Panorama showing a view down the nave of St Peter's Basilica in Rome. The images were taken balancing the camera on a wooden barrier with long exposures. One of the first times I tried this technique, and the resulting picture gives an impression of the vast size of the church.

Panorama taken inside Santa Maria Maddalena church near to the Pantheon in Rome. The picture, taken near the front of the aisle, shows the high altar and some of the frescoes adorning the two foremost side altars.

Panorama taken inside Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. The picture was taken balancing the camera on the back of a prayer rail near the front of the church. As a result, the rail has a break in it. The image shows the papal altar, highly decorated ceiling and a view down the central aisle.
