Alone With Chayanne.....What comes to your mind?

A Solas Con Chayanne (Alone with Chayanne)…is a phrase that makes me think of so many wonderful things. But the first thing that comes to my mind is love and romance. Chayanne is giving us a very special gift for Valentine's day as he releases his DVD and CD, A Solas Con Chayanne, which will be available on February 7th.

We all know that Chayanne is a synonym of romance. All of his songs tell a tale of that burning love, the one that was, the one that could have been, a pure love, and one that makes us scream with passion and happiness. It's so very difficult to choose one favorite song from Chayanne's infinite collection because each and every one of them drives us absolutely insane. The combination of the melody, his voice, the lyrics, and who can forget the way he adds his very own seal of seduction as he dances and moves his body with total perfection!

Chayanne's music provokes happiness, love, illusion, endearment, intrigue, magic and every single thing related to love. In his songs we find refuge and seek that dosage of inspiration that makes our days unforgettable. During rainy days, Chayanne lifts our spirits and at the same time gets us in a very romantic mood. During the hot days of summer his music energizes us and we celebrate one beautiful season full of sun, the ocean, and total hotness. And in the dead of winter there is absolutely nothing better than snuggling in front of a warm fireplace listening to Chayanne's music as we helplessly float on a cloud of love and seduction. And when our worlds seem to spin out of control and we just can't take it anymore, Chayanne's music gives us the gift of calm, harmony and we know deep in our hearts that everything is going to be just fine.

Here at Pandora's Caja we are having a Chayanne inspired Valentine's poetry contest which starts on January 23rd and ends on February 5th. I invite you to sit back, reminisce and think about how Chayanne's music has touched your life. Maybe it has helped you when you have been down in the dumps, or it has given you energy, or it has simply touched you in a special way. It really doesn't matter in which way Chayanne's music inspires you, what matters is that it does and you can put those sentiments in writing and participate in this special contest. You have nothing to loose because the first place winner will receive the DVD and CD, A Solas Con Chayanne (Alone with Chayanne), second place will receive the DVD and third place will receive the CD. And even if you are not one of the three winners, you are still a winner in Chayanne's heart because his music has inspired you beyond belief and that is the best gift a true fan can ever wish for.

It’s that time again! Pandora’s Caja is pleased to announce that we will be holding our Chayanne-Inspired Valentine’s Day Poetry Contest for the second year. After the success of last year’s contest where we received an overwhelming amount of entries, all beautiful in their own special way, and the great anticipation surrounding the release of A Solas Con Chayanne, we hope to encourage you all to participate this year.

One lucky poet will receive the grand prize of A Solas Con Chayanne Blue Ray DVD and Two Disk CD set. 2^nd place poet will receive the A Solas Con Chayanne Blue Ray DVD and 3^rd place poet will receive the Two Disk CD set.

All entries will be accepted from January 23^rd until February 5^th by midnight via pandorascaja@yahoo.com.

As the hands of time tick away, we say good bye to years gone by (both good and bad) and welcome the new with the highest of hopes that it will be the best year yet. For Chayanne fans, 2010 was pretty darn good. 2011 was awesome in deed as the tour was extended. And 2012? Well, as we told you before it is definitely starting off on the right foot. A new CD/DVD appropriately titled A Solas Con Chayanne (Alone With Chayanne).

Everything about Chayanne causes frenzy… and I mean EVERYTHING. Especially when you give us a title such as Alone With Chayanne. To say it boggles the mind with possible ____________ answers is to say the least! Chayanne’s fan troop took to Twitter to do just that. It really does seem like just yesterday, that I was writing Pandora's Caja New Year's post for 2010, preparing to herald in 2011. Now here we stand and waving goodbye to 2011 and looking forward into the unknown of 2012. This pas year gave us many things, some great and some.......but that's the nature and the way of things.

2011 was a year of incredible growth for Pandora's Caja, we have gained a new comadre in the cause, love you La Guerita Caprichosa, and my other sisters and myself had the privilege of bringing you another year of Chayanne. We do what we do out of friendship, love, and passion for Chayanne and all of his innumerable fans around the globe.

Bariloche, Fantasia, Candela, Glamour Girl, and La Guerita Caprichosa......My sisters in the cause and my friends. I could never have asked for a better group of people to work with. Finding one person that will be willing to show the amount of dedication and love to a dream, a vision, that did not begin as their own is a one in a million chance. But to find five.....I have been blessed beyond my most cherished imaginings. As writers I hope that the knew year brings us continued fulfillment bringing all that's current and good to our readers. As my sisters in the journey of life I have no doubt that the New Year will see us further into our respective journeys of self-discovery.

I always knew that Chayanne was a romantic, that could never be denied, but for him to think of me, I mean us *wink*, every Valentine's Day never ceases to amaze me.

Valentine's Day 2012 will be no exception, why? Because apparently Chayanne will be releasing a CD AND DVD titled "A Solas con Chayanne" (Alone With Chayanne)....doesn't the title alone make you want to melt? The listed release date on Amazon will be February 7, 2012.

I have to give all credit to Fantasia Chayan for her never ending "Super Sleuthing" skills! (That's the way Guajira's do it!)

Friends, 2011 is almost over and I have great news about about the one and only, our adorable Chayanne!! Our favorite singer, Chayanne, has maintained the #1 spot for the past 19 weeks in Latin Ranking with one of his greatest songs, Siento, from his latest album "No Hay Imposibles". David Bisbal is trailing very close and that is why I am asking you to please vote for our sexy Chayanne so that he can end the year in the number one spot as he so much deserves it!

No one knows better than us, his fans, how hard he worked this past year and it would be so amazing if he could finish up 2011 with one of his beautiful songs in the number one spot.

What would Christmas and New Years be with out a seasons greeting from Chayanne? Oh yes, the holiday would go on, but it would be sorely lacking for Chayanne fans around the globe.

But I also have to pose the question, "When did Chayanne ever know that his fans were in anticipation of something special from him and he not deliver? The answer is NEVER!

This holiday season in no different. Chayanne sent out a Tweet message as well as an email message to all of his fans wishing us a "Feliz Navidad y Prospero Ano".

Thank you Chayanne for making everyday feel like Christmas.

These are some incredible shots of Chayanne and his lovely family spending some well deserved quality time. What's so cool about all of it, is that they are genuinely happy....that means to all you nay sayers out there who are always trying to digg up dirt....give it a rest and go have some eggnog or something.

All of you know I don't speak Spanish, but I put the Google translation of the captions that were with the pictures on Univision. However....I also included the Pandoraese translations of some of the captions.

The truth is that very few, very few times we see Chayanne interacting with his family.

The paparazzi came up with the perfect hideaway to catch photos of celebrities, those with children, of course. Whenever we see him dancing and on stage. This time he stopped to photograph next to his wife and children.

But do not be fooled. Chayanne is one woman man

Chayanne is a very disciplined man, his relatives say that at least makes a workout and dance 8 hours a day.

All is Quiet With Chayanne.....Or Is It?

On the surface it has seemed that Chayanne has settled down into a state of well deserved relaxation, peace and quiet, and well deserved time with his family. I have no doubt that he's enjoying all of these things, but it seems that beneath the tranquil surface, there are stirrings of a VERY welcomed kind.

Let me preface this next paragraph by saying that IF there is news out there about Chayanne...Fantasia Chayan will find it! She had earned the title "Super Sleuth 2011". The other day Fantasia saw a tweet from the world renowned mastering engineer Michael Fuller of Fullersound, Inc.

Michael Fuller's tweet read, and I quote "new mastering for @CHAYANNEMUSIC Live album on @SonyMusicLatin"

On December 9, 2011 at 12:40 pm EST Fantasia Chayan of Pandora's Caja broke the news on FB! That made for an exciting Friday!

So what exactly is it to "master music"? I can tell you that until Friday, I had no idea what this actually meant myself, so I did the only natural thing, I searched the internet.

I could be totally wrong, but.....it would seem logical to me that the only live music that Chayanne has done recently would of course be from his very recently concluded "No Hay Imposible" tour.......and yes what an amazing way that would be to to start the new year with a live recording of the tour (Chayanne, It would really be a great Valentine's Day gift to have "No Hay Imposibles Live" on DVD!.....I'm just sayin')

So with that said....just because it seems quiet doesn't mean there's nothing going on....it just means we need to learn to listen just a little more carefully.

2012 Premio Lo Nuestro Nominations Are Out And Chayanne Is In!

Of course Chayanne is in there! What kind of Latin music awards would the Premios be if Chayanne were not among the nominees. Our job fans is to vote Chayanne from the place of a nominee, to the winner.

Chayanne has been nominated in the Pop category for "Male Artist of The Year". Chayanne shares this honorwith such heavy hitters as Carlos Baute, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin. All of the nominees are amazing, but Chayanne's star shines the brightest.

Thankfulness That Last For More Than A Moment

This has been a year overflowing with things to be thankful for. I could say that one of the memories that is the expression of my gratitude, is witnessing first hand one of the most amazing tours of the year. That however would only scratch the surface of what I would classify as a most cherished memory.

My most cherished memories would have to be of the extremely warm comradery that has been and continues to be shared between Chayanne's fans around the globe. I have memories of the pictures, tweets, text messages, Facebook and Myspace posts that fans from the Unites States to China posted of their favorite moments of "No Hay Imposibles.

My personal favorite memory, would have to be meeting Chayanne for the very first time. What made meeting him so special isn't getting an up close and personal glace and his staggering good looks. It was being able to meet the person who through his music has given me so many wonderful moments.

Chayanne~ Thank you for all the time, passion, and energy that you have given over this past year. Please give our thanks to your wonderful family for sharing you with us in the many years prior, this year and in the many years to come. We know you're already working on you new album, and so we are thankful for the sweet anticipation that is to come. Every year I like to take the time to let all of you know how very thankful I am for each and every one of you. Those of you that I know and those of you that as of yet I have not had the pleasure of knowing. I think I can speak for myself and all the ladies of the Caja when I say that we are thankful for all of your support, comments and feedback that you continue to give to us on a daily basis.

I'm most thankful for my family, my children and my sisters in the cause, Bariloche, Fantasia Chayane, Candela Spirit, and La Guerita Caprichosa.....It's just getting ready to get REALLY good.

With that said, being thankful is not reserved for this one day of the year, true thankfulness will leave it's mark until the end of eternity. If you haven't done so already, acknowledge your blessings and be thankful.

In the past few days, it's been alleged that Chayanne will be making an appearance in Iquique and at the Vina del Mar Festival in Chile, but they are just that... allegations. Chayanne's team issued the following press release today to put an end to the rumors:

No Hay Imposibles, the triumphant tour by the music icon Chayanne has just come to a close with great success.

After intense months of preparation during 2009, the tour opened in March 2010 and traveled through Latin America, The United States, The Caribbean, and Spain until it closed in October 2011.

It is estimated that over 4.5 million people enjoyed the show of the Puertorrican singer, in 127 shows which were performed night after night, week after week, by a dynamic and romantic Chayanne, who accompanied by his band of 10 professional musicians, 8 dancers and a team of 40 people, excelled for each show to be the best.

We’d like to inform that Chayanne will not be in Iquique or the festival in Vina Del Mar, as it’s been stated by some publications in the last few days. For now, he will take a well deserve break and plan for the future.

Chayanne In Flashback! Circa 1998: Guajira

I'm sitting here thinking over the last year and a half, and one of my favorite memories comes to my mind. Go back with me if you will prior to the start of Chayanne's 2010-2011 NHI Tour. In preparation for the tour, Chayanne send out a tweet telling fans that he's listening to songs that he might use on the tour and asks what songs fans would like to hear on the tour.

Well....I did exactly what any Chayanne fan would do.......I got on Twitter and let my fingers tweet as fast as they could and submitted my choice, "Guajira" of course! (Now let me clarify, my all time favorite song is "Te Echo de Menos", but he did that song in his last concert as part of a medley. But "Guajira" hasn't been heard performed live in ages.) I was Über excited to cast my vote, but I really didn't think it would amount to much after I saw that about a gazillion (is that a word) fans were tweeting the same time as I was. I perused the list of responses and I didn't see where anyone else had mention "Guajira". After that I kind of dismissed it and thought to myself that Chayanne would never use that song for this tour.

Yes this is my favorite still from the video...I dream that it's me *wink*

Long story short....Chayanne did use "Guajira", and I got to hear it live for the first time over the phone as my amigocha Rosalita (Guajira Chicas To The Bone!) called me from the concert to let me hear it. It was all I could do to keep from screaming and waking up my entire house hold.

Chayanne - Entrevista en HTV – 1998

"I had never worked in Black and White before, and that is something different that seemed very nice on the part of [my apologies to the person he names, but I can't make it out... perhaps the director of the video shoot? Can anyone help fill this in?] It was good that it was something new that I was doing.

There is no choreography of any type, which usually I put in some type of choreography. There are absolutely no dancers. What is used is more of the photography model. It is very fresh, not so stylized... the video is somewhat relaxed.

The straw hat gives you more freedom, it makes you more casual. There are a lot of details that I had not used in previous videos. The model is the same... the singer is the same, which is me (laughs), but obviously with the years of experience you deposit that in the newer projects.

There was an amusing experience in making the video. One of the (male) models had to pour coconut water onto one of the (female) models, and we had to repeat that several times... it was amusing.

Well, the hardest part I can tell you was the scorching sun that was out that day. It was brutal. One of those that you feel like your skull is going to crack open and you have to close it back up. (laughs) But the other thing was the trip to get there we had to pass through the Everglades and there were a whole lot of alligators, no, but no, that depends also on how you take things. You know that you have a job to do, you have to work and there are sacrifices that go with that, it is normal. I am very playful because I have a lot of fun in my career."

If you are anything like me dear readers, I know you too are both celebrating yet saddened by the end of Chayanne’s highly successful NHI tour. That means no more pictures, no more clips of the live show, no more news paper articles describing the euphoria of being a witness to his magnificent show... But alas, this also means that soon we will have new material to dance and sing along to… maybe a new series to watch? With someone as talented as Chayanne, you never know what you will see next; you only know it will be AMAZING for sure.

So… What are we to do? Sit around twiddling our thumbs until something new comes up (which is kind of like watching a pot of water boil)? Keep a watchful eye on Chayanne’s posts on Twitter? There are many things you can do, but here is Pandora’s Caja four main Recipes to survive this Off-Tour Season.

Recipe #1: Start Your Own Complete Chayanne Collection

Just because we have new amazing material doesn’t mean the old should be forgotten. Listen to Chayanne’s discography from the start… And I mean the start. As in baby Chay singing “Mama Mia” with Los Chicos. There is nothing better than to relax with music. I personally turn on Chayanne’s discography on those days at work when I simply cannot take it any more (which lately has been pretty frequently). And no matter how busy or upset I am regarding something at work, when “Fiesta in America” starts to play on my iPod. I stop. I smile. And try very hard to not get up and dance. J

After the Cautivo/Mi Tiempo Tour finished, I spent most of my time scouring the internet for treasures missing from my collection. You’ll be amazed at the things you’ll find. I am pretty sure that I am the proud owner of a COMPLETE Chayanne Discography. Through my search I discovered Japan’s release of Atado a Tu Amor (which I bought, and being a Japan lover, I am stoked that I have one of the best album with all the writing in Japanese and even a “How To dance Salsa” pamphlet, that came with the purchase of the album). I also have the Album that was released in Australia. Versions of Albums from Brazil and Argentina… the original LPs of Los Chicos and the first 2 albums (before CDs existed). All in all, I just want you to experience the same thrill I felt at finding these treasures and proudly owning them now! Start your researching! Ebay and Amazon were very helpful for me but I bought many things from private collection websites you can find through any search engine.

*In your search for valuables, I hope you keep true to your morals and say NO! to piracy. Chayanne would not want you to have his complete collection that way. J

Recipe #3: Do Some Good in The World

This recipe has absolutely nothing to do with Chayanne. Being the amazing person that he is, he has always encouraged those around him and his fans to participate in charitable organizations and events to help those in greater need than ourselves. Take his example and see if you can participate in any For the Cure walks (Cancer, Diabetes, AIDS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s all come to mind). Clean out your closets and donate your gently worn clothes and shoes to those in need. The winter is almost here. I am sure there are many who will benefit greatly from your gently used outer wear. Why not spend a few hours a week at a local shelter giving cats and dogs the much needed love they need? It will feel great and you will be an even more amazing person for it.

Recipe #4: Stay Connected!

Chayanne fans are among the tightest group of women I have ever witnessed. I have seen great friendships come from participating in chats, posting on the Chayanne.com forum (like Pandora’s and mine, xoxox!), Twitter and Facebook groups. Don’t let your participation drop with this off-tour season! Besides, who else will understand the withdrawal process that you are about to go through? Definitely NOT your husbands and/or boyfriends. I guarantee you that. DO NOT look to them for sympathy (LOL). Instead rely on the great friends you’ve met through your computer screens. October 29, at the Auditorio la Guelaguetza, in Oaxaca, Mexico Chayanne ended his 18 month run of "No Hay Imposibles. I didn't have the pleasure of being at the last show, but from the looks of the pictures, the tweets, and video uploads, Chayanne ended his tour the EXACT same way that he started it.....HARD CORE!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours that landed on Billboard's "Top Ten Tours" every week that they had a show. Can your mind wrap itself around that? REALLY? That means that of all the tours being held over the last 18 months that NHI placed in the top ten based on Total Gross, Show Dates, Show Venue/City (Shows/Sellouts), Total Attendance (Capacity).

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that there have been very few concert tours where there has been such a strong sense of connection from the artist, to the dancers, the musicians, crew and the fans. Thanks to the advances of the social media outlets, we were able to share tweets and videos from Chayanne and Nancy's behind the scenes clips, to the very well put together video clips made by the dancers.(Belly Buttons don't die! They multiply!)

I know I can speak for myself, my very dear friend Anniee Renes of Chayanne Rocks, and the incredible ladies of Pandora's Caja when I say that we had a blast with Nancy O'Meara and her first ever fan driven interview. Nancy you are amazing....and you Dazzle! Our interviews with Brandon Barton and Marcus E. Mitchell (go ahead and scream they are super fine hotties!)

Pandora's Caja over the last year has been a blast! It started out with just me and now I have the great pleasure of working along side five incredible sister's in the cause, Bariloche, Candela, Fantasia Chayane (who almost single handedly makes Pandora's Caja page on FB run like a well oiled machine! Besos!) Glamour Girl, and La Guerita. These ladies are the heartbeats of the box.

Yesterday Chayanne sent this beautiful message to his fans via twitter and email:

"Today I share with you a sense of excitement and gratitude. "No Hay Imposibles" (Nothing is Impossible), my tour, has just ended and I'm happy to have shared it with you, in every country, every city, in every heart. Only your love, your energy and your support makes it possible for me to be there for you.

For over a year and a half I enjoyed every loving detail I received on stage, in hotels, airports, wherever I went. It is a sign of your affection and you're all very well loved in return. I'd also like to thank the media from all around for their support and respect. Now begins a new phase for me and new projects, which I will soon be sharing with you.

It's really hard to believe that it's been four years since "Chayanne es Gabriel" rocked the socks off of it's viewers. For us as Chayanne fans, what would this time of year be without our trusty "Gabriel" DVD!

What's even more amazing is that "Chayanne es Gabriel is still making notables lists. There was a really great article that came out today on "My San Antonio", called "Latinos on strong list of horror movies", and Gabriel was on the list...of course!

Most of the time when we blog on Pandora's Caja we do our utmost best to bring you really cool, but relevant information. But, there are also times when we just want to gab! For me this is one of those times.

Last week there was this incredible picture of Chayanne with Carolina Ibarra, host of "La Casa Del Pop" (The House of Pop) to promote Chayanne's appearance on her show that was scheduled for tonight October 24, 2011 on channel 70 of Cablevision, frequency 501 digital, 269 DirectTv.

In my opinion there are only three things better than listening to Chayanne giving an interview, meeting him in person, seeing him perform live.....and a REALLY great piece of chocolate (I happen to think Chayanne is a REALLY great piece of chocolate, but I digress)

Chayanne has so much personality! You don't have to understand a word to know that he's the most adorable man on the planet.(I promise I'm working on learning Spanish!) Early this morning Onda aired a prerecorded interview with Chayanne (Hopefully we will be able to bring you the full translation as well). In the mean time here is a translation of the promo-clip.

Basically the Houston Chronicle article lists, what is in this writers opinion the 10 movies with the best dance moves, and "Dance With Me" was the first on the list, and why wouldn't it be. I have articles like this before, and "Dance With Me" rarely fails to make the cut. This is a dance film that's destined to stand the tests of time. If you watched the movie upon it's initial release in 1998 , or if you caught it over this past summer on HBO, the choreography is still fresh and current.

Now I will say that the writer doesn't make any suggestion that the movies are in any particular sort of order, but in my Chayanne loving mind there must be some sort of subconscious hierarchy at work here.

Chayanne: (On phone) Patty? Yes, look. Something happened. I'm here at a young lady's house, who by the way is very strong! We had a problem with the car, and all of the guys are outside, I came in to ask to use the phone. Now, I'm not sure exactly where we are, and... and that's it... can you come and get me, or send me another car?

(Maria practices dance moves)

Chayanne: (Finishing phone call) That's fine. Say hello to Monica. Bye, bye.

Maria: Did you call? Everything alright?

Chayanne: Yes.

Maria: I was practicing a little bit, like your moves...

Chayanne: Yes, yes. Do you want to come to the show? I'll invite you to the show... we are performing the 20^th, 21^st, 23^rd, and 24^th...

Maria: and the 24^th, yes, I know, I read it in the newspaper, you'll be at Luna Park.

If you were like me and tuned in to last nights episode of "Charlie's Angels", you were probably a bit disappointed. I watched the entire episode and no Chayanne, no "Por Esa Mujer"!

This morning I was super excited to find out that Glamour Girl was on the case and found the Charlie's Angel video clip with Chayanne and "Por Es Mujer". The song actually aired on the September 29th episode of the show titled "Runway Angels". The version of "Por Esa Mujer" is the club remix that was part of the "No Hay Imposibles" Ticket Plus. You should hear the song on or about 6:07 on the video marker.

I'm not sure if the song is going to be a part of the show on a weekly basis as first circulated in the news. I'm getting the feeling that is was just for this episode....but a fan can hope can't she *wink*

Chayanne's Voice Heralds Charlie's Angels

When I heard that there was going to be a remake of the hit television show Charlie's Angels, which aired from 1976-1981 I was intrigued to say the least. When I was younger (how much younger is irrelevant *wink*) I watched Charlie's Angles faithfully.....I wanted to be Sabrina Duncan (Kate Jackson), she was beautiful and intelligent.

I knew I was going to at least catch a few episodes...but NOW I'm going to be tuning in every Thursday so I can hear Chayanne's voice singing "Por Esa Mujer", for his most recent album "No Hay Imposibles".

If this new cast is the re-boot of Charlie's Angels then Chayanne's voice is going to be the nitrous that pushed this thing over the top.....at least in my book.....
.....and several other million people the world over.

Wise gives rhythm to “Charlie's Angels” with the voice of Chayanne

The ABC network has chosen the song “Por Esa Mujer” by Puerto Rican composer Wise and with the voice of Chayanne for the new, modern version of the popular television series “Charlie's Angels.”

“Por esa mujer” is part of the projects that the talented songwriter has written in their entirety, developing the perfect rhythms and sounds for his composition.

The public will be able to enjoy the modern version of the television program every Thursday at 8:00 pm on ABC.

The so-called “Pen of Gold” who became well known in the Reguetón genre, is enjoying a spectacular moment in his career.

He is currently working on the details of his new album, the first single of which, “La Botella,” is being promoted.

A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words, Chayanne In Luna Park, The Study of a Picture

When you look at the photo albums on Pandora's Caja on Facebook, you probably looking at the work of Fantasia Chayan. I really don't think that there is anyone else who can find and post pictures better or faster. Bravo! While looking at the photo album that she made, "Chayanne en el Luna Park" I came across a picture that just stuck with me.

This picture screamed "Time Life Magazine", the way Chayanne is in the foreground, and the wash of the fans in the back ground....this picture seems to encapsulate the love affair that Chayanne has with his fans.

James Brown long carried the moniker "The Hardest Working Man In Show Business", I think that title should be passed on to Chayanne. There are very few artists that give of themselves so freely and to this extent.

In my opinion Chayanne should have not only been on the cover ob Billboard this past year, but many, many others. I think this way not because he is talented, hot, with a killer smile (Ok...that's a part of it I confess *WINK*) but because he is as wonderful a person in real life as he gives on stage......and that's what you get when you see this picture.

I wonder what it would take for Time Life to do an entire spread on Chayanne......hmmmmm it's something to think about...

Today, our dear Chayanne sent out a tweet that totally made my day!! The song that we have all been waiting for, "Amorcito Corazón", is out and you can purchase the mp3 in Amazon.com. Needless to say I already purchased it and it's in my ipod for my listening pleasure.

Let me tell you a little bit more about this beautiful song. This Mexican song was written by Pedro de Urdimalas (lyrics) and Manuel Esperon (music). It was originally used for a film named "Nosotros Los Pobres" (We the Poor)and it was performed by the legendary Pedro Infante and the beautiful Blanca Estela Pavon back the 1940's. "Amorcito Corazón" is one of the most recognizable songs of Mexican cinema, especially in the so-called golden age. The scene in the woodwork when Pedro Infante singing "Amorcito Corazón" has been parodied countless times in films and Mexican television.

Let's travel back in time together and watch this famous scene with the talented Pedro Infante singing "Amorcito Corazón".

Today, 70 years later, it is Chayanne's turn to sing this beautiful song and after listening to it I know Chayanne has made the writers and Pedro Infante very proud. Every song that Chayanne sings just flows in a way that you can't help but to stop everything you are doing and listen because his voice is mesmerizing.

Now all that's left to make me totally happy is that the soap opera is aired in the U.S as well, not because I am interested in watching it, but because I would tune in just to listen to Chayanne singing the theme song every single day!

Cordoba & Junin Rocked!!! -- NHI Tour Update

Chayanne is back with his NHI 2011 Tour and he does not disappoint this time around either. The chosen stage for his comeback is Argentina. On the 14th, 10,000 Argentineans came together at the Orfeo Theater in Cordoba to be delighted by Chayanne’s infectious rhythm. As in all his concerts he sang many of his classics, Provocame, Salome, Caprichosa, and Atado a tu Amor, paired together with songs from his latest album No Hay Imposibles.

Following his success in Cordoba, Chayanne moved on to the Estadio del Club Atletico Sarmiento de Junin, where again, approximately 10,000 people gathered just for him.
