In the most simple terms, a blackhead is a little black speck in your skin’s pores. Also known as comedones more technically, this type of pimple blocks the pore. It’s one symptom of acne vulgaris.

Now before you run off to scrap and press them out of your skin, please know that this is a very common, and natural acne. Your skin simply produced too much oil that then planted itself firmly in sebaceous gland duct. The longer it sits there, the darker it becomes due to the process of oxidation. Blackheads seem to enjoy the company of hair too. They often show up in a hair follicle!

In understanding “what is a blackhead” it’s easiest to compare them to another common acne pimple – white heads. Where the blackhead has an open surface, the whitehead is closed. Since it contains the same oil, but doesn’t get exposed to air, the liquid inside whiteheads remains (as the name implies) white.

Well, itching is certainly among them! Known by the medical term tinea cruris, this nasty fungal infection typically appears on the upper thighs and groins of men, but women can get it too.

There’s a special type of fungus that naturally lives on our bodies, some of which consume dead skin tissue. Combine that with a moist, warm area like the groin and you have a perfect proverbial stew pot from which jock itch can grow and spread. As the term “jock itch” implies, athletes experience this frequently due to sweating without proper air flow to the skin.

That means one of the easiest ways to help yourself prevent jock itch is wearing loose clothing, particularly in humid weather. Other factors in jock itch include diabetes, immune disorders and obesity.

The symptoms of jock itch, besides itching, can include a rash, chafing in the groin or thigh area, flaking, elevated skin at the edge of the rash and boils (not as common, but possible).

Needless to say, once you have jock itch the first line of questioning is how to get RID of it! The good news is that there are many over-the-counter products that you can use in the privacy of your own home that do a pretty good job. If they do NOT show results in the amount of time prescribed on the label, it’s definitely time to consult your physician.

You want to take care of the affected skin. Wash it twice a day with a mild soap and soft cloth. Note to always use a NEW cloth and towel for each washing so you don’t spread the fungus. Similarly be sure to wear clean, loose clothing every day – the more air you provide to the affected skin, the faster it heals. For those who get jock itch from athletic activities, an athletic supporter also helps.

The most common treatment is over-the-counter anti-fungal cream, but we are happy to be able to offer a better alternative. Our Fungal Treatment Foam is all natural and is cool and soothing when it is applies – it absorbs into the skin right away, leaving no residue. Our users are reporting faster and better results and really love this product.

No doubt, if you have Jock Itch, you know it itches, it is uncomfortable and it is embarrassing. We created our all Natural Fungal Treatment Foam because my husband had a problem and couldn’t find a solution. He loved it so much, we began to share with our friends and family who also had this problem. Hubby and all of the others that use it love how the light, natural foam immediately soothes the itching and also resolves the problem. Use it two to four times a day until it is resolved, then use every day or every other day to keep it away. Adult acne that appears around your tummy could be a warning sign. You might be pre-diabetic. Females have other symptoms for which to watch – facial hair and irregular periods in particular. If you add a family history of diabetes into this equation – it’s time to see a physician.

Diets high in sugar from things like pasta, cake, soda pop and fruit juices trigger an insulin reaction in your body. Insulin rises to offset the sugar. This, in turn, causes more fat to be stored in your stomach region.

If you think you might have diabetes and adult acne your first step is seeing a doctor to confirm that diagnosis. Until you can actually get to your physician you can do various things for yourself that will HELP. The simplest answer is changing your diet. Drink more water and steer clear of sweet drinks. Avoid starches and pasta. Begin looking at whole grain breads, fresh vegetables, and less fat in all your meats. If you must eat fruit, look to berries for a lower sugar level.

Along with this remember that adult acne doesn’t live outside of other factors in your body. Exercise can be a great helpmate. Take a walk at lunch instead of sitting at a table! Anything you can think of to keep yourself moving helps your body process sugars more effectively. More importantly, if you’re overweight the loss of pounds also decreases your risk of diabetes.

Most often people above the age of fourty experience diabetes and adult acne. You might experience adult boil acne or lesser acne but any breakout that lasts for more than two weeks is a huge warning sign. A boil is like a large pimple – very red and as it grows, it hardens and becomes more painful. These normally drain, but if they do not again it’s time to have some tests done.

So what’s the good news? Both your adult acne and (if applicable) your diabetes are treatable. However, your first priority is to make sure you do not have diabetes, and if you DO have it – begin whatever protocol your physician provides you with. Focus on that, then worry about the associated acne.

More good news – Our deMistify Acne Treament is all natural and is very effective with Adult Acne. As you may be aware, diabetics must take extra care of their skin, because elevated blood sugar levels can lead to diminished circulation and delayed skin repair and healing. Traditional acne treatments are very harsh on the skin. deMistify is soothing and has natural ingredients that are proven to nourish and strengthen the skin.

For other diabetic related skin issues, like boils, wounds or sores, our Natural Soothing Body Spray is ideal. We have had such phenomenal results reported to us – even from people who have had chronic skin issues – this worked with nothing else did.

More than likely if you take proper precautions with jock itch you won’t pass it along to another person. The most likely ways that it could spread is by sharing your towels, washcloth or from intimate contact with another person.

The good news is that jock itch is very curable, and can often be taken care of in the privacy of your own home. Some people find it clears up by itself, while in other cases an over-the-counter product might be required.

Jock itch begins as a rash typically on the thighs and groin region. If you scratch it, you can irritate the condition further and potentially get small abscesses. And while the skin in that area of your body may temporarily look differently just after a bout of jock itch the condition very rarely leaves behind any scars or other signs that it occurred.

If we’re asking is jock itch contagious, we also have to consider treatment. The sooner you contain a flare up, the more comfortable you’ll be and the less chance of passing along the condition. Bear in mind that jock itch is fungal in nature. It develop in areas where the skin remains moist and warm. So, one of the simplest and best things that help avoiding jock itch is making sure to keep your groin clean and dry – giving it as much air as possible particularly after exercise or exposure to hot conditions. If that doesn’t work to keep jock itch away, then you may need an antifungal cream. It may take as long as a month to fully clear the condition.

Most of the time when we talk about jock itch we think of men, who are more prone to it. So is jock itch contagious for women too? The answer is yes. A woman can develop jock itch with or without exposure to another person who has it, but sexual contact increases that possibility.

Note, however that there are two common rashes that you can mistake for jock itch very easily. Erythrasma is one in which the edge of the rash will not show signs of blistering or bumps. The other is Intertrigo which cracks much more than jock itch. Neither of these conditions is contagious, but they should be treated. If you are not sure you have jock itch, please see your medical practitioner.

No doubt, if you have Jock Itch, you know it itches, it is uncomfortable and it is embarrassing. We created our all Natural Fungal Treatment Foam because my husband had a problem and couldn’t find a solution. This rather uncomfortable condition is actually a fungus, also known as ringworm. It starts out looking like a rash that slowly develops bumps on the outer edge. The bumps may look something like a burn blister, and they itch like crazy. Unlike some rashes, jock itch will spread very quickly if left unattended.

The most common areas in which jock itch appears is between the thighs, your bottom, and of course the groin. Why? Because fungus loves moist, warm spots which makes all these regions a perfect breeding ground. It’s very similar to foot fungus in many ways, and has similar treatment plans.

Men seem more prone to jock itch than women, particularly the athletic type. Nonetheless, anyone of any age can get jock itch. Besides the rash, other common symptoms include itching and pain as well as scaly skin toward the edge of the rash. Sometimes the very axis of the rash turns brownish-red.

What is jock itch? Well, after having jock itch once it’s pretty easy to figure out when you have it again. Nonetheless it doesn’t hurt to see your doctor, particularly if the rash doesn’t allay after using an anti-fungal cream or powder. There are other physical conditions that seem like jock itch, but are not.

There are some other tips for dealing wit jock itch effectively. Always use a clean washcloth and towel when cleaning the area (i.e. put those right into the laundry as they can carry fungus to someone else). If you’re applying an over-the-counter product, follow the directions carefully. In cases where the jock itch does erupt into blisters use warm compresses for comfort but avoid purposefully breaking them as that can lead to scarring.

By the way, it’s very important that you complete the full treatment program recommended by any product or physician. Jock itch can be sneaky. It may seem like its gone and then suddenly it erupts again. By following through on the full period of treatment you lessen the chance of this happening.

Also remember to wear clothing that breaths when you’re going to be working up a sweat. In the equation of ‘what is jock itch’ – the biggest mitigating factors are the lack of air and trapped sweat, both of which gives the ringworm a greater chance to grow.

Androgens are actually hormones. Though they often are considered male hormones, they are present in both males and females. Testosterone is probably the most talked about androgen.

Androgens are related to acne because the release of these hormones from the adrenal glands stimulates the sebaceous glands which cause production of sebum which is commonly referred to as oil. Acne develops when the pores of the skin and the hair follicles get clogged with oil, dirt and dead skin cells. It starts out with blackheads that turn into pimples when a bacterium develops and the pore get infected or inflamed.

Body acne is most common in males. Perhaps this is because they produce more androgens than females do which adds to the mix of hormonal related acne. All natural acne body treatment can aid in keeping acne from developing all over your body.

There is not a body acne cure, although some product producers claim to have one. As long as hormones exist and sebaceous glands produce sebum, acne causes will be present. The best that you can do is to control the causes to keep the pores from getting clogged and becoming a preferred place for bacteria to grow.

Many people try an acne body home remedy because medical treatment seems so unhealthy. One of the methods of treatment includes taking hormone drugs orally. Personally, I am opposed to hormone treatments because of the possible side effects. I would rather have acne all over my body than to risk having a stroke or heart attack.

I opt for natural acne treatment. This preference had a lot to do with my development of the all natural acne treatment that we call deMistify. My teenage daughter was experiencing severe acne which was likely somewhat related to hormonal imbalances.

There are tons of products on the market today for treating acne and body acne. Some of them claim to be all natural, but many of them contain parabens which I identified as a no-no long ago. Studies suggest that use of parabens can be related to development of breast cancer. There’s no way I would recommend such products to my daughter. If I did and she did develop breast cancer, I couldn’t live with the fact that maybe I influenced her to use such questionable products.

I got to work trying to develop a natural product that would work to prevent acne from developing without subjecting my daughter to health detrimental ingredients. I wanted the treatment to be simple to use so that she would actually use it daily which led me to develop it into a one-step treatment using a spray. The results were tremendous for her and it also worked for me on adult acne. I passed it around to people who had body acne and guess what? It worked for that too.

If you struggle with acne or androgen body acne, it is worth it to give deMistify a try. In my eyes, it is the best natural acne treatment on the market today! I’m sure you will agree.

Experiencing body acne breakouts can be horrendous. For some people, it has severe effects on self esteem and can even lead to social withdrawal, depression and anxiety. The lesser effects may involve limiting outdoor activities or constantly covering up the breakouts so that nobody sees it. Body acne can also result in permanent scarring.

Most people who have body acne do cover it up which makes others think that it is rare. I assure you, it is not. Many people experience body acne breakouts. It is more common in teenage boys and men, but teenage girls and women sometimes experience it as well.

You will be amazed to know that many students, athletes and even soldiers experience body acne. This type of acne is called acne mechanica. Body acne is caused from pores and hair follicles getting clogged with oil and dead skin cells and being invaded by bacteria. The fact that this range of people put pressure on their skin and traps heat against their body for an extended time through the use of tight clothing, sports equipment or packing supplies such as backpacks, makes them more vulnerable to body acne.

These acne irritating actions cannot be avoided and there is no body acne cure which makes constant acne body treatment necessary to keep the acne under control and to prevent breakouts.

In the medical field of dermatology, there are many types of treatment for acne. Minor breakouts sometimes respond well to topical products that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. More severe forms are treated with antibiotics, oral medication and topical solutions, or even surgery and injections.

Many people are opposed to using such treatments long term to control acne. I am one of them! Since I’m a registered nurse, some people find that odd, but through my training and experience I have witnessed that long term exposure to oral treatments can be bad for you and the body will eventually form a resistance to the medications.

A lot of topical treatments for acne cause sun sensitivity, dry skin and redness of the skin. I passed up the standard treatments for acne a long time ago and started using natural home remedies instead.

I admit, I’m a skin care junkie, so my original home remedy contained many steps and most people fail to stick to such a regime. I knew that it wouldn’t work for my teenage daughter as well as it worked for me because of her natural resistance to consistency. So, I went to work to develop a product for her that was simple to use, yet effective.

The result was deMistify. It is made from organic and all natural ingredients. It can be used as a one-step acne body spray to treat body acne and to prevent further breakouts. The people who have used it to treat body acne have told me that it is an amazing product, much better than other acne body home remedy solutions that they have tried.

While that seems surprising when a person is putting so much time and effort into sculpting a specific look – all the sweat and high testosterone levels both contribute to acne breakouts. Unfortunately if a body builder is in competition, an acne breakout can really damage their chances in judging no matter how chiseled the physique.

The good news is that there are ways to deter acne breakouts and clear them up more quickly when they do occur. The first is very simple: stay clean! Wash using antibacterial soap, but do NOT scrub. Scrubbing can transport acne bacteria to other un-infected areas of skin.

Second, make sure to change your sheets, pillowcases, wash clothes and towels regularly. Add your clothing to that list after sweaty workouts. You want to keep excess oil, sweat and potentially bacteria away from healthy skin. While you’re toning up outside, feed the skin you’re in by drinking water. The Recommended amount is 8-16 cups daily.

No matter how self-conscious you feel about body building acne, resist the temptation to pick at your skin. This can leave scars that also undermine your overall appearance. Make a mental note of your dietary practices. If you notice an acne breakout after eating certain foods the previous day – keep a journal of that. Some people are naturally sensitive to certain edibles that can trigger acne or make it worse. Avoid those foods as much as possible.

There are certain other contributing factors to this type of acne – one being heredity. If someone in your family experienced acne eruptions, you have greater risks of so doing. That means living healthy – doing all those things mom encouraged while you’re bodybuilding. Also avoid stressful situations – there is a difference between being competitive and being tense. Find ways of calming your nerves, like deep breathing exercises.

Exactly what type of body building acne you experience varies from person to person. Many only get blackheads with a few white heads mixed in. This acne is non-inflammatory and pretty simple to treat. The next step up is inflammatory acne, which is where the acne has bacteria that causes irritation and infection, including the potential for cysts.

If you have Body Building Acne, obviously you care about taking care of your body and most likely aren’t too thrilled about having to use commercial products with questionable and irritating ingredients. Our deMistify all natural acne treatment is a very easy to use and very effective treatment for body acne. Because it is a one-step spray on formula – it is super easy to use, even at the gym.

People who suffer with it often wonder how to clear cystic acne, which is one form of acne vulgaris. As the name implies, this severe acne manifests with cysts and nodules far larger than normal acne. Even worse, many people experience pain during an outbreak, which can last weeks and even months.

While it might be tempting to try to clear out a lesion by squeezing it – this is the absolute worst thing you can do. Cystic acne scars very easily. Breaking open the lesions can actually spread the infection as well as damaging your skin.

Cystic acne has the alternative name nodulocystic acne. Like other forms of acne, break outs occur when the oil glands begin over-producing. This oil (sebum) mixes with dead skin and creates pimples and inflammation. In figuring out how to clear cystic acne some physicians discovered that antibiotics help greatly along with Vitamin A. Yellow and orange fruits and vegetables offer a natural source of vitamin A if you prefer edibles over tablets.

Unfortunately the adult hormonally triggered cystic acne is likely to flare up repeatedly. For most people it’s simply a matter of time. Nonetheless, if you know how to clear cystic acne you can help prevent further damage to your sin. If you talk to a dermatologist, a glycolic peel isn’t the best choice for treatment. Your skin is already very sensitive and you’ll have a great deal of peeling. Mind you, the result of the peel is a very youthful, smooth visage that may remain acne free for up to three months.

Some women go on the pill to thwart cystic acne. This does have the potential for clearing up your skin, but of course it’s also altering your hormonal levels. A decision like this is best considered with your personal physician’s assistance.

When it comes to the scarring from acute acne, you want a product that works on healing your skin. Look closely at the ingredient list for potential products. Natural, gentle products are truly your best choice. You don’t need chemicals, fragrances or artificial colors that only irritate your skin further. Our Soothing Body Spray has proven effective time and time again in clearing up post-acne scarring. Our customers use deMistify first to clear up their skin and bring their acne under control and then switch to the Soothing Body Spray to work on scarring.

I think the best way to Clear Cystic Acne is with our all Natural Acne Treatment Spray. deMistify is a one-step treatment that you spray on your skin two to three times a day. It addresses the causes of acne which are hormonal effects on the sebaceous glands, excessive oil, clogged pores from dead cells, development of bacteria, and inflammation. If you can keep these causes under control development of cystic acne can be controlled and prevented.

In certain instances it happens because the prescribed treatment plan wasn’t continued long enough, allowing the bacteria, yeast or fungus a chance to re-establish itself. In other instances a person’s lifestyle or physical condition makes them more prone to reoccurring outbreaks.

Some two thirds of all adult men get a case of jock itch at least once. The good news is that most such conditions can be treated in the privacy of your own home using over-the-counter creams and powders, or even by making a natural home remedy.

Chronic jock itch is described by reddish skin and scales that erupt, calm down, then reappear over the course of time. The most common place for such rashes to appear are anywhere where there’s skin on skin, such as the folds in the groin, or rolls of fat on someone who carries too much weight. These areas get warm and remain moist – the perfect growing environment for yeast and fungus.

Having said that, there are other conditions of which you should be aware that might mimic chronic jock itch. These include contact dermatitis, Intertrigo – which burns along with itching, Erythrasma – which is pinkish and slowly turns brown and eczema . With this in mind, it might be best to have a dermatologist do a test just to make sure you know if it truly is jock itch or another problem, and then treat accordingly.

One way to deter jock itch outbreaks is making sure to shower whenever you’ve been sweating heavily. Take extra care to dry the groin area. Also make sure to use clean wash clothes, towels and wear fresh clothing that isn’t clingy. While this sounds overly simplified, it truly is the best routine to minimize jock itch.

If all your efforts to allay chronic jock itch fail, then you’ll want to get a good product that can ease your discomfort while treating the condition with effective ingredients.

No doubt, if you have Chronic Jock Itch, you have tried everything you can find. So had my husband and so had all of the gentleman who now sear by our Natural Fungal Treatment Foam.
It is an all natural product that my husband and I developed to address his chronic jock itch. He and all of the others that use it love how the light, natural foam immediately soothes the itching and also resolves the problem. Use it two to four times a day until it is resolved, then use every day or every other day to keep it away.
