than expected. Of course the best part was the sushi sample at the end, om nom nom ^^

Nunu Plushie

I knoooow, been slacking off xD But honestly i have a ton of things i wanna post, just haven't been in the mood. Anyways, recently made a plushie of the character Nunu from the game League of Legends. Actually made two of them, one as a birthday present and another one as a praxe related request. Why Nunu? Cuz that's me, i'm Nunu ^^ Damn how can i explain it xD It's some sort of nickname that was given to me inside the praxe, i guess i can say it like that... Oh well, here's a picture of Nunu bellow.

Does you think they look alike? :3 I guess the plushie turned out to be quite cute ^^

Found this sort of documentary/show a phew days ago that features an outsider from the cosplay culture who got curious about this activity and the reason why people do it and put so many effort on the outfits, so decides to dive directly into the cosplay world and starts discovering what it is all about. I find it quite interesting and funny, how he reacts to all the new adventures ahead of him ^^

You know that you've thought about doing it. Dressing up and acting as your favorite bad ass, your most admired musical performer or villain from a film. The mystery and wonderment that is cosplay has plagued Jordan for years but he's finally doing something about it! To get to the core of the motivation behind these fantasy seekers Jordan will have to immerse himself into the community and find out for himself if it's all the rage or just glorified Halloween.

Ezio Cosplay

Decided to start the Ezio cosplay by working on the belt insignia, i know it's one of the hardest parts but that's why i wanna do it first. Basically i'm just experimenting things, never done anything like this before so dunno what to expect of it xD But i guess it isn't turning out that bad, here's what i've done till now:

I'm guiding myself on the image bellow.

I'm sculpting this on some cheap clay i found on a local supermarket, dunno what type of clay it is or even if its appropriate to sculpt with but till now it seems fine. Here's what i've used till now.

Those toothpicks came quite in handy xD Some photos of the sculpting process bellow.

Does any of you have any experience with clay sculpting? If so then what tips can you give to a newbie like me? ^^

Assassin's Creed: Ezio Auditore Figure

Finally! My first figure! I'm so happy :D The force is strong with me now that i've Ezio by my side xD

Bought it for 23€ at Fnac, i guess it wasn't that expensive, although i think they should have done a better paint job, you can see what i mean on the picture bellow ( the throwing knifes and the shoulder part ).

Among all the Ezio figures on the shop at the time this was the one with the best paint job, i couldn't even bring myself to buy the white version cuz it looked so bad >___<

Also, the figure doesn't seem to have much mobility on the legs, could barely put him how he is in the picture bellow.

I wonder if it's just my impression, but the joints don't seem to easily allow me to move the members. I had to force them a bit sometimes, was even afraid i could break it >___< Huum but i suppose maybe it's a good thing? At least the body parts will stay were i want them to and don't fall xD

Overall i'm happy with my purchase and having loads of fun playing with Ezio ^^

Here are two versions of the song Kimi no Taion, one by Hatsune Miku and other by Nero. Although Miku's version is pretty good i personally like Nero version better. Which one does you prefer? ^^

Been having some ideas in mind of late, and finally decided to make them reality. I've always wanted to cosplay but never really had the iniciative or any experience with making clothes and working with other materials whatsoever. It was only about 2 years ago that i started making some experiments and since then i think i learned a phew things. Of course i still have a long way to go, but i'll eventually learn more as i work on it. So here's what's been on my mind:

Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

I have been a fan of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle for a long time now, and Fai is one of my favorite characters! I love how playful and funny he is but at the same time can also be serious, mysterious and powerful <3 And guess i love all the magician thing, they always look so awesome with those staffs and clothes xD Hum the most difficult thing about this character seems to be the staff, but dunno, we'll later see how it turns out.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin's Creed II

Oh Ezio, so many things to say about you and Assassin's Creed xD I don't even have words to express how much i love it, i can say it truly is by far the best game i have played in all my life, i'm completely addicted to it! And gosh i know that ezio will be a true challenge to bring to reality, because it involves much more than just making clothes, but still i just can't resist to at least try ahah

( By the way i've no clue why i want so much to cosplay as male characters xD ) Soooo these are the projects i want to be working on in the future. I have plenty of other characters i also want to cosplay but for me these two are a must so i'll work on them first. I'll try to share with you as much as i can of the process of making and hope to be able meet other cosplayers and exchange ideas ^^ Looking forward to it! Tokyo Fire Department held the annual New Year's debut ceremony. Had written something about this before on the Fire Brigade Unusual Ceremony post, but didn't knew it was a New Year's debut ceremony ^^' By the way, is it me or fireman's in Japan like to show of a bit? xD But it actually looks pretty cool! I guess they do it to attract more persons into becoming a fireman. A future fireman at 00:29 <3

Gosh i'm amazed, the power of makeup! Must learn how to do that xD They were already pretty but that made them look awesome, although i think maybe it's a little exaggerated, the eye lenses makes them have a not so natural look, but that's all ^^ Oh and the hosts were a bit rude sometimes, the girls are also very pretty without make up, they shouldn't despise their natural beauty.
