Duplicate Poker claims to be a legal skill game and not a game of chance. The way they make this claim is by removing the element of luck from determining the success of a player. At Duplicate Poker the success of each player at a table is measured against another player at another table. The two tables are dealt the same cards so at Duplicate Poker you are trying to outperform another player that has the same cards as you. It sounds complicated but for the player the experience is the same as any other Texas Holdem game. They offer free tables and will fund your real money account with $5 just for opening a free account.

Visit Duplicate Poker for full details

Active Party Poker Bonus Codes

Party Poker may not accept real money players from the United States but for the rest of the world they are still going strong and in addition to poker they offer casino games, blackjack and bingo.

Here are some active Party Poker bonus codes for you and all your friends.

PKRCASH150 30% Deposit Match
PKRCASH25 $25 Free

These codes are guaranteed active through April 2008

If you are in the United States check out Full Tilt Poker Whether you're a seated player or are just watching, you can place a side bet on real money Hold'em and Omaha tables.

A side bet is a bet on whether or not the flop will be all red or all black. (The flop is the first three community cards that are dealt in Hold'em and Omaha.) All red means that all three cards in the flop will be red (diamonds and/or hearts) and all black means that all three cards in the flop will be black (spades and/or clubs). Side bets that are placed will be valid for the next hand that is being dealt.
If you place a side bet on red then:

You will win if the flop is all red (diamonds and/or hearts)

You will lose if at least one of the cards in the flop is black (spades and/or clubs)

Your bet will be returned to you if the flop is not dealt

If you place a side bet on black then:

You will win if the flop is all black (spades and/or clubs)

You will lose if at least one of the cards in the flop is red (diamonds and/or hearts)

Your bet will be returned to you if the flop is not dealt

Visit PartyPoker.com for complete details

Win A Ferrari at PartyPoker.com

Win the drive of your life from PartyPoker.com … and it won’t cost you a penny.

Party Poker is giving away a fantastic Ferrari F430 Coupe in a special freeroll tournament on December 03, 2005.
Here is how you can win a Ferrari:

Download Party Poker's free software and open a real money account.

Register for the Ferrari Qualifier Freeroll tournament.

Play in one of the Ferrari Qualifier Freerolls at 3:50 p.m. EST, every day from Sunday to Friday.

The top 200 players from each qualifier will advance to the weekly Ferrari Satellite Freeroll held on Saturdays at 12:50 p.m. EST.

The top 100 players from each Saturday freeroll will advance to the big Ferrari Freeroll on December 3.

Fasten your seatbelt

If you think this is just another sports car, think again! The total prize pool in this year's World Series of Poker in Las Vegas was $52 million, a poker world record, collected from a field of 5,619 players. The top nine players all received prizes of more than $1 million, and two of those players qualified online at PartyPoker.com.

Aaron Kanter
Aaron Kanter Rides $55 WSOP Step Tournament on PartyPoker.com to $2 Million 4th Place finish in WSOPThe 27-year-old from Elk Grove, CA, known as "AK," is a former bank loan officer who was playing in his very first WSOP. Kanter holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Chico State and was born in California’s central valley. He knocked out last year’s champion Greg Raymer during the tournament. Kanter, now a professional player, began playing poker in high school for dimes and quarters. He's been playing regularly on PartyPoker.com for the past two years. Going into the final day, Kanter was the chip leader with $10,700,000 but was knocked out at 4:00 a.m. when his Ace-9-9, was topped by "Tex" Barch's three jacks on the river.
Kanter, still overwhelmed by the experience, said: "It felt unreal walking into a room with 200 tables and thousands of players, then working my way down to 20, then 10, two and finally, the final table." Kanter, who plans to use his prize money to secure his future with property and investments, will be one of the featured players joining the PartyPoker.com Million V in March 2006.

Andy Black

PartyPoker.com was also the conduit for another player who made the final table. Andrew Black from Ireland won $1.75 million and finished one place below Kanter. To qualify, Black entered a $300 + $28 satellite. Black, nicknamed "The Monk," had been a professional poker player who competed in the 1997 and 1998 WSOPs, but the pressure of high stakes poker and the disappointment of one last bad beat caused him to retire from the game. Black, who holds a law degree from Trinity College, ultimately went to India to become a Buddhist and devote his life to charitable fund raising. Living the aesthetic life of a monk, he lived on minimal money. However, after nearly six years, he returned to Ireland with only €100 euros and started playing poker again on PartyPoker.com, where he was able to build up his bankroll and his self-confidence. He is also currently ranked
10th in the World according to CardPlayer (www.cardplayer.com).

He won his first gold and diamond WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Limit Hold'em
Shootout Friday June 17 for $181,330 and collected his second bracelet last
Friday in the $1,500 NL Hold'em event where he bested 2,013 players, the third
largest field in WSOP history. Seif's victory, which included beating defending
world champion Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, netted him $611,145. Earlier in the
month he placed 53rd in the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em winning $7,475 bringing his
2005 WSOP winnings to date to $799,950.

Seif said, "This has been one of the most thrilling experiences of my life --
it's really just starting to sink in that I've done so well. For the last five
years, I've been trying to win a bracelet at the WSOP so this is a significant
accomplishment for me. It's also a big deal for my mom who maybe will start
saying I'm a pro poker player instead of a lawyer. When I told her I'd won the
first event, she reminded me that my sister Christina just graduated from
college and was off to Harvard Law School. I guess you could say it was all
around a great week for the Seifs!"

Seif, who graduated in the top 10 percent of his class at Loyola Law School
and became an expert trial lawyer in sexual harassment law for national Newport
Beach firm Fisher & Phillips, switched to playing poker professionally in
May 2001. "I had been playing high-stakes poker in public card rooms for many
years when I won more than a half a million in cash games at the 2001 WSOP. That
pretty much made my decision for me."

According to Gian Perroni, AbsolutePoker's poker room manager, "Mark's
back-to-back wins place him in an elite crowd. While the records are being
verified, this may be all-time first in WSOP history and certainly no one has
won back-to-back titles in fields this large. If he wins again, he'll become the
third person in history to win three bracelets in one year. Mark is one of the
best players out there and word is out that he is the one to beat. We are proud
to have him as part of Team AbsolutePoker."

Nine players competed In Friday's event to win the WSOP bracelet and the
$611,145 top prize.

Mark Seif, Incline Village, NV $611,145

Minh Nguyen, Lake Elsinore $329,975

Bill Gazes, Miami, FL $202,790

Webber Kang, Dallas, TX $175,010

Peter Lee, Queens, NY $147,230

Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, Stonington, CT $119,450 (Defending World Champion

Steve Carter, Frisco, TX $91,670

Steve Rassi, Morton, IL $63,895

David "DevilFish" Ulliot, Hull, U.K. $47,225

According to Nolan Dalla, WSOP media director, "Mark Seif has paid his dues
in this game. For years Mark has done it all. He's won several tournaments, made
several final tables and finished high in the money several times. Up to now,
the only thing that has eluded him has been the gold bracelets at the WSOP. Mark
has not only fulfilled that dream, but he did it twice. He now joins an elite
group of poker players who have won twice. It is an honor well deserved."

CardPlayer Magazine posted the game's progress and the following is the
play-by-play from the log for final and winning hand number 184:

"Nguyen has the button, he limps, Seif raises to $100,000, Nguyen raises to
$600,000, Seif pushes all in, and Nguyen calls. Nguyen shows Ad-10d, but Seif
has pocket kings (Kc-Kd). Nguyen is the shorter stack, facing possible
elimination on this hand. The flop comes Kh-7h-4c, and Seif has flopped a set of
kings. The only way Nguyen will survive is if he catches a jack and a queen on
the last two cards for a straight. The turn card is the 9c, and Nguyen is
drawing dead. Minh Nguyen is eliminated in second place, earning $329,975.

"Mark Seif wins Event #22 ($1,500 No-Limit Hold'em), earning $611,145 and his
second World Series of Poker bracelet this week."

About Absolute Poker
Absolute Poker http://www.absolutepoker.com/main.asp?host=a_77a_5391b_2711 with thousands of
active players at all times, is the fourth largest online poker
destination. With an estimated prize pool of $10 million, PartyPoker.com™ Million V is going to be their most amazing tournament yet.

As every year, the PartyPoker.com™ Million V is going to be a LIMIT Hold'em tournament. The cruise is going to take place from the 11th of March to the 18th of March 2006. More details will be posted at a later stage.

With the estimated $10 million prize pool they have planned for next year's tournament, you're going to want to be part of all the action! The best way to ensure you're at that final table is to qualify online through PartyPoker.com™. Hone your skills and secure your place on next year's cruise: play in the second set of Semi-Finals in July.

Of course, the celebration has ended after this year's electrifying PPMIV final, which saw six players battle it out for first place. Speaking of firsts, this tournament marked the first time during the regular season World Poker Tour™ that two players would be able to top the million-dollar mark.

With a total prize pool of $7.43 million and 735 players, PPMIV really was anyone's to win when the cruise ship Oosterdam sailed from San Diego pier. However, on the final table, it all came down to two players and a calculating battle of youth versus maturity. Youth won out as Michael Gracz, a 24-year-old recent graduate of North Carolina State, outlasted 54-year-old rocket engineer David Minto of Alamogordo, New Mexico to claim the $1.5 million first prize. Minto had to console himself with the $1 million second place award.

Of the 735 players who took part in the world's largest Limit Texas Hold'em tournament, 668 qualified online at PartyPoker.com™. These online qualifiers won their $10,200 buy-in to the finals and a cruise for two by winning preliminary online satellite tournaments with entries starting from $8. In addition to Gracz and Minto, more than 180 players cashed in on the massive prize pool.

Click here for more information on this year's event.

Party Poker Invites You to the Poker Den

PartyPoker.com invites you to their exclusive Poker Den.
