Seed of Transformation

Many people seek transformation in their lives. They try all kinds of different things to find it, but alas it never comes. Why did these people fail? Because they are looking for something to happen to them, not something they have to do themselves.

Some people meet with Guru's who are happy to do a few tricks for them and create an emotional experience for them that they will remember for the rest of their lives. But emotional experiences are worthless to help you in a transformation. Likewise some people will read books, watch movies, listen to great music, have great sex - but it doesn't help with transformation. Some people choose the route of logic. They learn all they can about various subjects, even try to do some of the methods prescribed by the logic, but there is no transformation.

One problem with the methods above, they all look for transformation as an event in their life. Except for a few rare life changing events, like near death experiences, transformation doesn't happen all at once. The other problem, and this is key, they don't know what they are transforming into. They may be seeking knowledge, or live free of the bonds of certain problems they had, or even power, but they don't really know what that means. If you don't know the destination you are just wandering.

What all these are missing is the seed of transformation. The seed is an idea, correctly implanted in your person that causes the transformation over time. You are only open to these seeds in rare times, so the timing has to be exact. Also, these seeds don't always grow by themselves. They need reinforcement and nurturing, and expanding upon the original idea. It is not simple.

To reach nirvana completely by oneself is certainly possible, but highly unlikely. It usually pays to first know where you are going. Find a path that takes you there. Be absolutely sure of that path, since the wrong path can take you where you don't want to go. Then work that path with discipline. This takes time. Any shortcuts can do more harm than good. If someone promises you a shortcut, run.

Color and Light

Just a short note about a few great new articles on color. One from Tabatha Cicero here which introduces here new article in Hermetic Virtues magazine, Spring 2012. Another from Morgan Eckstein here. And another here from Frater A.M. My previous post on the Dark Side of Light relates to the colors, although not explicitly. Color is just different frequencies of Light, much in the same way as musical notes are different frequencies of sound. Everything in the Song of the Universe breaks down into frequencies. Color relates to everything, either through direct frequency correspondence or through harmonics of frequencies. There are also color combinations that act as resonating frequency keys to other things or beings (Although since everything is composed out of the original complex time energy that is also spirit and awareness, isn't everything aware?)

Griffin is just freaking nuts. If you continue to support him it's your own karma you are damaging. I care, but if you aren't willing to open your eyes I can't make you.

First Teachings of Elvis Series: Anger

When I was in my first life, I let emotions control me. Now I control them. I want you to listen to how bad I got:

I let anger overcome me. Also, see how I was trying to hide the truth of my drug use. I could not admit it. And when confronted with drug use, I conflated the response to tell them they were insulting everyone I knew. I was desperate and I hoped by acting self righteous that would not only shame them into shutting up, but also bring other people in to help support me. I was wrong!

Now I know better and I'm here to help others to avoid my mistakes. Anger is of the animal mind. The animal mind is the mind that you think you are, but it is not really you. The real you is above you watching what the animal mind does and trying to guide you. Ever have a mundane dream where you can't believe what your are doing in the dream. Well that's like the real you and the animal mind. It's the you that isn't really you. It is the you that functions to survive in the mundane and should be connected to your higher you. But in this ole world, things have gone wrong. Our ego's make us think the animal mind is all there is.

Now when anger comes upon you, you can feel it starting. It will be a warm feeling like a burning love, but it isn't love. It's something else. It's something bad. When you first feel it is the time to stop it. Just let it slide on by. If let yourself feel it then it will feed on itself. Your animal mind is altered by anger, it changes your reality. The first thing it does is make you feel justified in being angry. You think about being justified and it just feeds more anger and it becomes a big loop. Anger will give you focus, but it is the wrong kind of focus.

This is the first lesson from your old friend Elvis, don't let anger overtake you. It will also be the hardest lesson to learn.

The Dark Side of Light

The Elvis post wasn't all just for fun. It acts as a segue to this post. Elvis may even pop up again in this one.

In the past I claimed time was the zeroth dimension. I intend to expand on that and push that concept to other dimensions. Before I can do that I need to give the readers a primer in string theory. This will be easier if I just include some videos that help.

First here is a video that help you start thinking in 10 dimensions. It isn't an exact match to the string theory dimensions, not to the tree of life (the place I'm headed with this thought). I would recommend turning annotations off at least for the first time you watch this.

Here we get a bit more meat. But remember I'm postulating time as the zeroth dimension. Also, note the Elvis reference.

Here we get a short introduction from one of my favorite physicist Michio Kaku. Notice the Elvis post tie-in in this too.

Time is not a spatial dimension. In fact, what we call time is merely a direction in some type of dimension; a direction we experience as a duration. I have postulated time is the zeroth dimension. What does that mean? Time is the raw energy that everything else is made of. But not just the direction/duration that you experience time as. That time direction is an element of the full raw energy of time, but it is not the complete concept.

Back to string theory for a second, everything in the omniverse is a vibration in some energy matrix. That matrix itself is what I am referring to as the raw energy of time. I want to give this a name, lets call it complex time. And to separate our normal concept of time, lets call that directional time. When you think of the first energy vibrating at a point, the vibration needs directional time to be able to change. So you can see that time exists before the first dimension of space.

It is also said that movement is spirit. You can have no movement without time. And complex time exists as the raw energy of everything. This indicates that spirit and complex time are intertwined. I would go so far as to say they are the same thing, or at least aspects of the same thing. If one uses the terms before, or in the beginning, one is acknowledging complex time's existence.

So we get to the Word, or Logos, or as I like to call it the Song of the Universe. This is the vibrations of energy that make up everything. You may look solid, but that is only because you aren't looking at the atomic level. You are made of no different stuff than that photon of light that is hitting your eye right now from reading this blog. Everything in the omniverse is but a song of vibrations withing the complex time energy. This song is travelling in a direction that you experience as directional time. Some think of the origin of this song as the holographic seed of the universe.

When we compare the Tree of Life and the 10 dimensions of string theory there is an obvious correlation of dimensions to Sephirah, although the correlation and numbering is an area that needs further study. I don't think I would put the spatial dimensions we experience at the top of the tree, but then again this is up for study.

So we have the Song of the Universe going out through complex time, creating the 10 spatial dimensions of string theory, but that is not all they are creating. They are also creating 10 dimensions of spiritual beings and 10 dimensions of awareness. This image also helps us to see that the spiritual beings are not truly hierarchical, as in a kings court, but more like organs in your body, and parts of organs, and cells of the organs. Each may be a harmonic, a note, a chord, or whole phrase of a the Song of the Universe.

Changing back to the concept of matter for a second. Matter is also a 'chord' in complex time. This goes down to the atomic level. There really isn't a material thing called an electron, it is just a vibration in this energy that we perceive as moving around something. Start with the atom and it's protons and electrons as being a single note. Put them all together and you get the 'chord' that you see as the material world.

What is light? Light is just a bit of the note from an atom, moving out away from the atom. When an atom vibrates with lots of energy, it many times emits these little packets of notes, or as they are called in physics photons. The stuff of light is contained inside of matter. Matter is the dark side of light.

In spiritual matters we use light as a metaphor for what amounts to all the energy in creation. This is an apt metaphor, since the energy of vibrations of the Song of the Universe is the same energy that is light. Extending this metaphor to the complex time concept, complex time (and spirit) is the matrix that everything exists within. Light is the part of that matrix which causes the vibrations that create the Song of the Universe.

Using this concept as a starting point we can go into many magical concepts. I intend to expound on some of these in later blog posts.

Historic Announcement

Elvis Aloha from the Future

Elvis has announced he will do a live holographic show to be broadcast in this time. The venues will be announced later but it will be a one time only show (multiple shows will create a time rift).

Elvis will be showcasing a new song called Great Scott, inspired by a silver headed man he met who was getting out of a flying DeLorean as Elvis walked by. The man saw Elvis, exclaimed Great Scott, then fainted. It was this man that inadvertently gave Elvis time travel technology. We may never know his name.

Also will be played is a new time travel song called "Man, are you hungry? I haven't eaten since later this afternoon."

On stage will be Elvis's new pet ape named Caesar, this is the most amazingly intelligent ape you have ever seen. He will even be singing along with the backup singers.

As a backup band, he will have the Wild Stallions who are part of his inner circle. Be excellent to each other.

After the music there will be a ritual. Members of the order, called the Band, will gather on stage. It will be an extended ritual with various members having a Solo. Elvis will be leading as First Chair.

Dates and locations will be announced later.

BTW: Everyone might want to stay away from Punxsutawney, Pa. Some of the first time experiments set up a time loop there where 1 day continuously repeats itself.

David Griffin Caught Lying

In his latest blog Flimflam Griffin claims to have tried to post a comment to my site that he never did [This was actually based on a facebook post by S.R. where he feared he would not get a post through on this blog. The forum post is not about David trying to post and not getting it through, but David lying and saying I did not let one of S.R.'s post through]. Anyone who tried to post to my site, except one abusive poster who his/her name was Nemesis, got their post through and There we some indicators that Nemesis was Griffin though, he does like to use sockpuppets. I let David Griffin, under his real, post on the forum and responded to him, would have been happy to let him post again. Nemesis, a possible alter ego, was vile and abusive though. So there were about 5 posts from him/her that did not go through and they were the ONLY ones not approved. Also EVERY post by S.R. was approved.

Everyone that reads this. You were on my blog the last couple of days. I told you Griffin likes to stir up shit. Can you see what he is trying to do that here? Do you really think he is the spiritual leader you want to tie up your karma with?

On Edit: Reading his blog there are more lies. Anyone can read my previous blog post and comments and see Griffin is lying. We know he lies about sockpuppets because of Frater WA on amazon.com. If I was petty I might create some artwork with his nose growing big and his pants on fire, but I don't want to stoop to that level.

[BTW: Isn't is the least bit troublesome to anyone, that Griffin heavily censors his forums and blog, then throws stones making false claims about others]

On Edit again: S.R. says that his concern about being censored was in advance of him posting here. I can understand that and believe that. But Griffin took that claim, after his posts were actually posted, and is trying to stir up the fecal matter.

Black Knight of the Golden Dawn

If anyone was wondering why the GD community thinks of Flimflam Griffin as a douchey wanker just read over his latest blog post [On edit: this wasn't his post but a guest post under the title of his mulitpart 'saga' - apologies for any miss-attribution] This is clearly an unprovoked attack. It has been never ending stream of these type of attacks, where if one stands up to the attack they will be accused of starting a flame war. I see Griffin like the Black Knight in Monte Python and the Holy Grail, the one that gets his arms and legs chopped off and denies it. He provokes the fight, gets his ass handed to him, then is still saying 'it is but a scratch' and provokes more. Of course logic in the argument never comes into the picture. Who else could claim someone else was clearly attacking him because they left something ambiguous, can you say cognitive dissonance. He just writes his attack to try to be as smarmy as possible and throws up many meme's hoping one will catch on. I think this latest post will be transparent to everyone though. It is clear what he is doing now.

What is a Traditionalist

I want to thank Frater A.M. for this link. In this essay is an interesting sub-discussion about what is a Traditionalist. I will let the article speak for itself, but will take a few quotes from it.

Traditionalism is a right wing, reactionary, upper-middle class and pseudo-aristocratic religion composed mostly of arm-chair, suburbanite and academic ‘metaphysicians’ (as they pretentiously call themselves) who long for a return to archaic eternal worlds of their own imaginations.

The first point that should be made is that the very notion of a "tradition" as used by the traditionalists is questionable. Traditionalism, is a "Manufactured Mythology", an invention. As Eric Hobsbawm and Terence Ranger have shown in their bookThe Invention of Tradition, traditions are not born like Athena from the head of Zeus or impregnated though the ear of a Virgin Mary but rather are political entities dressed up as metaphysic truth. Traditions are based on various habits and misunderstandings of the historical record, sometimes going back only a few generations, sometimes longer. Hobsbawm and Ranger's book attempts to show how many traditions have been deliberately invented often to highlight or enhance the importance of a certain institution.

While before I didn't have a good idea what a Traditionalist was, it only had elements of this definition. But I can see this definition also. I think in hind site, the fuzzy ideas I had before was someone trying their best to re-enact old ways. But it didn't get into the mindset of the re-enactment. This is something to ponder upon.

David Griffin was Right, Conspiracy Unveiled

I am going to divulge a great secret. A secret of of immense global proportions. There is a conspiracy against David Griffin. Griffin holds the key to prevent a future order from flourishing and we have been sent here to stop him. To explain I need to start with Elvis.

When Elvis died, people from your future went back in time and got his body. They reanimated his body and he surprised everyone with these new and wondrous teachings. A fantastic new magical order was formed called the Singing Order of the Revived Elvis. In this order there are wonderful rituals that will cause a person's heart to grow three sizes in a single day. A major difference in S.O.R.E and your modern day orders is everything is sung accompanied by a 12 piece orchestra and 7 dancers for each ritual. The only challenge to S.O.R.E. is Griffin's sexual alchemy. Why would people want to sing for enlightenment when they can just copulate.

So Elvis went to skry-net and sent back in time a rag tag group of warriors to stop Griffin. Our leader is called Bad Horse and is stationed at Volkoff Industries. And he gives out our orders through the 4 muses Juliette, Oscar, Kilo, and Echo. We are here with only one purpose, to stop sexual alchemy from making it to the future. We will not stop, resistance is futile. We are in time - fight the future.

And yes, the rumors of a Griffin-door are true. It is a last resort portal to take him to the future.

And no, Elvis is not a zombie.

If I Must...

I probably should just ignore it, but on David Griffin's blog I was called out and my attempt to respond was censored. And to paraphrase Anakin Skywalker - I am a slow learner (context is import for that reference). So here is the response I wasn't allowed to post.

Because I may find David Griffin's antics inappropriate does not mean I am attacking your order. I am not a member of any order and view this whole debacle from outside. From this perspective it looks like David is the aggressor and has been picking fights.
As for saying David Griffin was the one sued by the Cicero's that is true, the second time things blew up. The first time it was David that went to court. The Cicero's saw David taking out Trade Marks in the EU and filed in the US to prevent him from taking it here. David then went to court to challenge them.

I know you feel your order is under attack, that is what you have been lead to believe. But please, take a few minutes to read some things outside the bubble. Read Nick Farrell's books, check out some other web sites, visit Pat Zalewski's forum, read Peregrin's and Morgan's blogs. It is true most of these people have a bad taste for David Griffin, but not for your order. Griffin stands on his own for his own actions.

Has David 'flimflam' Griffin Gone Nuts?

For those that don't know David Griffin, he is someone created a GD style magical order that now pretends to be the voice for anything GD. Griffin's order is a reconstituted, restructured, and continuously recreated. It was reconstituted from Regardie's books. It was restructured 10ish years ago to push any published materials into the outer order completely messing up the traditional grade structure. And it is continuously recreated anytime material is published that includes a ritual they used they create a new one to replace it. It seems the whole order is about selling something they deem as 'secret' as opposed to doing the work of the GD.

Throughout this whole time Griffin has tried to get the GD name solely to himself. He trademarked a version of the name, but was not given sole ownership in the US. He has declared by fiat that he and only he has the real GD linage. He has harassed anyone that called him on his bullshit, starting flame war after flame war till he has ruined the name of the GD. But all that just got him the nickname flimflam, now he seems to have lost touch with reality.

Griffin started showing signs of instability when he started to blog about some global conspiracy to ruin the GD and a puppet master pulling the strings of all those that dared to stand up to his bullshit. This was somewhat entertaining if not sad that he had slipped that far. But he really flipped out the last couple of days. He posted together a few sentences from a book by Nick Farrell and claimed they showed Nick was attacking their order (they didn't - they showed a hole in the history of the AO that allowed any type of person to use the unknown aspects of the history to create a false link to the original AO. This had been done by many groups). Then Griffin gave an order (he calls it request) to his troops to attack Nick's book on Amazon.com and give it bad ratings and a handful did. One of his troops didn't like the 'request' and let it slip out where Nick got a copy and rightfully blogged about it. This is when crazy town went into over drive. Griffin couldn't even type a coherent sentence when the blog firs went live, just posted the same cut and paste thing over and over - but under his ID and as anonymous posters. Nick cleaned that up and left the most coherent of the post there, which drove Griffin into another rage about censorship, which he later twisted into Nick trying to white wash his message board. So he called all his troupes again to stand up for him and post on the boards.

So in the middle of all this he issues his second post about who the puppet master is - yet he only tells a story about how he charged his wand - a completely ego masturbating story. Now his third part is up and he is claiming Nick is doing all this under the guidance of the puppet master - the same puppet master that is pulling the strings of the fundamentalist Christians. And he has yet to announce who the puppet master is - I guess he likes cliffhanger movies.

I am wondering if Griffin has really lost it. He has been an entertaining sideshow in the past, but now it is just hate filled lunacy. Who couldn't help but laugh before when he would do things like come up with secret chiefs that gave him a new legitimacy but only offer proof in the form of teachings that he transmits that he could have gotten anywhere (and some say he got them from the Picatrix just from the description of them). But now, someone that is full of conspiracy theories, hate, and megalomania in a position of leadership can be dangerous.

Disclaimer: These are my opinions and how I view the situation based on public information that anyone can find on the internet.

Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Proof

If I were to make a claim that space aliens have been controlling the US government for the last 100 years, wouldn't that require me to prove the claim? If I were to tell you I had already proved the point before so no use going into it again, would that suffice (I'm not telling you where I proved it before)? I am also going to make the proof available to everyone, but first you have to go through an educational course prescribed by the aliens. The course cost $2000/yr and will take you 5 years. Then you will need to be approved by the aliens to get the proof, which will be given to you slowly as new course work over the rest of your life, and that still cost you $2000/yr.

Now if your a historian and have studied that 'accepted' history of the US and you try to call me out on my claims, I am going to belittle you personally and call you out for being jealous that I know the aliens. I will use every trick in the book to make you look like you are a fool and should be shamed for even opening your mouth. Now if you go about your business and in the normal course of your business you say things that are counter to the claim of aliens controlling the US, then you are attacking me still and I have to call you on that. I will always call your 'accepted' history as just your opinion and I will call for debates where we debate the validity of your opinion by calling you names.

So instead of me just showing my proof that history is not what the world accepts, I have to stay vigilant. In the mean time I make a few bucks from those that want to eventually see the proof of the aliens.

If I am going to make claims that are extraordinary and fly in the face of known history, then any burden of proof should be on me. If for any reason I can't show that proof (such as aliens won't let me), then I can't make any claims and should just shut the hell up. If you sign up for alien school then you might just be gullible. As for the historians out there, since I won't let you go about your business in peace, you have an imperative to ruin my reputation with the evidence, because I am going to continue to pick fights with you, then say you started the fight because you are jealous.

When I first started this blog I made a post where I decided the Golden Dawn would be the best magical stream for me. After sorting through in detail what the outer order actually is, I realize it has no meaning to do it as a solo. The outer order really isn't you learning how to do magic, it is initiation rituals that are done to you. Of course there are many subjects you study, and those I can do by myself. But you can't really do much for yourself except the lbrp a minor banishing ritual. The initiations seem to be intense elemental initiations, one for each grade. Although I am curious as to whether or not so much elemental energy will tie you to the manifest plane and not let you get into the astral.

So I will continue to study the topics - except Hebrew (I don't see anything special about Hebrew. History shows the alphabet and language developed over time and was not anything given from the divine.) But I think I will have to wait till I am near a lodge before I can pursue the actual path. And hopefully I will find one not so christiancentric. I have a hard time with the christian mythos. When I was young I was raised to believe it was all try and factual. I believed and researched very deeply. I finally researched too deep. Then I discovered none of it actually happened, and I resented everything about the teachings for duping me in the first place. Now I'm happy to reform the teachings to mean something different with a magical meaning but I will always have that core of resentment to the basic mythos. So it would be better to have the same teachings framed in another mythos.

In the mean time I will study other systems. Enochian is looking interesting at the moment. Lets see where that takes me (and yes I am overlooking the christian wording of Dee's writing, most of that is just the nature of when it was written. The teachings are not christian in any way).

Paradox of Life

To live we must kill. Thus is the paradox of life. Life in the material realm is not all love and hugs, but first and foremost primarily as a predator. Whether you are vegetarian or carnivore, you are consuming the life force other creatures, as they have done the same down to the microscopic level. Even those microscopic levels are consuming on an elemental level.

We are predators. That is in our nature. But we are also creatures of compassion. And in that dichotomy lies many of the problems of human existence. No matter how many people evolve a high level of compassion, we still are required to be predators to live. We don't live in a fantasy world of Star Trek where food is generated by a replicator (and if it was would that sustain us without the life force we also take in). Is it considered more compassionate to only eat veggies because they don't have faces and can't move about? We are killing the living plant just as much as we are killing an animal. Animals are closer to our awareness so we empathize with them more. But killing and plant is still killing. So, to live we must kill.

When it comes to what must we eat, my opinion is eat what is healthy. Although in today's greed controlled food market, very little is natural and healthy. The meat is full of fast grow hormones and antibiotics, pesticides on produce, unhealthy conditions for raising both the animals and produce, and genetically modified crops that change the produce in unhealthy ways. Unless you have your own farm and garden it is hard to be healthy. A helpful side-effect from having your own garden and farm is you realize and come to terms with the fact that we are predators. You can argue that with some foods (e.g. apples or eggs) we are more parasitic than pure predator, but we are still eating life from other beings.

Accepting that we are born of a predator nature, how do we balance in the compassion that is a very real and evolving spiritual nature of humans. We have to find the right tango dance between these forces for humans to move on. Without compassion, the world moves into a winner take all, everyone for themselves, greed as the prime motivator paradigm. Without the predator, we all starve to death. One major problem with our society at the moment is that we have swung into a predator mode in all aspects of our structure. Our current basic monetary system cultivates that predator instinct, capitalism. This monetary system was expressly created to control the masses by their innate greed. This translates to people that should be team mates in a job, stabbing each other in the back to get the next promotion and make more money. We can't have a compassionate society if the structure of society itself is based on our predator nature.

There are those that think compassion is something undesirable and they hate those that have it. They want the rest of the world to get out of their way so they can be the biggest predator of the bunch. I feel these are very damaged people. They either come from a dna strain that hasn't evolved compassion or something has happened in their life to hurt them and make them close it off. They refer to the rest of the humanity as bleeding hearts, tree huggers, bunny lovers.... And then we call them Alpha dogs (not really a symmetry of pejorative names is it). Alpha dogs is a necessary component in pack animal societies. The term really doesn't apply to what is harmful, greedy, and predatorial in human society. In the past they were called more pejorative names, such as Robber Barons. But you don't hear that used much nowadays. They now run the world, control the media that programs everyone, and make all the rules to benefit themselves. This is what has to be overcome to bring balance into the world.

Before you can talk about how to bring a balance to the world, one needs to define a balance. It needs to be a point where we treat each other and the world and all the worlds creatures with respect and in a spirit of cooperation. We are all in this together, from the Robber Baron down to the lowest of lifeforms. The Golden Rule actually is the greatest of all rules, be excellent to each other (to quote Bill and Ted). Everyone is on the same team, with many of the same goals (to live a full healthy life). We should not be adversaries. We should not live our lives structured on greed. We should not have power structures that favor certain groups. And certainly we shouldn't let the least evolved of us rule us.

These are all guiding concepts, the details of how to do this will take all of us to figure out. I have my ideas, but they have their problems also. I just know we can't keep going the way we are going or we will cease to exist.

I also wonder on higher spiritual realms, is the predatory nature part of all realms? Is this just something of manifest nature or is a blue print from the nature of everything? What do archangels consume to live? Do chaos deamons feed off other beings? Do spiritual entities feed off living manifest energies? In various teachings you do encounter spiritual beings that basically manipulate people to situations that causes emotional reactions that the beings feed off of. Is that the true nature of everything? Or is it the divine compassion, the oneness, we are all connected and acting as a great machine-like function for higher purposes. Life is a paradox.

The Awareness Pool

This post isn't based on any writings I have found. This is based on a knowledge I think I have always had in this lifetime. Or something could have told me when I was young and I don't remember the telling of it. When I was young, up to my early twenties, I commonly had knowings (that is what I called them). This was just a sudden bit of knowledge placed in my head, not with words but complete ideas. It usually had an image associated with it. This bit of knowledge came to me with surety; I knew it stronger than if I had seen something with my eyes or heard it with my ears. I never had any control whatsoever when these knowings would occur. But many times they did happen when I needed them, but didn't know I needed them.

So the awareness pool is one of those bits of knowledge. But as I said, I don't remember receiving that bit of knowledge - it was just always there. In this concept, all of human awareness is like a huge lake. When one is born, water/awareness is scooped up from the lake and goes into the body. When we die our awareness goes back into the pool and mixes with everyone else's. Human awareness is really one huge awareness and our thoughts of being individuals is just an illusion of being manifest. When one is born, they can be a mix of many different parts of older humans awareness's. Thus, people are re-incarnated, just not from just one source.

This brings up all manner of questions about the nature of things. First I think the great work does help ones awareness to congeal a bit and not mix with the other awareness's when it returns to the pool. This allows one to be more re-incarnated in a next life. The great work also helps the whole of human awareness by mixing in with the pool. This is only realized once someone pursuing the great work dies and then only with those born after that awareness goes back to the pool. In some thoughts the great work not only congeals the awareness but also stops it from returning to the pool. On this point, I'm not so sure. There isn't a place in the Universe for something acting so individual, so where would the congealed awareness abide and how would it function?

Which brings up a related point. The fall. Isn't the fall really just awareness becoming individual and not following the workings of the whole. Being an individual is just part of being manifest, but at higher levels you are not an individual. The goal of our magic is to become part of the whole again. Our individuality will be lost, but the memories will remain for all.

At times, different awareness's have broken off the whole an wanted to do their own thing. Using a biblical concept that is like lucifer wanting to do what he wanted and not be part of the whole. Now one question I'm not sure of, is whether the human awareness pool is broken off from the whole or not. I tend to think it is and wants to reconnect. But there is an element of the pool that wants to stay disconnected. In biblical terms this would be like the struggle between god and lucifer- except it is within the whole of human awareness.

There are probably (note speculation based on reading) types of things an person can do that will spoil their bit of awareness so that it isn't allowed back in the awareness pool. They are then forced to live as a spirit in the manifest realm then, or they may re-manifest. These entities will never again be part of the whole.

I would love to hear anyone else's opinions on this topic.

A man from Northern Ireland has been jailed after an experiment in which he attempted to turn his own faeces into gold went wrong and started a fire in a block of flats.

Paul Moran will now serve three months in jail and a further 12 months on license after the failed experiment caused a fire at his Housing Executive home in Derrin Park, Enniskillen.
Moran admitted arson and endangering the lives of others in the fire, which reportedly caused over £3,000 worth of damage.
It is thought that as part of the bizarre experiment Moran left his faeces, along with other waste products such as fertiliser, on a heater.
In his ruling Judge McFarland told Moran: “Rather bizarrely you were attempting to make gold fromhuman faeces and waste products.
“It was an interesting experiment to fulfil the alchemist’s dream, but wasn’t going to succeed.”
Moran’s barrister mentioned that his client was a man of ‘considerable intellectual ability’ but that he had problems battling drug abuse.

Don't let this happen to you. Maybe working with alchemy in a spiritual way and not physical isn't so bad. This guy sure had crappy results (pun intended).

Trying Out New Blogger Theme

I am going to try out the new dynamic views and see what everyone thinks. I set the default view to sidebar, but leave a comment if you think it needs to be a different view, or that I need to change the background. I can't find a way to link books to amazon the way I was before with a popup info block, but maybe that is in the works. What do you think, keeper or back to old style?

Other problems I have reported with the feedback option to Google,

You don't have the list of blogs you are reading
You can't see other pages you create (non blog pages)
And lots of missing gadgets.
Adds appear where they want to, randomly. And they lost context of the site.

I'm sure these will get fixed soon.

Legend of the Rotowanker

A Parable in Bb

A long time ago in a multiverse far away there was a bronze time lordess and her team of universal elements trying to maintain the balance between chaos and order. But there was a dark magi that had grown powerful and craved more power that was threatening that balance. The dark magi known as the Rotowanker would capture dieties, elementals, or any other high energy being he could and put them in a box where he would use them as batteries to give himself more power.

One day a few of the team from the bronze time lordess were captured and the bronze time lordess set out on a mission to get them all back. Battles ensued, but neither side had the power to defeat the other. Finally the time lordess tricked the Rotowanker by letting him capture her and from the inside was able to free herself, her team, and many others.

Deprived of his power the Rotowanker went to Terra with another plan. There he would both incarnate as humans or possess them in moments of weakness, and then would use his power of charisma to enslave other humans to his desires. He used these humans as batteries before, but humans have little power and he would need to enslave millions to get where he wanted to be. He created vast religions and small religions and made himself the gateway that all had to go through. He pulled power from attention and adorations.

Now all humans are not susceptible to the Rotowankers powers and saw through his disguises. Some humans rose to challenge the Rotowanker and squash him. The bronze time lordess that was now a silver time lordess saw this and incarnated on Terra to warn them. The silver time lordess wrote warnings on plaques all over the planet. Do not feed the Rotowanker.

In one particular case the Rotowanker was failing to charm the masses. Many saw through the farce and wanted to squash him. The Rotowanker seeing the original failing decided to draw power from the attention of those that constantly warned the masses of his original scheme. The Rotowanker grew strong from the hate and then was able to charm more of the masses into his original scheme. The silver time lordess intervened and wrote another plaque - Do not Feed the Rotowanker and Do not Acknowledge him. Without the acknowledgement of the humans his power faded. Then many years later when the silver time lordess became the iron time lordess, she and her team were able to defeat him for good.

Some may ask if this warning is not the same as acknowledging the Rotowanker, on a small scale it is - yet it is not about him, it is about what we should do. Besides the Rotowanker thinks ever post is about him.

The Sky is Blue

More and more lately I feel like I am in a world where I see a blue sky, but others keep telling me it is red. Now they won't leave me alone with my blue sky, they feel it is their duty to make me see and admit the sky is red. I can't even avoid the subject of the color of the sky anymore because the red sky people are always testing me. Now I'm afraid I will wake up one morning and see the sky as red, knowing it is not. Why is everyone afraid of me for seeing a blue sky?

The above is a rant and is not really about the color of the sky.

The Searching for that Sacred Something

Speed of Time

This blog post is what happens if I watch the science channel right before I meditate.

Before I can get to the speed of time, I need to start with what is time. There are two types of time, actual time and perceived time. And as I will shortly show, the speed of time is the relationship between perceived time and actual time. This is not as subjective as you may initially think.

Time

First lets get into some of the nuts and bolts of what a physicist thinks of time. I'm sure you have heard of Einstein and his theory of Relativity. I am going to review a bit of that here, but I really recommend reading his book on the subject Relativity:The Special and General Theory.

First lets imagine a train travelling at 50 km/h (I am going to use the metric system for the global audience). If two people are standing on either end of a train car, and ones throws a ball to the other at 5km/h they both perceive the speed of the balls as 5km/h. Let's assume that the ball was thrown from the back of the car to the front of the car, so that the ball is travelling in the same direction as the train is moving. If someone was standing beside the train track and measured the speed of the ball they would see it as 55km/h (the speed of the train plus the speed of the ball in the car). The speed of the ball is relative to the observer's frame of reference.

Now lets replace the ball with a photon, a particle of light. Speed of light is always 299,792,458 meters/second or 186,282 miles/second in English units. This is usually represented by the letter C (as in the famous equation E=MCsquared.) What is special about the speed of light, is that it is always the same no matter what the frame of reference. If the people on the train car measured the speed of a light particle emitted from a flashlight it would be C. If the person by the train track measured the speed of the same light particle it would also be C, not C + 50km/h. This may not be enough to notice you may think, so lets speed up the train to half the speed of light (it is going really fast). The results are the same, the people on the train and the person standing by the track both measure the speed of the light particle as C. This goes against our macroscopic world (everyday) experience. Is this phenomena limited to only light particles? No. We can go back to using the ball. Lets say the person at the back of the car has a really good pitching arm and can toss the ball at the speed of light. Both people on the car measure the speed of the ball as C, so does the observer standing by the track.

So what is happening? For this to be possible, time has to slow down for anything travelling near the speed of light. So for this explanation lets use the observer standing by the track for a reference. If for him/her the light particle was traveling at the speed of light, then to calculate what the speed must be on the train requires subtracting the speed of the train from the speed of the particle. But the observers on the train also measured the speed of the particle as C, but it should be C - C/2 (for the train travelling at half the speed of light). The only way this is possible is that time is moving at a slower speed than it should be relative to the observer standing by the tracks.

I recommend going and reading the Einstein book for a fuller explanation. He also takes the subject much farther into the wormhole. But for us, let us note that time is relative to the frame of reference of the observer. The math also says the closer you get to the speed of light the slower time moves. Time stops when you travel at the speed of light.

There will also be many other things going on as we travel close to the speed of light which we won't consider here, but they have to do with gravity, space, matter, and energy.

Here I am going to interject a somewhat personal magical perspective into the mix. But this won't be the final conclusion as we haven't gotten to the major point of the post yet.

Our awareness has a constant speed as it moves through existence. It is analogous to the speed of light. Our awareness is travelling through time, let the speed of time be east. When we travel physically our awareness also moves with it in spacial dimensions, let physical speed be north. If we sit still we are traveling through time and going due east. But if we start travelling in space (any direction, just need a speed) we start moving a bit more north. If we travel at half the speed of light then we would be travelling NE. Remember our awareness is at a fixed speed, so we are not going as far east as we would have been sitting still. So time slows down. When we reach the speed of light we are going due north, with no east component, time stops.

What does this indicate other than the speed of light, distance, space, time, and matter are all interrelated and of the same ilk? Time doesn't move. We move through it. Quantum physics will create a picture of time of time as an ever branching tree, where each branch is where there is a probability of different outcomes. If we could stand outside of time we could see the whole tree. But we are inside the bark of the tree travelling through it's branches. But don't think of it as anything physical or spacial moving through the tree, it is only our awareness. And our awareness splinters, yet remains whole at each branch in the tree we encounter, like a holograph. Space and matter are both composed of the raw energy of time that makes up the tree. They exist as patterns of energy inside the tree. Time is the raw essence of the multiverse. The ancients knew this. Chronos (the primordial god, not the titan) was the God head of everything. He and his wife Ananke (Inevitability) created everything that followed.

Everything is energy. Everything. All that we know is vibrations in energy. Space is vibrations in energy. Matter is vibrations in energy. Our awareness is vibrations in energy. To have vibrations there must first be time, a time matrix, the tree of time.

Perceived Time

We are perceivers . Our outer awareness is first a processor for all the perceptions. Every being has an internal time perception interval where we sample our perceptions. Our time sense is basically determined by a count of time perception intervals. If in actual time of five minutes, I have 800 intervals, and you have 600 intervals, the time will be perceived to me as seeming longer than the time perceived by you. The more time perception intervals you squeeze into a set unit of actual time, the slower that unit of time will seem. This is the Speed of Time: intervals/unit_time.

Our time perception interval is not a constant. It can change with adrenaline, stress, meditation, age, and/or drugs. The average human time perception interval is about half a second. When we are younger it is slightly faster, which makes time slower. When we age our time perception interval slows down which makes time seem to speed up as we age.

The drug aspect was scientifically determined with a rat experiment. There were rats trained to push a button at 20 second intervals to keep food pellets coming. If they were off time they would not get a pellet. They became very accurate at timing the interval. Then the rats were given Cocaine. This speeded up their sampling interval, thus causing them to push the button at about 16 seconds instead of 20. Then they were given THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) which slowed down their sampling interval causing them to push the button at about 24 seconds.

Being in the moment speeds up internal clock, which speeds up time perception. A person meditating with the goal of being completely in the moment will perceive much more time than has actually passed. This can be done with athletes. They train themselves to speed up their clock, slowing down time for them, thus they can have amazing reaction times to events.

Our speed of time sense is based solely on our internal clock. Our internal clock is the sample rate for our senses. At X times per second our subconscious samples all our senses and builds us a mental model of the world. Plants have a very slow internal clock, our lives are a blur to them. To relate to another being we much change our internal clock to match theirs. This is one of the goals of magic, to change our internal clock so that we can match the frequency of beings of the spiritual realm. The common adage is that the spiritual realm is at a higher frequency than us, yet they also supposed to perceive time slower. So maybe their frequency is less than ours.

Putting it all together

So we have the tree of time and its branches. Inside this tree is space, matter, and spirit. Actually there are many realms that are not space and matter, but are of spirit. Space and matter would be the very last artifact of all the different patterns of energy vibrations in the raw energy of time. Inside this tree resides our awareness-es. Some being are hive beings, others are a shared pool of awareness with many manifested beings, others are individuals. All these beings are part of the shared awareness of the universe, which is also Time. These beings exist in the tree as slivers with a start point and end point (which may be from root of tree to end of tree). The beings perceive their existence through the sample rate of their frequency (or vibration). They do not move through the tree, they sample the next section. This is existence. We are all energy, we all are of the same stuff, we are all perceiving time, yet time is not moving, and neither are we.

There is a lot more I could say on this subject, but I don't want it to get too complicated with the first post on it. Also remember there is a difference between our manifest bodies perception of time, and our spiritual self's perception of time.
