Today the utility’s 440-square-mile water service territory extends far outside our city limits into the ETJs of several neighboring communities. Transferring these areas located outside of Georgetown’s city limits and ETJ to a private water provider is expected to result in a 60 percent reduction in the amount of water Georgetown will need to purchase by 2070. Austin Ave. The event will feature free snacks, drinks, and giveaways, as well as on-site applications, interviews, and hiring opportunities. The Parks and Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards, swim instructors, camp counselors, and tennis camp instructors. &nbsp;<br><br>Positions are for people age 15 and older. Pay ranges start at $12.50 an hour. The book provides practical exercises, drawing on psychology and personal experience, to help move out of survival mode and into a life of greater connection and joy by learning to listen to our bodies and emotions rather than fighting them.
