I followed Ben and Claire around Clintonville on a breezy Saturday morning for their Columbus engagement session. We looked at plants at the Park of Roses, bought some plants at the Clintonville Farmer’s Market, and then baked some onto a crust. Thanks for the delicious pizza, Claire and Ben!

2015! As far as my 10 year old self is concerned, it is now the future. Thank you, amazing clients of 2014! You make me love this job. Becky & Luke // Cleveland Wedding Photography

CLEVELAND DOES 80 TO 40 IN UNDER 30 HOURS

The Thursday before Becky and Luke’s wedding, Cleveland saw a high around 80 degrees. By the time Saturday arrived, we were looking at mid 40s at best. It didn’t matter though. Becky and Luke overpowered the chilliness of their outdoor wedding at the German Central Foundation by dragging in space heaters, tenting off the pavilion, providing fleece blankets, and offering an endless supply of spiked coffee to keep guests warm.

Joan + Dean // Camp Mary Orton Wedding

HASHTAG JOJOANDTHEBEAN FOREVER
In extreme DIY fashion, Joan and Dean enlisted the help of friends and family from all over the country (and world!) to pitch in and contribute some small aspect to make their wedding day personal and unique. This beautiful outdoor wedding was held at Camp Mary Orton, which I’ve shot before , know well, and absolutely love. The highly delicious food (who doesn’t like smoked meat?) was handled by Columbus’s legit BBQ master at Ray Rays, while the graphic design and printing along with decorating duties slash flower arranging, came from Joan’s brother-in-law Kevin and her sister Mary. There are too many contributions like this to list, but I definitely got the sense that this was a very enthusiastic and eager group effort. And why wouldn’t it be? It was for THE JOAN AND DEAN! C’mon, who doesn’t love these two! I’m so thankful I was asked to be there to document this beautiful day.

Nicole + David // Kelton House Wedding

Nicole and David hosted a very intimate and personal celebration a few weeks ago which began outdoors at the Kelton House for their ceremony, and continued with delicious Italian small plates, wine, and dancing, at The Kitchen.
