Pastor’s vacation and study leave:

Reverend Gray will be out at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico for study leave from June 10^th - 25^th.

He will be on vacation July 16-20 and August 25 - September 15. If you have a pastoral emergency, call the church office to find out who is covering for the Pastor during these times.

The deadline for the August newsletter is Sunday, August 23.  Please submit articles to the church office or email them to secretary@parkviewpresbyterian.org.

The next Session Meeting will be held Wednesday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m.  Elders are reminded to notify Rev. Gray or Ron Eckert, the Clerk, if you’re unable to attend.

A special thank you to all the wonderful people who helped with Parent’s Day Out this year.  You made a difference in these little one’s lives. We are looking for someone that would be interested in teaching our Parent’s Day Out next school year. The class meets on Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If interested please see Reinita Thacker.

DEACON’S CORNER

Deacon of the month of June is Anita Hesson (837-5780) 1^st half and Cathy Hill (755-9575)  2^nd half.

Deacon of the month of July is Cathy Hill     (755-9575).

Please contact them during their respective month for any prayer requests you might have, Let any deacon know if there is some way they can offer special assistance to someone in need such as transportation to doctors and/or other appointments.

Keep in mind our shut-ins–they can always use a call or visit.

Also, remember that the first Sunday of each month is Deacon Sunday.  The loose change in the offering basket is for the deacons to help carry out their ministries.

In honor of Mothers Day and Fathers Day, the deacons have donated $200 each to Vacation Bible School and Christian Education.
