In the last few years things have been less than stellar for me. Now I’m not half as good as this whole “positive thinking” racket as Bill but I’m trying to follow his lead here. I know that Thanksgiving was in November but regularly reminding yourself of that which you have to be thankful for certainly doesn’t hurt.

1. I live in the greatest, most free nation on Earth.
2. Though it’s a struggle sometimes I provide for all my own needs.
3. I don’t go to sleep hungry at night.
4. I’ve got a full range of motion control. Think about it, allot of people don’t. If you don’t have to get into a wheelchair to get around then you’ve got something to be thankful for.
5. I have all my senses still. Again, allot of people don’t.
6. I don’t have any non-curable disease.
7. I’ve got job I don’t hate.

These are just a few things but it gives you an idea of what to consider when making a list of your own. We become obsessed with the things that are wrong in our lives and never stop to think that all things considered our lives really aren’t that bad. You don’t live in Darfur. You don’t have one of the new super strains of STD going around. You don’t have Multiple Sclerosis. No matter what difficulty you’re currently experiencing things could be worse so try being thankful for what you’ve got. It really will brighten your day.

It’s the FAIR TAX, not Evangelicals Stupid!

Are pundits, political hacks, bloggers and the media stupid or just flat out liars? I keep reading and hearing over and over again that the reason Huckabee is doing so good in the presidential primaries is because of evangelical votes. That has got to be the most dishonest load of horse squeeze that I have ever heard. The reason and almost the only reason Huckabee is doing so well in the Republican primaries is:

He is not a Democrat
He is not Ron Paul
and the FAIR TAX!

I know most of you lying ass special interest shitheads will melt like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz if you say the words FAIR TAX, but say it with me now,

FAIR TAX

If Fred Thompson stays in the race I will be voting for him, my second choice for the Republican nominee is Huckabee. Before you say it believe me I know Huckabee is not a conservative, no candidate but Fred Thompson is, but if I had to choose one other candidate that has even one thing going for them it would be Huckabee for supporting the FAIR TAX. I am not anywhere close to an evangelical, (I’m an atheist) and even I know the single most amazing change we could make in this country is the FAIR TAX.

If Fred Thompson came out tomorrow and said he read the FAIR TAX book thought about it and decided it was a great idea and as president he would try and pass the FAIR TAX he would win the Republican nomination is a landslide.

Less than a week ago I watched a movie called Flood that showed what might happen if a giant tidal wave hit London. Minutes ago Drudge put up this headline.

It is a known fact that conservatives want to destroy America and bring back the good old days of Nazi death squads and concentration camps. Many of us conservatives believed that Fred Thompson would be the best conservative candidate to usher in our new Third Reich. I’ve come to realize that if we really want to destroy America in the quickest and most efficient way we must elect Ron Paul as ~~Chancellor~~ President of North America.

Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate that could really destroy this country. Ron Paul will do the job other presidential candidates just won’t do. If anyone out there actually cares about the Republican party and its values (controlled demolitions, setting up a police state, and making Guy Fawkes Day a national holiday) then you ought to be supporting a candidate like Ron Paul.

Ron Paul wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade so that we can have more babies to fill our ovens.
Ron Paul understands that we must go back to the gold standard because wallets are just not heavy enough. Hell a hundred dollar bill weighs the same as a one dollar bill and that’s what THEY want you to believe. After Ron Paul takes us back to the gold standard your muscles will ache when you carry your paycheck and that’s good for your health.
Ron Paul understands that we must stop the Bilderberg Group’s takeover of the earff! Bilderberg is a stooopid name for the earff. Ronulus sounds like a real name for a planet.
Ron Paul knows that 911 was an inside job and understands that the only way to destroy America is from the inside and he is the only person that can do that. Ron Paul knows that terrorists are too stooopid to fly planes. Building 7 was not even hit by a fake plane. Google it. You can’t handle the troooooof, but ~~Overload~~ Ron Paul can!
Ron Paul knows that America cannot walk and chew bubble gum at the same time so we have to stop the illegal war in Iraq now and bring our military home so they can protect the constitution that is under attack by Bohemian Grove lizard people.
Ron Paul knows that it is important to have credible rational people in his cabinet so he will appoint Alex Jones as his press secretary. Ron Paul will pass a constitutional amendment to make Alex Jones’ ENDGAME mandatory viewing in all schools. You might as well watch it now so you too will know the trooooof.

Like many conservative voters I believed that Hillary Clinton would be the best candidate to vote for if you wanted Anytown USA to more closely resemble the splendid depression and living conditions of any Russian town or city. While it is true that a Hillary Clinton presidency will lead to toilet paper rationing and neighbors spying on neighbors, Hillary is not America’s best hope for self destruction. Ron Paul is America’s best hope for self destruction.

P.S. Rumors of my absence have been circulating the internet. I just wanted to clear the air and explain my absence. I was being held in a Ron Paul re-education camp and I just broke free. For any of you that find yourselves locked in a Ronulan rEVOLution brainwashing basement unplug your Paulbot’s internet connection and after a month or so they will be completely confused and open to rational suggestions. At that point you can trick them into taking a shower and when they open the door you can escape.

The primaries (unfortunately) are almost on top of us with Super Tuesday coming on February 5th. Now even though the candidates for the parties may seem to be predetermined by this point, get involved anyway! People like to complain about the selections they end up with but did you really do anything to try and make a difference otherwise?

The worst thing we could do as a society would be to just give up and let whatever happen cause that’s when “the fix” really will be in.
