I would love to get a copy. The book sounds like it gives a reasonable counter perspective to some of the issues that normally do not get debated within faiths. The assumption that gays and lesbians cannot find a faith because of their sexuality has always struck me as being a little close minded.

Thanks for the comment, Benjamin. I had thought of that, but didn’t think it would be necessary. I think I found a simple solution: your two friends simply need to put “Referred by [Your Name]” in the About Yourself field in their profile so we can verify you as the referrer.

This sounds great. One comment of concern: I know that we’re all ministers/minister types here, but you might consider a way to identify the referral. There are a number of us out there who would take advantage emailing that we referred any number of people whose name looked new on the review listing. Is there a way to keep us honest?

You’ve got a point there, Sam. Looking more closely at Baker’s listing, it seems that Acts isn’t technically ‘published’ until October. I assume the purchase feature is still working, but I think you’re right–the book wouldn’t ship for a few weeks. Sorry for the confusion!
