They create note cards and invitations for all sorts of occasions — wedding, kids and baby, and everyday note cards, most of which can be personalized for you. Many of the paper goods in the Very Inviting Paper line feature fun illustrations that have been hand drawn and watercolored by Susan, the shop’s owner. Here are just a few of my favorites:

I am in complete awe over the evocative work of Melbourne, Australia based paper artist, Emma van Leest, whose intricate papercut work is truly amazing. I love the layered, dimensional quality of her work and her use of different colored papers to achieve this look in certain works. Her attention to detail is rather mindblowing:

I have to admit that I’m usually not a fan of ocean and coastal themed decor, but when done right it can be truly beautiful. I’m completely taken with this gift wrap idea that I spotted at Chez Fifi. I love the subdued palette and kanji print wrap, and the starfish and seaweed colored raffia embellishments are fantastic. Plus, the sand dollar used as a gift tag? Brilliant!

An ocean themed Weekly Wrap this week is actually quite fitting, as we’re supposed to get deluged over the next couple of days in these parts. Whether you’re facing a monsoon, as I likely will be, or you have gloriously sunny and warm weather, I wish you a happy weekend!

Have you checked out the Felt & Wire shop lately? If you’re a paper lover, then you should head over if you haven’t already … after you read this post, of course. They have a fantastic, curated collection of paper goods, and one of their newest additions is <a href="http://www.feltandwireshop.com/sellers/396-paperdolls-paper-goods" target-"_blank">Paperdolls, whose bold, patterned gift wrap I’m totally digging. The Paperdolls Felt & Wire shop also features their patterned notecards, which are just as lovely as the gift wrap. Sneak a peek below, and get a load of those paper rosettes!
