Absouletly stunning Japanese bride Kaya had her wedding up in the Sunshine Coast last year in 2011.

Kaya & Dean held a beautiful beach wedding on the Sunshine Coast with many guests flew from Japan.

Kaya wanted a simple elegant look so we have created this style for her.

We have applied air brush foundation for everyone and I had two stylists from our salon IMPREZZ hair and beauty (www.imprezz.com.au) to assist on the day.

It was a very busy morning with 9 guests hair and makeup to do and 3 bridal party!!

We have to complete 12 people's hair and makeup within a few hours! I think we have done extremely well!

It was a privilege to do the bridal hair and makeup in for Singaporean couple Wendy and Colin a few months back.

This time the location was in the fashion city of Australia - Melbourne!

This Singaporean couple are extremely fun and nice to work with!

Colin is actually a doctor and he is a very passionate doctor as well!

He was sharing with us how he was helping out a heart condition patient on the flight coming to Melbourne!! ^^

Their reason they have decided to fly all the way from Singapore to Melbourne for their pre wedding photo shoot was just like many other couples, they met here and fall in love in Melbourne.

When ever I work with Lighted Pixels, it is always an early start for me around 3am!

Can you see the time on the clock behind, when this shoot was taken, it was only around 6:25am!!!

Wendy wanted something simple for the photo shoot so I have kept it quite simple yet elegant for different styles thorough out the shoot!

Been busy with work and

just returned from travelling to Shanghai recently for a makeup competition orgainsed by Shiseido China!!

It was such a great experience as I was the ONLY competitor from Hong Kong who got into the top 20 from 625 competitiors!!!

這次比賽全國共有625位化妝師參加

參加的時候沒有想可以進入複賽20強

而我是唯一代表香港的

真的覺得非常高興 ^^

These are some of the photos that I took after the competition.

My theme that I created was 'Modern Classic'

Using Black and White and Red for this look as they are the ever lasting colours and classic.

Classic look with the modern twist is the idea:

Black long skirt (Classic) with sexy long split at the back and fancy design on the waist line (Modern)
White top (Classic) with wavy design at neck line (Modern)
Eyeliner (Classic) but extended at inner corner and out corner (Modern)
Red Lips (Classic)
Thick eyebrows (Classic and Modern)
Finger waves fringe (Classic) with teased hair at the back (Modern)

We have created a small crowd on NanJing Pedestrian Street

and it got bigger and bigger!!!

The man on the left corner with his camera was taking photos while photographer Davide was doing his work. Even though we requested the guy to stop taking photos but he wouldn't listen!!! So rude!

He finally stopped until after requested like 5 times!!!

就馬上引來不少圍觀的人

他們看到我們在拍照

都以為是不是有甚麼大明星出現

有的還拿出照相機一直拍

相片中左邊的男士就一直不配合

我們多次要求他停止拍攝他都不理

直到我們要求了大概5次他才停

真的是非常不尊重我們！！！

後來只好換地點拍攝

人群也比較少了

Been busy as always! But i have to share this good news with all of you!

I am so honoured to be award 2nd place in this global international online makeup competition!!!

Out of lots of makeup artists from all over the world,

my work came 2nd in the competition.

Its the Silver Award!!

So super happy!

The theme given was Pin Up Babe!
Which is really in fashion at the moment!

So my idea was the Chinese Style Asian Version - Pin Up Babe!

My model was Amy Chen (yes Amy as well)

We had finger waves for her hair

and Chinese dress as the outfit!
And ofcourse the red lips!

Here I was focusing on the work!

Anyway, here's the update!

This is the first time I have been to Montville Sunshine Coast!!

It is such a lovely place at 'Secret on the Lakes'

Yes as its name says, it is a real secret place as we got a bit lost finding our way there ha!

ChiChi and myself drove 2 hours up north to the location!

Since Vanessa was holding her wedding at such a secret place,

she wanted a team of mobile hair and makeup stylists who are specialise in Asian hair and makeup to cater the bridal party.

Vanessa was introduced to us by Karen who had her wedding hair and makeup done by us.

Who had also introduced Mina and Koji to us as well!

Vanessa has very thin shoulder length hair but wanted an up style for her wedding.

Therefore, hair extension was used and applied on her hair to give her a more volume look.

She was very happy with the results.

Gold Coast Mt Tamborine Asian Bridal Hair & Makeup 新娘化妝造型- Janice from Melbourne

What a wonderful time we had!

Met Janice two days before her wedding for the hair and makeup trial for her wedding in Mt Tamborine Gold Coast.

It was a lovely place with a little church.

Janice studied in Brisbane but went to Melbourne for work.

The amazing thing is when Janice was in our salon for the trial, she told me she just found out after booking with us that lots of people from her church in Brisbane actually had wedding hair and makeup done by us!!!! I think we are getting famous ha ^^

Joey and Benson flew all the way from Hong Kong to Brisbane and Gold Coast for 4 days only just for the pre wedding photoshoot.

We were organising everything via emails and phone calls!

We are very proud to be their hair and makeup stylist for the shoot.

Joey's pre wedding photo was split into two separate days

Day 1 - Gold Coast (Hair and Makeup by ChiChi)
Day 2 - Brisbane (Hair and Makeup by Teresa)

As I had two big weddings on both days, therefore I have to arrange two of my very experienced Taiwanese stylists ChiChi and Teresa for Joey.

And she was very happy for our service ^^

Who held a very small ceremony at the UQ lakes!

Cynthia is so amazing that she prepared just about everything for her own wedding.

Even including making her own bouquet!!!

I think she made it like a pro! May be considering opening a florist?
