"Because of Winn-Dixie" play

After reading, “Because of Winn-Dixie” my reading group performed a short play for the rest of the class.  My students were thrilled to do it and I thought others might enjoy it too!

We served egg salad sandwiches with frill picks and pickles too!  It was fun!

An array of stuffed animals to measure.

Making measuring hands-on and interesting for kids is always important.  This activity insures that they will want to measure all of their favorite stuffed animals.  They can also measure their real favorite  real pets but they won’t stay still like a stuffed pet will!
