<p>So with a fabric line called 'Bobbins and Bits" there has to be a name with SEW in it for one of my new patterns!  Sew Happy is a splash of little baby sewing baskets.. adorable eh? I love them!  This one is on the pattern cover. It was appliqued by my good friend Roberta and the quilt was quilted by Cindy of Pink Paw.  Let's take a closer look at the quilting.</p>
<p>
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb3338ac970d-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Pat sloan Sew Happy pattern basket weave" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb3338ac970d" src="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb3338ac970d-500wi" style="width: 480px;" title="Pat sloan Sew Happy pattern basket weave"></img></a></p>
<p>Cindy came up with the idea of this basket weave.. holy moley is it fantastic!! I want this done on my quilts more often!</p>
<p>
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb333ecd970d-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Pat Sloan Sew Happy grey border" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb333ecd970d" src="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef017eeb333ecd970d-500wi" style="width: 480px;" title="Pat Sloan Sew Happy grey border"></img></a></p>
<p>The other version is in batiks and was appliqued by Lina and quilted by Shelly of Prairie Moon.  </p>
<p>
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef0191022bd0bf970c-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Pat Sloan Sew Happy bubbles" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c976153ef0191022bd0bf970c" src="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef0191022bd0bf970c-500wi" style="width: 480px;" title="Pat Sloan Sew Happy bubbles"></img></a><br><br></p>

<p>ok.. here is the real deal.. the quilting DOES take your top to another level when you approach it as designing the 'next level' on your piece. </p>
<p>
<a class="asset-img-link" href="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef01901c330a6a970b-pi" style="display: inline;"><img alt="Karlee porter" class="asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c976153ef01901c330a6a970b" src="http://patsloan.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c976153ef01901c330a6a970b-500wi" style="width: 470px;" title="Karlee porter"></img></a></p>
<p>Karlee Porter, won third place in the Utah’s Own quilt category for her 'Shimmering Symphony quilt'. She quilted this on an HQ sit-down machine... which means you can quilt like this on your machine! It's all about the artistry, not necessarily the machine</p>
<p>I really want to go to this show <a href="http://www.hmqs.org/">http://www.hmqs.org/</a> and examine the quilts. See how each quilter takes the piece to the next level.  </p>
