We are kicking off the New Year with a series about Change.  If there is one thing that Americans are interested in, it’s Change.  Many people will make long lists of New Years Resolutions only to throw the list away a week or two after the New Year.  We are “Ready for Change” but sometimes we have trouble producing it.  Why is that?  What does the Bible say about Real Change and some of the popular New Years resolutions that people have?

We’re starting a NEW series this Sunday that I’ve been excited about for a long time.  So many people complain about churches because they don’t answer the questions that people are asking.  Well, at Experience Life, that’s about to change.  We are going to answer all kinds of questions that people have asked me in my first year of pastoring this church.  We will address questions that relate to God, the church, and sin.

Bring your friends!  You won’t want to miss it.  It is going to be awesome!

Ephesians 3:20-21 - “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever! Amen.”

God told Habakkuk in the Old Testament that He was going to do something so incredible in his day that he wouldn’t believe it even if someone told him.  If someone would’ve told us what God would do over the last few weeks and over this last year, we wouldn’t have believed it.  All that to say, dream big, pray big, and be amazed by what God will do!

Our Saturday Night Service launched with 525 people which left us with standing room only. Everyone could sense that God was going to do something incredible and He did! You’ll have to check out the video on our website.

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, Sunday morning exploded. We had our largest service ever at 11am with 650 people. Check out the photo below. People were sitting on rails, benches, and pool tables. It was incredible!

It’s hard to believe. Experience Life is turning ONE! We are going to pull out all the stops in order to celebrate. Here’s what we’re doing on the weekend of September 6-7.

1. NEW Saturday Night Service - starting September 6th, we are launching a Saturday Night Worship Service at 5pm. We will now have 3 identical services - Sat @ 5pm & Sun @ 9:30 & 11am.
2. LIVE CD Recording - the Experience Life Worship Band will be recording their first album on September 6th after our 5pm Worship Service. We will have FREE pizza and cokes for everyone who comes!
3. NEW Series - Bringing Sexy Back - we are kicking off the Fall with a NEW series on relationships. You won’t want to miss this, so join us and bring the special somebody in your life.
4. Pool Party & Cookout - on Sunday, Sept 7th, we are inviting families to bring their kids to church in their swimming suits. After the 11am service, we will have lunch together as a church and let the kids swim.

Movies?  In church?  You better believe it!  Beginning August 10th and lasting through August 31st we will be bringing the latest blockbusters to our Worship Gathering at Experience Life.  Each week we will show clips of these movies and talk about some of the spiritual applications that can be drawn from them.

This will be an INCREDIBLE series and definitely one you won’t want to miss.

This is also a great series to bring your friends to that don’t regularly attend church.  I think that everyone will find that this will be very relevant to their everyday lives.

Summer is a time where we are often reminded of how much we need a vacation.  Life is stressful.  Work is crazy.  We need to get away!  We need to REST!  But… how do we find rest in a world that pushes us to work ourselves to death?  That’s what we are going to talk about during this upcoming series.  If you are stressed out and needing a break, you won’t want to miss this!

Join us on Monday Night @ 7pm at the Sportsplex as we unite together in prayer.  It is an extremely casual & relaxed time and no one is asked to pray out loud or do anything uncomfortable.  We simply mention prayer requests and people pray as God leads.
