Father's Day

Hi family,
Dean, Nessi, and I went to St. George for Father's Day weekend. It was great to be with Lois and Chelsea & family for a few days. The villa is relaxing and wonderful, and we got our batteries recharged. Gram has brand-new cabinets in her garage, and they will be perfect for storage once she gets moved down here permanently. I could just imagine Pop strutting around stroking them! He would love them! I hope all the daddy's in our big family had a good day...we love you and admire you for all the great things you do for us each and every day.

Tomorrow is Maly's graduation and I am very excited for her. I still have a hard time with the fact she is old enough to graduate though. Rylee gets his license next week, he is so proud to drive Pop's truck. It really means a lot to him, thanks Aaron. Emi just moved in to a very cute house with some girls. I met one and she was nice. I think she'll have a great time. I'm proud of her for all her accomplishments. I feel so lucky to have such great siblings!
Hope everyone is staying warm in this weather. I have my heater on in my office:)I can't believe this weather! Well at least I don't have to do yard work ;)

I am very proud of my little sister for graduating high school! She is such a beautiful girl and now she is ready to conquer the world! I cannot believe she is 18...I remember her being a baby. I just love her so much more than words can express. I am getting teary eyed just thinking about how much she and my other siblings mean to me. I am very grateful for them and the opportunity to be their big sister.
Sorry if this blog makes anyone sick ;) I just feel very emotional about my little family today.

Summer is Here!! ...but I hear its leaving again soon.

The 90+ degree weather will be dropping down to the mid-60s later this week. I even heard Las Vegas has a "severe heat warning" in effect... is there such a thing for Las Vegas ? I thought that was a given ?

We've been out doing yard work during these warm days and trying to get our yard presentable. We finally got our garden planted too - now just hoping we can keep everything alive. We're growing tomatoes, jalapeños, peppers, cilantro, onions... everything to make a great salsa! We'd be happy to share too!

I've started Summer Semester at Weber - although one of my classes is being held at SLCC on Redwood. Its funny how SLCC is a "satellite location" for Weber - at least a few rooms are anyway.

Thanks Britnee for the motivation to write a little something on here... I need to write more often (on this and my own blog). I sometimes find it hard to think of things to write, but then anything is better than nothing, huh! Hope you're all doing well.

I got 98.5% on my Micro-economics midterm! What a relief! I was worried I wouldn't pass, so getting an A was excellent news. Let's see, what other news...I'm still fighting a cold, not fun. Oh Miss Maly is going to her Senior Prom Saturday, can you believe it? I am so happy for her. I can't believe it's been nine years since mine...yikes!

Hi Family!

It looks like I'm not the only one you hasn't been using this blog often enough. Thank goodness for Aunt Lisa, always holding us together. I really appreciate you Lis and everything you do for our family. I am getting ready for a midterm, and I am worried I'm not going to do so good. I was in Cancun last month at this time, and I wish I was there now! I have less than a year left of school. I cannot wait, after switching my major enough I finally am close to being done. Watch out world here comes Britnee with her BS in Business Administration minor in Human Resource!
Oh! My house is offically painted and updated! All the traces of gold are gone, thank goodness. Too bad I didn't know gold was going up in price, I could have used the money for tuition ;)

Easter Already?

Seems very strange to be celebrating Easter in March. Especially since we are still in the "winter mode" around here most days..cold and unsettled. How can we have an Easter egg hunt in our coats and gloves? We'll try to make the best of it any way. At least there is a hint of spring in the air, and that brings us hope.

Its a cold, ~~rainy~~ (actually SNOWING now) day here in Woods Cross - so I thought I'd check in on the blogs.

I've added links on the blogroll (favorites list to the right) for those that I know have blogs - If you have one and would to list yours on here as well, send me an email at boyntonsweb@gmail.com and I'll add it.

Also, if you haven't gotten familiar with RSS "Subscribe" Feeds, I would suggest you look into them. Its like subscribing to your favorite blogger - and you're notified whenever they post something new on their site. That way you don't have to open up everyone's blog every day to see if they added something. A simple Google search should teach you enough about RSS Feeds, but if you'd like to know more I'll be happy to show you how they work.

Hey Family! I guess I haven't used this recently because I forgot my username and password! But I figured it out, so here I am! Aaron...I LOVE your new web design website! It's really cool! I wanted to ask you if you have recieved an email from a Kathy from St. George? She's Robby's mom Cindy's friend that wants to start up a little business. Then I was thinking I would maybe like some help either with a family website for the Stephenson's that maybe has some of my "crafty" things in it for custom made projects or something (picture frames, diaper bags...etc)....anyway, we'll talk more about that!
Anyway...it's raining sideways right now here in Brian Head, and we're just waiting for SNOW to start falling...it just looks like one of those days! Oh, we just have the prettiest view of the mountain side and watching the storms come in is really cool!
Linds...I love your new Blog site, it's such a great idea for your cute stories and "ramblings" that we are all sure to love to read about you and your cute little girls!
I know Gram is traveling up north today, and I hope she is safe and protected in this stormy weather. We are meeting her for lunch in Parowan before she heads up!

So I have great news today. Our sweet little baby has turned and is now facing the right way. Also, my doctor scheduled me for an induction on August 9th. We are so anxious to see this little one!!! Now just to come up with a name.

Also, I'm posting some pics that Lisa sent me from Nana's tea party that Ally was invited to yesterday. It looks like it was a lot of fun. Ally is still talking about it this morning. Thanks Nana!!!!

We've been in hot St. George for the weekend (for Anna's mission farewell) and tonight we are having Ken Nelson (he took our wedding pics) take our family pictures! We're having them done in New Harmony, with the KOLAB beautiful mountains behind us! I hope I am doing this right! I am enjoying my summer by painting my house. It looks fantastic, I absolutely love it. My little family and I had a BBQ and watched our own fireworks for the 4th. It was fun to be together. Right now, we're preparing for two weddings on the Carter side in August. I am very excited for Sandy (Dave) and Kevin (Jennifer). But I am counting down the days until I go to the Bahamas and Miami for a week in August! I've really needed a fun vacation. Thanks Aaron for setting up a site for our family.
