I ended up choosing slicehost. So far I’m impressed.

Heres a new take on UI interaction. I thought it was pretty ingenious. Hoping to see the concept in my future.

I’ve setup WP to tweet blog posts.

I’ve setup WP to use Feedburner RSS feeds.

I’ve setup Tumblr and Facebook to import those RSS feeds.

I’ve setup email notifications for people who receive replies on their comments.

I’ve setup a robots.txt blacklisting all bots except google bots from indexing internal Wordpress files. Also points to my siteindex.xml so that the bots index faster.

I also have designed and uploaded a favicon thats all mine. (For the illiterate, its the little icon next to the URL.)

I also setup 404, 403, and 500 status pages that send me emails alerts with crucial information.

The experience has been quite fun. Ive never messed around with .htaccess files so much before. Very powerful stuff. mod_rewrite ftw.

To me this seems like a degree for experienced CS majors to come back and take for a management position. Its somewhat misleading. I was hoping to learn topics on Embedded Systems, but it looks like ill have to go back into advisement to discuss what to do.

In other news, I added a favicon.ico to my site. Its that little Faravahar icon next to the URL. I’ve also set up my blog with feedburner. Hopefully that should fix some of the RSS problems wordpress has been plagued with.

This should give me more communication. I’ve been focusing on methods of getting alternative social networking sites with people I know a way to come view my site.

So far I’ve gotten some form of integration with twitter and facebook. Since I have some friends over at Tumblr, I decided to setup something. Lets see how it works?!

My car’s patch started leaking because of the excessive rain. I also come to find out there are ants all over the inside, probably trying to survive the rain.

I take off for school, deciding to park in the ‘new’ ( and stupidly located ) parking deck. I have a horrible time finding out how to get back to the center of the campus through the fences and construction going on. Have to walk through mud too.

Get on campus only to find out it was canceled 45 minutes earlier by email.

I head back to my car covering my shoes in mud in the process.

And my econ teacher who hasn’t shown up to the last 3 weeks of class is trying to give us a test based of the little content posted online. The rain canceled a test i had been cramming for all weekend.

Need Input.

I’ve been cheating myself just a little lately. Investing in knowledge but shrugging off health and education.

Definitely need to have a little focus. Not using bullshit things like Facebook as much and not spending as much time in front of video games certainly helps. I definitely need to exercise more though.
