If you are interested in providing your input and feedback on one of these areas, please come to the discussion or send an email with your comments and possible solutions to your concerns.

We have received the furniture needed to start our outreach programs. We need female parent volunteers to wash the lost and found clothes. We have the machines in the girls locker room along with the soap. These clothes will be kept in room 628. We need donations for supplies, food, other clothing items.

We will also be receiving the couches next week or the week after. We need help re organizing the space in room 628 to be inviting to parents and be a space for students, teachers and parents to meet, test and learn. If possible, we would like to have the couches recovered with something new. Do we have anyone with that skill?

4/25 – We need to bag the balls for the 51’s game – Tina Hague

4/27 – 51’s ball game need to sell at least 50 tickets or we are stuck with them.SPREAD THE WORD!

Teacher Appreciation week 5/7-5/11 what would we like to do? Lunch for the teachers - possible donations of pasta and pizza from cici's. Need someone to make phone calls. NJHS will provide the beverages for this event.

The new school year is right around the corner - we need to survey parents in this new year and see what they are willing and able to do to support our school in the 12-13 school year.

March Meeting Minutes and Upcoming Events

3rd Quarter is over Friday March 23.

Thank you to Tammy Cochran, Jackie Emigh, Rick Suiter, Kristine Dumais, Amy Perkins, and Tricia Perna for volunteering to grade our tests for monitoring student progress this week! We will need a minimum of 9 people to grade tests in May.

We still have about 250 Be Kind...shirts. These shirts are $10. If you know anyone who would like a shirt, please have them contact the school. We need help all three lunches 10:15-10:45, 11:00-11:30, 12:00-12:30 pm. We need volunteers to sell at lunches and ideas to help spread the word about Lied and our new Be Kind initiative.

PASS students - guest speaker Dr. Upinder from the Sikh Temple after school in Theater Wednesday, March 28 from 2:20 to 3:10 pm

March 30 - Bunny Hop - PE students will run the mile and try to win a ham. One boy and girl from each period will win. Come and cheer on our students!

Spring Break April 2 through April 6 - school is not in session for students

April 10 - Report card distribution - if you are willing to help with giving our students awards for their performance, behavior and attendance, please call Ms. Haisten at 799-4620 ext 4303 to set up the times. We need help all three lunches 10:15-10:45, 11:00-11:30, 12:00-12:30 on this day.

Our incoming 6th grade orientation has MOVED!! It will now be held Wednesday April 11 during the school day and at night! We need parents to man the sign up table, sell Be Kind shirts and answer questions about what Parents As Partners is all about.

April 13 - Parents As Partners meeting - we are currently recruiting a new president for our organization. Thanks to Tricia Perna for doing a fantastic job of getting us up and going! Her commitments have changed and we are once again in need of strong leadership. Candidates for PAP president must be a Lied MS parent.

April 17, 18, 24, 25, 26 CRT testing - Parent help is needed for breakfast each day. Specifically we need help setting up 6:45 am to 7:00 am and serving 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Clean up will be done by one of our classes.

We are looking for additional guest speakers for our PASS class after school. Our program is focused on the theme of "Intolerance." We are still in need of speakers for 4/25, 5/9, and 5/23 after school from 2:20 to 3:10 pm. The following are examples of the types of speakers we need: works in the area of bully prevention, has experience with fighting for civil rights or any other similar area of injustice which our students could benefit from learning.

The end of the year is rapidly approaching! Our annual awards night event is May 17. Parents are invited to attend and Parents As Partners would like to be a presence at this event. Parent help is needed to set up, serve and clean up the refreshments after the event as well as hand out programs.

Also we will be having end of the year concerts for guitar, band, choir and orchestra. Parent volunteers are needed to hand out programs.

Hi Parents,

Family Night was fun and amazing! The lasagna dinner was delicious! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make the entire night such a huge success! Attention needs to be called out to the Shadow Ridge Honor Society for their help with the lasagna dinner and also for the babysitting that they provided for the parents. Also, the Cheyenne Band and the ROTC were extremely entertaining! Great job to everyone that helped us!

On behalf of our school and the entire community, I want to extend a special thank you to every local business that so graciously donated the wonderful items for the raffles! Their generosity and support is greatly appreciated!

Congratulations to all the raffle winners!!

PASS is an after school tutoring program created to help the non-proficient students raise their grade averages. The school budget has the funds for 5 of the 6 teachers needed for this program. Non-proficient students are selling raffle tickets to raise the money for their field trip. PAP is helping the school raise the funds for the 6^th teacher. Raffle tickets for an iPad 2 are being sold at $5.00 each to raise the money for the teacher fee, as well as, to help pay for the field trip that the PASS students will be eligible to participate in upon their successful completion of the program. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the office or from a PAP representative. The drawing for the iPad 2 is on March 7^th.

Parents As Partners is still providing movie time to the students that wish to attend the home basketball games. However, due to the excessive mess that was created in the Little Theater, as well as, around the entire campus, we will no longer be offering popcorn. Students that are attending the games are not allowed to wander the campus prior to the games. They must be in the Little Theater or off school grounds. Therefore, we have provided them with something to do for the time in between the last bell and when the first game starts. Our next movie is Tuesday, 2/14 from 2:16pm – 3:30pm. The season is almost over. Come out and support our Teams!

Be-Kind Campaign – Kindness Week 2/13-2/17 – Be Kind T-shirts will be available for purchase during the lunch periods everyday this week. They are $10 each. Staff and students are being encouraged to wear their t-shirts every Thursday for “Thoughtful Thursdays”. Visit http://joshstevensfoundation.org/ for more information about the campaign.

Kay Carl Elementary School is having a Bully Awareness Event on Thursday, 2/16 for Be Kind Week. Parents As Partners will be there in support of their event and to help with their pasta dinner. Lied students and families are welcome to attend and learn more about the Be Kind… foundation. Anyone wishing to volunteer and help Kay Carl with this event please let me know.

Lied Adventure Dome Night is March 16^th: tickets are on sale through 3/10, $15.00 each and they are available from a PAP representative and in the school office.

We are starting a clothing closet and food pantry for students and families that are in need of help. Any gently used clothing (no stains or tears please), or dry/canned goods (not expired please) would be greatly appreciated.

Parents As Partners will be creating outlines for next years events. In doing so, we will be more prepared for activities that are happening both on and off campus. Any feedback and/or suggestions from parents and teachers is appreciated.

Summer Writing Camp

The Southern Nevada Writing Project (SNWP) is thrilled to host our third annual Summer Writing Camp for students entering grades 1-12 in the Fall, 2012. This is an incredible opportunity for any student who loves to write. Class sizes are small with at least 2 certified CCSD teachers per class. Please contact the appropriate person listed below, if you would like your student to participate.

Camps will be June 18 - June 29 at the following locations: Grades 1-6, Paradise ES (on the UNLV campus) and grades 7-12, Carlson Education Building at UNLV. The cost is $200 for 10 half days; this includes a mid-morning snack, a commemorative tee shirt, and an anthology of student writing.

Drew Stevens Is Visiting Lied!

Drew Stevens is the founder of the Be Kind Campaign in honor of his son Joshua Stevens. Parents are welcome to come listen to him speak about his son as well as this wonderful and worthwhile anti-bullying campaign.

Hello Parents!

As we wind down the first half of the year, we wish everyone a great holiday and a happy and safe New Year!

Announcements

PAP has been trying to come up with ways to get more parents and teachers involved and informed regarding events, activities and announcements about Lied MS. The following are some suggestions for how to get and stay informed.

· Mrs. Ritz contacted the district and learned that the school has 1117 parents with valid email addresses, 23 have bad email addresses, and 1202 have NO email addresses in the system. If you are not receiving emails from Parentlink, please check your SPAM folder and add the Inbox_244@interact.ccsd.net address to your contacts.

· Emails from Parentlink will be sent out on Tuesdays or Wednesday mornings from now on. This should help prevent the Parentlink messages from getting lost in the Monday clean-up of inboxes.

· Weekly phone calls are being sent on Sunday evenings with information updates. If you are not receiving these calls please contact the office at 799-4620 to be added the list.

· If you are aware of any parents that are not receiving the parentlink and/or PAP messages, please pass this information on to them.

· Parents As Partners updates the blog quite often – parents can subscribe to it and will receive an email when there are changes made. Visit http://www.lied-pap.blogspot.com/

· Parents As Partners have begun passing out fliers to the parents who are picking up students after school. Please review these fliers as they contain information regarding the events and activities that are coming up. The counselors and office staff are also passing out information to parents as they come into the office.

· We have found that providing fliers for teachers to pass out to students has not been affective in providing parents with important and useful information. This option, as a general rule, will now be a last resort of communication to parents.

Be Kind…Campaign to begin after the New Year:

a. The Be Kind Campaign is a program to help combat bullying and promote tolerance among the students. This campaign was founded by the Josh Stevens Foundation. T-Shirts will be sold for $10 to students, parents and staff. We will also be given the “caught being kind” cards. These cards will be used by teachers and staff to reward students that are observed being kind to others.

b. The teacher slogan is: Be Kind…Lied the way!

c. We are asking for student slogan ideas: The following are some ideas that have been given so far. Be Kind…

1. Lied others to happiness

2. Lied yourself to greatness

3. It takes courage to do what others are afraid of

4. Open the door

5. It’s a SNAP!

6. Gator Done!

Parents As Partners has a home!

The first week back from winter break, parent volunteers will be setting up room 628 for Parents As Partners. We are very excited to have a space to use as our headquarters, and we wish to thank Lied staff for assisting us in allowing this to happen! We will use this room for meetings, education for parents during the day or possibly evenings, a place where parents can use computers, grade papers, and other tasks to help the school and its staff.

Any parents that wish to help set up the room and decorate can contact Tricia Perna at 875-2691 or Jen Ritz at 799-4620. We are also looking for donations to help complete the room, such as: a couch, chairs, coffee table).

Adopted Families update:

d. The items that have already been received was sorted out on Monday,

e. A local church donated several items for the families,

f. We received $100 from PE to help with this cause,

g. Parents have also donated many items to the families,

h. One of the families has been covered completely, and

i. PAP will be purchasing additional items on Tuesday, December 13^thto cover the other 2 families, if necessary. We have set a limit of up to $150.00 per family as needed,

j. Any parents that wants to help prepare the items on Wednesday, December 14^th, is welcome to contact Jen Ritz at 799-4620 for the exact time to arrive,

k. Delivery of the items will be 12/16/11.

Barnes & Noble Bookfair Update:

The McTeacher Nights yielded approximately $600.00, Applebee’s $48.00 and Joe’s Crab Shack was $15.00. The amount from Barnes & Noble is unknown at this time.

Although the school ID is no longer valid, I will have the teacher’s wish lists online at www.bn.com. Log in with email: Bookfair@triciaperna.com with password: success1 to view the lists by teacher.

Development of Committees:

We have developed committees to help break up all the responsibilities that Parents As Partners have at Lied MS. The following categories were created and volunteers are needed and welcome to ensure their success!

o Fundraising/Donations/Activities

o Commitment on going, asking organizations, and businesses for support in the area of donations or possible fundraising events. Contact Jackie Emigh at 581-7241

o Commitment as needed 2 weeks before each event,

§ Calling parents to secure volunteers for events.

Upcoming Calendar of events:

December 13, 14 & 15 PASTA dinners CANCELLED – the ticket sales for the dinners were unsuccessful and therefore the dinners are no longer scheduled for this week. We will still be having the pasta dinner for Family Involvement Night on January 12, 2012.

December 15^th The Fresh & Easy Shopping Night will be held at the Ann & Decatur location. We are also looking for more volunteers from 4-8 pm. Volunteers will be standing in as greeters and baggers. Contact Tricia Perna at 875-2691 if you are able to volunteer.

January 6^th Parents As Partners will be having our monthly meeting a week early to ensure that we are prepared for Family Involvement Night. All parents are welcome to attend in Room 628. Parents As Partners discussed possibly changing the time of the meetings to 1 pm on the 2^nd Friday of each month. If this allows you to begin attending the PAP meetings, please contact Jen Ritz at 799-4620 or Tricia Perna at 875-2691.

January 12^th Family Night from 6:30 - 8 pm – We will be selling dinner tickets in advance! Starting on December 13^th at the concerts, Pasta Dinner Tickets will be sold for $5.00 per plate. Tickets can only be purchased in advance. We need donation items; for example, Adventure Dome will be donating tickets for PAP to raffle off. We also need volunteers to help with phone calls, assistance for the pasta dinner: cooking, serving and clean up, help with the booth for t-shirt sales, as well as greeters.

January 13^th Crystal Palace Skate Night 6PM – 10PM $8.50 per child, which includes skates, a hot dog or slice of pizza and a soda.

January 23^rd & February 21^st Staff Development Day – We are looking for volunteers to serve food to teachers and help Parents As Partners build a strong relationship with our students teachers.

Study Hall Monitors

Ms. Spence is in need of some parents that are able to stay after school on Mondays to help her monitor behavior. She holds study hall to help those students in need of extra support and learning with their homework lessons.

In order for her to be able to concentrate on teaching the students, she is asking that a few parents volunteer to help her supervise the children as they work.

Study Hall is held in Room 604 every Monday from 2:20pm - 3:00pm

Lied Parents,

The Halloween Carnival was so much fun! Thank you to everyone that volunteered! Parents, students and staff really pulled together as a community and blew it out of the park.

Announcements

Safety is always a very important issue to keep in the forefront of our minds! Recently, our community has suffered extreme loss! From Lied staff, students and parents, our thoughts are with everyone grieving during this time. With safety being a great concern, as it should always be, we are asking for everyone to be very mindful with their vehicles during drop-off and pick-up. We are asking for parent help before and after school to help kids safe while crossing the streets around the school. – PAP is contacting Mr. Washington of the Gator Gents Program for participants. We are also asking that other interested parents please contact Mrs. Ritz at 799-4620.

Some safe driving habits to consider are:

NO U-turns when dropping off and picking up, signaling your intentions are also appropriate;
15 MPH when Children Are Present;
Stay aware of all 4 sides of your vehicle at all times, not just in front;
Do not talk on phone or text during drop off and pick up;
Administration will be contacting everyone that they feel is not conducting themselves in a safe manner.

PAP will be supporting 1 family from each grade level for Christmas; Mrs. Ritz is asking the teachers for nominations, as well as, donations to be given by 11/28/11, the families will need to pick up the basket/gifts by December 16. Please know that these families may not necessarily be publically named. Student Council does Candy Cane sales to help support a family in need each year and will be doing it this year as well.

Parent Involvement

11/14-11/15 – The reading department is asking for parents to help with reading tests this year. The test will be conducted during periods 1-4. The testing assessments will continue on a monthly basis. Volunteers must be trained in advance to administer the tests. Seven parents are needed and will need to commit to the 2 days in November, January and May, and 1 day a month for December, February, March and April. If you are able and interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Ritz at 799-4620 or reply to this email by Wednesday, November 9^th.

11/16-11/18 – for all three lunch periods, 10:00am -12:30pm, counselors need help for distribution of Student Recognition. Volunteers are needed to help.

Fresh & Easy Night – We are having a Fresh & Easy Shopping Night in December. Food sample and demonstration tables will be provided by Fresh & Easy; Music and other clubs are welcome to perform at this event. Volunteers are needed and can contact Rick Suiter at 702-528-3405 or Jackie Emigh at 702-581-7241. You can also reply to this email.

12/1 & 12/2 - Barnes & Noble Book Fair – This is a huge event for Lied MS! We are working hard to ensure that it is a huge success. Parent and teacher volunteers are needed for several aspects of the event. We need parents for reading help (every hour and half hour from 5-9 pm for 15-20 minutes each) & working the Gift Wrapping Station. All tips come back to Lied PAP. We will also need volunteers for our McDonald’s Bite Night on both evenings. Contact Rick Suiter at 702-528-3405 or Jackie Emigh at 702-581-7241. You can also reply to this email. The Gator Bite Night locations for this event are as follows:

12/1/11 – Applebee’s, Joe’s Crab Shack, McDonald’s

We are also checking into possible options for restaurants across the street; on the west side of 95 on Lake Mead

December concerts – Dinner fundraisers will be help before the concerts – PAP is in need of contacts for either catering or donations; Mrs. Ritz will also talk to the foods class about catering. If other options do not present, PAP will be making spaghetti and meatballs dinner, with garlic bread, for $5.00 a plate, each night. Volunteers are needed to help. These are the concert dates:

12/13/11 – Choir Concert
12/14/11 – Band Concert
12/15/11 – Orchestra Concert

1/12/12 Family Night – The focus for family night will be on helping parents and students prepare for semester exams. Lied is in need of donations for gift baskets and give-away; we are exploring the option of possibly having a fundraiser dinner before the event as well.

Fundraising: Update

Chili’s Gator Bite Night – first check received $50;
UNLV tickets – waiting to hear how many tickets were sold and total profits earned;
Staff Development Day breakfast 11/10 – PAP will be purchasing a Continental Breakfast for the school staff, not to exceed $300, at Costco. Parents are welcome and encouraged to be present on 11/10 at 7:20am to greet and treat the Lied staff!;
Oriental Trading Company – $98.50 was spent for student incentives.

We are in the stages of setting up sub-committees for PAP responsibilities –

Monthly events – Gator Bite Night and fun monthly activities; fundraisers – Rick Suiter & Jackie Emigh have agreed to work together on these type of events.
Teacher Liaison – Teacher help- grading, testing, etc.
Family Night – January 12 planning, set up, dinner, donation, drawing, etc.
Student Recognition/Incentives – These events are held in November, February, and April for Quarterly student recognition assistance and May for Awards Night. Tammy Cochran has agreed to volunteer in assisting with these events.
Teacher Appreciation – Monthly faculty meeting (1^st Tuesday of the month), staff development days (November, January, February), and May teacher appreciation week – PAP and the teachers sunshine committee will be coordinating for small tokens of appreciation for the teachers and staff breakfast or lunches.
Anyone interested in serving on a committee can reply to this email. We will also be making phone calls to ask for assistance from parents.

Jackie Emigh and Rick Suiter are taking over the responsibility of coordinating the monthly events including the Gator Bite Nights.

PAP will need help cleaning out room 628 and setting it up as our parents as partners headquarters. Tentatively we will be doing this the week of 11/14 after school.

PAP is adding an additional meeting on 11/18 at 9 am in the Little Theater to complete/finalize planning for these detailed and important upcoming events:

Announcements

Thank you to all the parents and students for volunteering their time during Luau BBQ! It was a lot of fun and was very successful. The student council received a lot of positive feedback!

A correction from last month’s newsletter! I accidently thanked the wrong parent for helping with the Open House. It was Tammy Cochran that deserves a huge thank you for helping. Sorry Tammy and Thank You!

Incentives for students- PAP will be purchasing suckers and temporary tattoos from the Oriental Trading Company as incentives for the students. If there are any parents that have incentives to donate, please feel free to drop them to Ms. Ritz at the school.

Options were discussed in the meeting about additional ways to get announcements out to more of our Lied families. Lied is already using the website and ParentLink, as well as, the PAP blog www.lied-pap.blogspot.com. Some ideas that were discussed were: 1. Can we do a facebook page? Ms. Ritz is looking into it. 2. It may be easier to use Twitter. Ms. Ritz is looking into both of these possibilities. The best format would be a simple posting format without the requirement of constant monitoring. We have no idea what this means for other legal issues. Ms. Bass -Davis emailed Legal and we are waiting for a response from them. If we have PAP do it, there may be no conflict. Do any parents have thoughts regarding this matter?

We earned $246 from the Crystal Palace Night! We are still waiting to hear about the other Gator Bite Nights at this time.

Amanda Siqueira from Nationwide Outdoor is assisting us with the research of getting signs for our school – She is finding out if we need to get a permit to create a permanent sign on the Bradley side of the building. This is a very exciting possibility! Thank you, Amanda!

We are also looking into possibly having a sandwich board-type sign for general information in the quad or office.

Any parents who signed up to volunteer for certain types of events will be receiving phone calls within the next week regarding any events or issues that Lied MS needs support around. PAP and Lied staff asks that you please be willing to help if you are possibly able to! One Event, One Hour!

The Halloween Carnival is 10/31 – Anyone with a black light is asked to donate it for use in the haunted house. Contact Tricia Perna at tricia@triciaperna.com. We desperately need help from parents with the booths and/or the haunted house to support the students in making this event a success! Contact Allyson Butto by email atAFB244@interact.ccsd.net

Lied has received 25 UNLV tickets for the Boise vs UNLV game in November! Rick Suiter is looking into the possibility of purchasing 25 more. He will also be asking that we might get an announcement at the game that Lied MS is present! We have at least 19 people who have already contacted me about purchasing the tickets to attend the game. If you are also interested, please contact us ASAP. They are first come, first serve.

The November SST lesson will be “Delayed Gratification” – PAP has agreed to purchase the marshmallows for this lesson.

We are looking to have three spaghetti dinner type fundraisers on the evenings that we have out concerts in December. The funds will go towards a school wide field to an arts museum in California. Does anyone have any contacts at the Northwest Career & Technical Magnet School to see if they can serve/support these dinner fundraisers? If so, please let us know.

PAP will be creating a Standard Dress Survey to gather the response of the parents and see if parents want to pursue this policy.

Lied received an email from Julie Wilson; she is going to order herself a PAP shirt. The item numbers that staff is wearing is k500 and l500. They run $14.00 each with an additional $2.00 for each x after XL. You can go to www.sanmar.com to view all the styles. Julie is willing to pick up any that are ordered and bring them to the next meeting on November 4.

Announcements

Thank you to Tammy Jensen and Sherri Dobbins for volunteering their time during Open House to pass out the Gator Bite Night flyers!

The feedback from Open House has been greatly appreciated! Although it was for the most part, a successful event, the feedback suggests that there is room for improvement! The turnout exceeded Lied MS staffs expectations, which they were extremely pleased about. However, that also created frustration among parents and students, as the gymnasium could not accommodate everyone. Parents would have liked more time with the teachers, as they felt the teachers were rushed to say everything they needed to say to parents. A solution for this would be to record the principal message in advance and show it on the closed circuit TVs in the 1st period teacher's classroom. This would help to ensure that everyone could hear the message, as well
as, giving the teachers more time to speak with the parents and students. Overall, parents liked the format and appreciated all the information provided. Lied would like to thank everyone for their feedback. With your feedback, Lied works have to improve and create further success!

I also wish to thank all the families that have donated $10.00 or more! Lied MS is asking for $10.00 donations from each family for the general school fund. These funds go directly back to the students in the form of student incentive breakfasts, awards, field trips, and lunch for the students in need that do not qualify for the county lunch assistance program.

Research on obtaining a marquee to be placed in front of the school has begun. If anyone has any suggestions or assistance with this, please contact me at tricia@triciaperna.comor Ms. Ritz at 702-799-4620.

We are looking into setting up a reading corner in the cafeteria with a sofa and loveseat for the students who would like to read after eating lunch.

Lied Needs

Supplies donations are needed for some students. Anyone with extra notebooks, binders, pens, divider sheets, or any other school supplies are being asked to donate them to Lied. Please drop them to the office or send them to school with your student. It is greatly appreciated!

The school is asking for old magazines that can be used in the classrooms. They must be appropriate for school use, but age doesn't matter. This is a great incentive for cleaning up and organizing your magazine rack!

PAP will be providing most of the student incentive and teacher appreciation supplies. These are rewards to the students and teachers for good and/or improving performance. One way we will be acknowledging our students are with pins that the students can attach to their lanyards; i.e. Reader of the Month, Star Reader, etc. We will also be giving student incentives away for the daily vocabulary announcement drawing participants. Plaques for the teacher appreciation portion of this program were approved at $5.00 each. These plaques will honor the teachers that have completed additional training and who have already implemented those improved training techniques into their classrooms.

We are also asking for any donations that parents and the community may have for student incentives and teacher appreciation. Prizes or any reward type items/services will be put to good use. Likewise, if you know of any businesses or restaurants that would be willing to cater the monthly staff meetings, at no or low cost, please contact Ms. Ritz at 702-799-4620.

Donations for Raffle Baskets are being gathered for the Family Involvement Night Event in November.

Parent Involvement

Many parents have been inquiring about how they can help on campus. Parent involvement in this way is greatly appreciated and encouraged! There is also a page on the PAP blog that outlines these options at www.lied-pap.blogspot.com. The following is a list of help needed:

Gator Gents Program: Contact Al Washington at 702-799-4620;
Assisting students with reading in SST on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;
Working with RTI math or reading students that need extra support and instruction;
Help develop an interactive multicultural lesson for students;
Shelving library books;
Office assistance: making copies, scanning papers, running errands for teachers;
Classroom assistance: grading papers;
Assisting with after school clubs;
Chaperoning activities at lunch time and after school;
We have requested that teachers also provide specific information on how parents can assist with reinforcing content at home to support classroom instruction in the areas of Reading and Mathematics. The principal Mrs. Bass-Davis will be speaking with the Reading Department to get specifics as well.

The procedure for coming on campus to help with PAP is to email Jennifer Ritz at least 24 hours in advance at inbox_244@interact.ccsd.net to let her know when you are able to come and what type of help, if you have a preference, you would like to do.
