HELLO DEAR FRIENDS

As you can all tell the 420 game is clearly changing and although there will be growing pains there will also be the biggest revolution in 420 accessories and consumption in history! It is taking place right now. Have you seen things like this yet? (compliments of Breath Of Life Delivery )

Hello Friends,

Some of you are avid readers of the blog, some just come by to check out a recipe here and there or learn a little about cannabis. Whatever it may be, please read this.

The Medical Cannabis community has been squelched.

In the past 60 days I would say that 95% of collectives have had to shut down, close their doors and stop providing medicine to cancer patients, AIDS patients, anorexic patients, and literally millions of others.

Sadness arises from within my soul knowing that this holiday season many will be without their Christmas tree weed, Elf Kief, Reindeer edibles, and stocking wax.

This entire month of collectives closing comes from a single fundamental lie. The definition of a Schedule 1 Drug is as follows on the DEA website.

Schedule I Controlled Substances

Substances in this schedule have a high potential for abuse, have no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, and there is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.
Some examples of substances listed in schedule I are: heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), peyote, methaqualone, and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (“ecstasy”).

Which one of the these isn't like the others? The one that's highlighted is what I was going for here.

Now that we have long lists illustrating the medical benefits of cannabis proven by colleges, government, universities, private studies, and objective labs it is clear that for that reason alone, Cannabis does not fit the "Schedule 1" Definition.

If Cannabis were a Schedule 2 drug.

It would be in Pharmacies.

Stop the lies.

Federal Government Says Dispensaries shut down in 45 Days

Feds said today they would shut down all cannabis clubs in California, Colorado and other states with pot shops.

First came the letters on Wednesday ordering landlords to evict the collectives or risk

imprisonment
forfeiture of property
forfeiture of all rent collected during term of rent

Even collective who have been paying state and federal taxes for upwards of 15 years will be shut down. For those not interested in closing their doors the threat of federal raids, prosecution, and forfeiture of assets are a real concern.

Personally I expect many collectives to close their doors but retain the space. The operation of dispensing cannabis medicine will quickly become a delivery based service.

Recent raids in Montana reportedly were executed by the FBI, IRS, and EPA working in unison.

We must stand together, I dont have a plan, but I have a dream of Safe Access to Medical Marijuana!

I found some very interesting information about how hemp was used to clean up Chernobyl after the nuclear fallout and how it might be used to clean up Japan's recent tragedy.

Hemp is being used for many different aspects of phytoremediation or the betterment of the ecosystem.

Hemp plants are used to fix radioactive situations by removing toxins (phytoextraction)

Hemp breaks them down to non toxic forms (phytotransformation)

Hemp is used to enhance microbial activity in the soil (phytostimulation)

Hemp prevents the leaching of the dangerous contaminates into deeper soils and downstream (phytostabilization).

What are the chances that Hemp would be the absolute best for this? Who knows, but it is. Strongest fiber, best fabric, lowest environmental effect, greatest number of industrial uses, fights radiation... What cant this plant cannabis do?

Canna-Clam Chowder

Canna-Clam Chowder

Delicious and traditional white clam chowder with canna-butter included for a healthy influx of cannabinoids.

Ingredients

3 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams

1 cup minced onion

1 cup diced celery

2 cups cubed potatoes

1 cup diced carrots

1 cup canna-butter

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 quart half-and-half cream

3 strips of bacon

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

ground black pepper to taste

Tools

Sauce pan
Large pot

Method

Drain juices from clam cans into a large pan on top of the onions, celery, bacon, carrots, and potatoes. Add water to cover the vegetables. Cook on medium until tender.

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, melt the canna-butter over medium. Whisk in the flour until smooth. Add and whisk cream, stir nonstop until thick and smooth. Add vegetables and clam juice. Heat, but do not boil.

Add clams and let simmer for a few more minutes. Dont let them cook long or they will become tough, add vinegar, and season with salt and pepper.

Legal California Hemp Bill - SB 676

Existing law makes it a crime to engage in any of various transactions relating to marijuana, as defined, except as otherwise authorized by law, such as the Medical Marijuana Program. For the purposes of these provisions, marijuana is defined as not including the mature stalks of the plant, fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the mature stalks, except the resin extracted therefrom, and fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination.

This bill would revise the definition of marijuana so that the term would exclude industrial hemp, as defined, except where the plant is cultivated or processed for purposes not expressly allowed. The bill would define industrial hemp as a fiber or oilseed crop, or both, that is limited to the nonpsychoactive types of the plant Cannabis sativa L. and the seed produced therefrom, having no more than 310 of 1% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) contained in the dried flowering tops, and that is cultivated and processed exclusively for the purpose of producing the mature stalks of the plant, fiber produced from the stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of the plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the mature stalks, except the resin or flowering tops extracted therefrom, fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination.

The bill would enact certain provisions relating to growing industrial hemp which would apply only in Imperial, Kern, Kings, San Joaquin, and Yolo Counties and which would be operative only until January 1, 2020. The bill would require the person growing the industrial hemp to obtain, prior to the harvest of each crop, a laboratory test of a random sample of the crop to determine the amount of THC in the crop. The bill would require that samples to perform the testing be taken in the presence of, and be collected and transported only by, an employee or agent of a laboratory that is registered with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. The bill would require that the test report contain specified language, that the testing laboratory provide not less than 10 original signed copies to the cultivator, and that the testing laboratory and cultivator retain an original signed copy for a minimum of 2 years. The report would be required to be made available to law enforcement officials and provided to purchasers, as specified. The bill would require all industrial hemp seed sold for planting in California to be from a crop having no more than 310 of 1% THC contained in a random sampling of the dried flowering tops and tested under these provisions, and would require the destruction of crops exceeding that content, as specified.

The bill would provide that growing industrial hemp shall not be construed to authorize the possession, outside of a field of lawful cultivation, of resin, flowering tops, or leaves that have been removed from the hemp plant, except to perform required testing by an employee or agent of the testing laboratory or any cultivation of the industrial hemp plant that is not grown by an established agricultural research institution. This bill would require the Attorney General and the Hemp Industries Association to submit reports to the Legislature by January 1, 2018, regarding the economic and law enforcement impacts of industrial hemp cultivation.

The bill would state the findings and declarations of the Legislature relating to industrial hemp.

By revising the scope of application of existing crimes relating to marijuana, this bill would impose a state?mandated local program.

By specifying the conditions of cultivation, the violation of which would be a misdemeanor pursuant to other provisions of existing law, this bill would impose a state-mandated local program.

The California Constitution requires the state to reimburse local agencies and school districts for certain costs mandated by the state. Statutory provisions establish procedures for making that reimbursement.

This bill would provide that no reimbursement is required by this act for a specified reason.

Bird Watcher Falsely Arrested for Felony Possession for Sage

Robin Brown, a 49 year old quiet woman went on a normal everyday outing to watch some birds. When she got back to her car there were cops there waiting for her. They questioned her as to what she was doing and finally she felt obligated to prove she was watching birds by opening her backpack and showing them her barnoculars. The police saw a bundle of sage and proceeded to question her.

Field tests indicated that the sage was in fact a naturally growing herb which is all their test is good enough to tell. She was released after the questioning.

A few months later officers arrested her in an embarrassing ordeal at her office and without doing further testing on the sage for felony marijuana possession charges.

Her lawyer requested they test the sage prior to court... after which charges were dropped. Obviously.

Another sad case.

MMJ Groups Sue Federal Government to Force THC Rescheduling

May 23, 2011 is a day to remember. The cannabis grassroots communities of ASA, CRC, and Patients out of time have united with the previous assertions by the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians in a lawsuit against the United States government to forcibly reclassify cannabis to a schedule 3 drug rather than the schedule 1 it currently holds. Schedule 1 means there is no medical use and it has a high propensity for abuse.

In a confusing twist - laboratories and pharmaceutical companies have been creating synthetic THC for years. Synthetic/fake THC is called dronabinol (Schedule 3 - Medical use with low propensity for abuse) The DEA accepted a petition in 2002 that would make cannabis a schedule 3 as well. "On average, it takes 6 months from HHS review to final action, whereas it's been nearly 5 years since HHS issued its recommendation on the CRC petition, more than twice as long as any other rescheduling petition reviewed since 2002."(Wiki)

To push the obama administration to answer the decade old petition to reclassify medical marijuana patients and patient advocacy groups have united and filed suit in the Washington DC Circuit Court on May 23. There is massive evidence to corroborate their case including peer reviewed scientific studies, the proven long term non dangerousness of the drug as well as its unbelievable effectiveness.

Although the feds have held their position, 16 states as well as the District of Colombia have decriminalized cannabis. The DEA's own Administrative Law Judge Francis Young recommended in favor of reclassification stating that, "Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man." Beyond that, some national polls have shown that upwards of 80% of Americans are in favor of reclassification and decriminalization.

If the case is questioned in its efficacy marijuana will be finally proven in federal court as an effective and therapeutic drug, it is is not challenged.. it will be accepted in court as an effective and therapeutic drug... Both GREAT options!

Main Ingredients

1 cup Peanut Butter
1 cup Cannabutter
1 lb Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Tools
8 x 8 Pan
Small Pot
Silicon Spatula
Storage Container
Mixing Spoon (wooden or plastic)
Mixing Bowl

Method
Melt the Cannbutter in the Small pot stirring often. Once melted add the Peanut butter and stir until completely combined. Place the Cannabutter and Peanut Butter mixture in the mixing bowl and add the Powdered Sugar and Vanilla. Stir until smooth.

Once smooth pour your mixture into the buttered 8 x 8 pan and use the spatula to get it all in. Once in the pan place saran wrap over it and place in the fridge for a few hours. Cut into 1" squares and serve with a warning.

Enjoy your Cannabis Marijuana Peanut Butter Fudge. A delicious alternative to using chocolate! I found a 1" square to be a good Dose which makes 64 doses but this depends on the potency of your butter.

Amazing Crock Pot Cannabis Tincture

Crock Pot Cannabis Tincture

This recipe is for a fully activated cannabis tincture. Place a few drops under the tongue to be immediately felt. If swallowed it will subsequently be absorbed by the body in the GI tract but will take longer.

Ingredients (Increase the recipe by 8.5ml glycerin per gram)

1/4 oz well ground high quality cannabis

1 cup food grade Vegetable Glycerin (commonly found at drugstores and pharmacies)

Tools

Cheesecloth

Crock pot

A glass dropper bottle (for dosing)

Method

Grind the cannabis as finely as possible and place it in the cold crock pot, pour over the Glycerin and stir it all together.

Place the top on the crock pot and begin heating it, start with low for the first half hour. Stir every 10 minutes with a whisk really whisking it up. Drop the temperature to warm and let the mixture cook for 6 hours or longer whisking often. Everyone's crock pot is different, so if you feel that you are loosing steam add more glycerin, also, if it is too hot, turn it to warm 15 minutes then off for 45, warm for 15, off for 45.

Once your mixture is through cooking, pour it through cheesecloth and into a bowl. After you have poured it through squeeze the excess from the cheesecloth careful not to break it. I will suggest using gloves for this, however I didn't and I will assure you, this stuff can go through your skin and make you Super Stoned. Just a heads up.

OK, so here is what I got out of my experiment, a dark green vicious fluid that 1/2 teaspoon is equivalent to 3 Marinol pills. It is way better though since it contains the other 69 cannabinoid types as well.

My buddy who has a prescription for and takes Marinol on a daily basis came by and bottomed up a 1/2 teaspoon. Below is how he described the effects of the glycerin as it compares to Marinol.

5 minutes in he said he felt it in his face, pulling a smile and relaxed eyebrows
15 minutes in he said that it is the equivalent to 3 Marinol pills, he usually only takes two
30 minutes in he said that he could feel it and it was much more rounded or complete than he experienced with Marinol, he said it felt like an edible but in a very manageable dose
1 hour later he wanted to know how I made the stuff
3 hours later he said he still felt good but the effects were beginning to become less noticeable
5 hours later he said the effects were gone and he felt great, not too tired and not weird.

SO I think that High speed extraction of THC can be done using Vegetable glycerin in a double boil and perhaps a Crock Pot. below is a picture of the cannabis after the experiment

It appeared to me that there was still THC on the plant material, so I cooked it in butter for a few hours and made some mac and cheese. It definitely still held some THC because I got extremely high but I believe that a longer period in the glycerin or a fruit press for extraction would be needed to be sure.

Lab Results - Success - 5 drops and I was feeling great

Serving size - 6

Main Ingredients

1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon wine
1-1/2 teaspoons butter
1- teaspoons all-purpose flour
3 ounces Gruyere cheese, cubed
3 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
3 ounces Emmentaler cheese, cubed
2 grams cannabis for strong dose

Tools

Small whisk
Cheese Grater
Small pot
Medium saucepan

Method

Grate the cheese.

Bring the wine to a boil in a small pot. Melt the butter in the medium saucepan, whisk in the flour and cook for a few minutes stirring constantly (don't let the butter burn).

When the wine boils add it to the flour and butter mixture. Slowly add the grated Gruyere, Cheddar, and Emmentaler cheeses. Stir until fully melted. Add the cannabis and on very low heat stir often for Five minutes.

Most common is to dip cubed french bread toasted, mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower.

Keep Warm And Enjoy!

Chronic Snack Mix

8-10 servings

Main Ingredients
3/4 cup Thin pretzel sticks
1/2 cup Cannabutter
1 Clove of Garlic crushed
1/2 cup Almonds
1/2 cup Pine nuts.
1/2 cup unsalted cashews.
1 tsp of Worcester sauce.
1 tsp Curry Powder
1/2 tsp Hot chili powder
1/8 cup Raisins (optional)

Tools
Large Skillet
Storing Container
Mixing Spoon (wooden or plastic)

Method
Place the skillet on medium low heat and melt the butter down.
Break the pretzels into bite size pieces, approximately 3/4 inch and add to the butter
Next add the rest of the ingredients (except raisins) and keep the temperature low for one minute, stirring to evenly coat
Remove the pan from the heat and add the raisins. Mix well
Once cooled, place into storing container and refrigerate until use
