Have you ever wanted to write a blog post outside of scrapbooking or papercrafting? But feel like you can't on your scrap blog because it's... about scrapping!? Or... you don't feel like starting a new blog for those sorts of posts?

How about becoming a blogger/writer on a blog I have just started? I am looking for blog authors to write about the following:

Beauty & Style
Blogging & Internet
Entertainment
Food & Drink
Home & Garden
Military Life
Money & Finances
Parenting

No, authors are not restricted to writing in any one category.

At the end of each of your posts you will be credited with a short bio that you have written, which can include links to your other sites.

I am hoping in the future that this new blog will be profitable. However, with one person writing, there is very little content. I am hoping to make this a popular blog and when it becomes very popular (and it will... I have faith) and I start selling ads on the site, then I want to share those profits with you, the authors.

I am looking for several authors.

As an author you will also get your own @ourspinonit.com email address. You will need an email program to use it though.

Possible Idea for Craft Storage

As some of you may know I am a huge fan of CSN Stores because of their vast array of products and their super fast shipping time. I was browsing the site and checking out wardrobes for my youngest daughter but got to thinking they could also work well for Craft Supplies. I was looking at this one in particular, it has the two drawers and three shelves on the inside:

Hello our followers of Paper Craftorium...just wanted to give you an update so you don't think we are MIA.
Penny and I decided to take a little hiatus. Penny is on a much needed trip home and I am busy keeping my crafting mojo going.
We decided we would see how we felt when we talked again and see if we will continue the blog.
I thank everyone for the suggestions you have been sending in or to me.
We will let you know when we make a decision.

How about Queen Bee Studio, would you like to go visit the Queen Bee with me?
Now I have to tell you when I sent an email to Debi letting her know I wanted to feature her, she responded with such wonderful comments. Her and I conversed several times...what a sweetie!

Say hello to Snowball's owner Crystal, she is my choice today from Crystals sparkle...what a jewel I have found today to share with you.
Ok I know what does a cat have to do with paper crafting? Please is this not one of the prettiest cats?
Now anyone that has ever seen or watched a posting from my blog knows I love my cat, so I had to check out this blog because I seen a picture of Snowball.

Look how pretty this card is, wouldn't you love to receive one of these? I noticed that she has so many beautiful creations with flowers. I love a girly- girl and so love to check the beautiful creations she has posted.

Making Embossed Flowers

I had to share this step I learned during the u-stream video Kathy at Paper Phenomenon showed us. There are several videos available on u-stream and you-tube...these are called Arlene flowers I believe.
Embossed flowers would be another name.

You start with a versa mark glue pad, I know there are other types a pads available, this is the one I seen them being made with. There are also several types of versa mark, I used the plain or clear one.
I used Utee embossing powder , it come in a large bottle, I would imagine you could used any type clear powder . I STRONGLY recommend using an old tweezer.
You can use and type flower you would like to be shiny, these I used were Prima from an assortment, some came in my kit I purchased from Kathy at Paper Phenomenon.

I keep my clear and white embossing powders in these Ziploc containers because I use them so often. It is so much easier to use in this bowl. This is my embossing gun, I own two different types, use what you are comfortable with. I have been told a blow dryer will not work because it doesn't get hot enough.

I started by working with one flower at a time. I pushed the flower into the embossing pad until well covered. Then I made sure I placed the cover back on the pad till I needed to use for another flower. You will only need to press the flower into the pad once.Next I dipped into the embossing powder while holding with my tweezers. I am working on a craft pad from Ranger...be careful what you have down on the table because things get sticky and hot.
Once the flower is heated, I re-dip the flower in the powder and shake off and re-heat again. You will do this three times with the heat and embossing powder on each flower.

This last picture shows a couple examples of two flowers I made, they are so shiny!

My newest find was someone that entered the challenge that penny and I are design Team members for- Sketches In Thyme.
Look at this adorable Valentine card she made, and here is an adorable bird card I really enjoyed.

How about these great cards she made for a friend that is a real estate agent.
I enjoyed my visit to the Cropping Canuck.She has a Gypsy and shares her projects also. I love using my Cricut but haven't gotten a Gypsy yet.

My 2 Blessings is a new blog I found...Melissa played along with the Sketches I Thyme Team that penny and I are both on.

Melissa was featured on One pretty Thing for this adorable, frugal bow holder. How cute is this?
You have to check out all these pages she completed when she went to a scrap away.
Now I know our blog is paper creations but I had to share this post here with adorable gingerbread houses.
I guess I am excited to share Melissa because she is a young mom that is very busy with her children, but finds time to do some crafts.

I was contacted by CSN Stores to do a review of any of their items from their 200+ online stores. I can review anything from LED lighting to ourdoor toys for the kids.
