Rock and Romantic is Isajon jewelry. A melange of glamour and the provocative yet it remains totally chic...

Most of the creations are made using a base of different chains and a mix of material such as chains with pearls and studs, chains and fabric, and chains and wool - rendering the pieces nice and audacious...

This A/W 2012-2013 collection is very art déco style . I love how these

It was one of those cold, drizzly and muddy days in Paris - perfect to slip on a pair of very high heels and head off to the Grand Palais to view Elie Saab's Haute Couture 2012 defilé - for a splash of warmth and feast of color to the wintery city.....

Dressed in black and shocking red, Vanina and I made our way through the usual hustle and bustle, snobbery and air-kisses that take place

Alexis Mabille ain't shy about color and showed it off in all its glory at his Haute Couture 2012 defile. His inspiration? Alexis turned to Proust's quote: "It's only women who do not know how to dress that are afraid of colors. A dress may be brilliant without vulgarity and quiet without being dull" - so the runway at Hotel Shangri-la turned into a session of major color therapy...Alexis

Nissim Ben Aderet - known as the black and white sketch artist, one line, one breath, gave Paris its first taste of his fabulous creations at a vernissage hosted in a magnificent penthouse apartment in the 7th district boasting a top to bottom view of the Eiffel tower in all its linear glory....how appropriate!

The Tel Aviv-based artist is where his linear intertwined world comes to life -

It's impossible to visit New York and not write endless tales of my fashion encounters - especially if I just happen to stumble upon them. Such happened when I was walking along Centre Street and "Allan & Suzi" literally bumped into me - the home of retro-fashion

Seeing the store window from afar I just knew I would love this place! Stepping into this gem was like stepping into the cavern

As you know, Paris Popcorn loves to bring you exclusive scoop about some of our favorite soon-to-be-on-everyone's-wish-list designers, like NY based Kevork Kiledjian. He welcomed us into his studio in Crosby Street which lies in the neighborhood of Nolita. Model Gaelle H Pietri joined me as we were allowed to 'play dress up' as Kevork very kindly let us try on some of his rock-beautiful

Just a quickie to share with you my passion for the Pearl Oyster Bar! It's got to be one of my favorite restaurants in New York - I find their dreamy Pearl Lobster Roll, well simply delicious...

Oh....and as for their Butterscotch Praline Parfait....

I'm a Chihuahua lover - I have 2, Canistrelli and Chupa Chups both who who came along with me to NY. So I took them to visit a boutique tailor made for dogs called Doggy Style. There are two such stores in NY, we stopped at the one in Soho, where Andy the owner showed us around....let's just say that that Canistrelli and Chupa Chups were over the moon to be in this shop, like dogs in a

You have to know that I am a macrobiotic food fan and I try to eat it as often as I can. In the past when I came to NY I tried a bunch of different places but my favorite has got to be Souen...

What is macrobiotic you ask - well quoting Souen's website:

Welcome to Tory Burch's flagship store on 797 Madison Avenue - very recently launched and very recently visited by Paris Popcorn to bring you a sneak peak of this fabulous 19th century 5-storie townhouse.

The interior designed by architect Daniel Romualdez is made to feel like one big cosy-house and apparently incorporates elements of Tory's own abode...so take a seat and make

Forget
croissaints (for just a couple of minutes) as we want to introduce you to one
of New York city's sweetest secrets, the Little Cupcake Bakeshop that
specializes in, you guessed it, CUPCAKES! Vanina just discovered this spot during a something-sweet
craving, “It’s just delicious and the place is tres-mignon! (very cute),
when you enter the shop it’s like fantasy”.

The exclusive Parisian department store, Printemps, has just unveiled this year's Christmas window display and it is a real flight of fantasy!

Karl Lagerfeld's magical touch is behind it all and I literally had to rugby-tackle my way through the crowds just to catch a glimpse....

Naturally it is all Chanel-themed, or rather Karl Lagerfeld-themed - which I found much more amusing actually

One of Vanina's coup de coeur (how do I translate this one? It means falling in love with something impulsively) while in the Big Apple was this fabulous eyewear brand Moscot.

"It's a place to go when you are visiting NY - they can make sur mesure (tailor-make) a pair for you - you choose your model and the color of your glasses and voila! I bought this red pair!"

Gaelle H Pietri and Vanina Colonna at the "Watch the Throne" concert last night

I woke up this morning by a series of very excited text messages on my iphone sent from my Paris Popcorn correspondent Vanina Colonna who's currently in NY reporting on all sorts of ultra-fabulous things...So my text messages went like this:

I just heard that Sonia Rykiel published a dictionary titled "Dictionnaire Déglingué" - quite a tongue twister in English though literally translated it means "dilapidated dictionary" - so I think I will stick with the original French title....

So what is this dictionary all about? Apparently she gives her own personal (and fashionable) definitions to words such as:

"Jambe(s) (n.m.) :

I love the last few days of summer in Paris as everyone sips on the remaining few drop of sun left for the next 7 months....Just one more déjeuner on the terrace, just one more spin around the city in a convertible just one more scoop of that Barthillion ice-cream!

Ladies! Put your shades on and prepare yourselves for some eye-popping beauties we recently discovered - let us introduce you to the Mochila - an ancient handbag authentically born, and knitted by the Wayuu people in Guajira, Colombia....

Each Mochila represents the ultimate expression of the art of knitting of the Wayuu.. it's a representation of one's creativity, intelligence and life

Simply exquisite! Last night I was invited to attend a private defile of the Eres SS12 collection held in their flagship boutique on rue Tronchet - a sensually colorful and classy display of the brand's luxury lingerie and swimwear collection....

What makes it that much more fabulous is that Eres is Chanel's sister brand....so naturally each piece screams (or rather sighs) with allure

I just got word that one of my absolute favourite jewellery designers Vanessa Tugendhaft will be launching a perfume.....with diamonds!

Smelling so good one will literally sparkle...

A perfume and a gem combined - I'm loving this concept! The new Vanessa Tugendhaft eau de parfum is decorated with a unique little treasure: a diamond encrusted Rose. Once the perfume is finished one can
