Okay, how adorable are these cards from Darla Okada of Two Black Cats Studio? Yeah, they’re pretty darn adorable. The Cutie in a Teacup series includes hand trimmed cards featuring Darla’s sweet illustrations of little critters in teacups, and I’m digging her teacup designs just as much as the fuzzy bunnies and puppies that inhabit them!

Meant To Be Sent (booth #2162) is back for their second show with oodles of eye catching color and shiny gold foil accents:

And Legion Paper (booth #3074), along with project organizer Flywheel Press (booth #2067), present the third annual Stationery Show promotional project, BINGO FOR TWO! These promos are always lots of fun, and this year’s project features 22 designers, all NSS exhibitors, who have each created their own unique bingo tokens using a variety of printing techniques, including letterpress, digital, foil, and offset:

Wild Ink Press (booth #2071) has many, many fantastic new paper goodies making their debut at the National Stationery Show this year. I am so excited that they’re introducing a collection of textile-inspired patterned gift wrap – yay, awesome gift wrap! And Wild Ink will also be debuting two new letterpress card collections – Idioms and Quotations – as well as a new letterpress calendar and notepads.

The Idioms card series includes clever cards that have fun little lines like “no one measures up to you” and “another birthday? piece of cake”, with simple hand-drawn illustrations that coordinate with each idiom:

And the Quotations card series features quotes from noteworthy people and fun die-cut windows that give you a peek at the hand drawn illustration that’s revealed, along with the rest of the quote, when you open the card. Love it!

I am completely smitten with these awesome illustrated greeting cards by Aurelie Guilerey for 1973. I love the retro style and texture, and I’m thinking that these cards would make wonderful little framed art pieces, too.

It’s always a great “paper day” for me when Tag Team Tompkins introduces new designs, and their four new letterpress art prints are absolutely lovely. The new prints feature Tag Team Tompkins’ trademark blend of letterpress, papercutting, and hand drawn calligraphy, as well as quotes that inspire happiness, love, and passion. What a wonderful way to welcome spring!

Plane Paper (booth #1674) is bringing lots of color to the show this year with a range of lovely laser cut paper creations featuring their new Sorbet duplex paper. Tri*pop hidden message cards and bottle tags are among the fun new laser cut products that will be making their debut at the show!

And speaking of debuts, Los Angeles-based Iron Curtain Press (booth #1679) will be making their NSS debut this year with around 60 brand new letterpress cards featuring whimsical, hand drawn lettering and illustration or sleek, hand set type. Sweet!
