Rachel Papo is an Israeli photographer born in 1970. Visit her Serial No. 3817131 gallery about women in the Israeli military service, which is very well photographed. She has also published a book on the same subject (which I have not yet read).

Also visit the website of Tammy David, a contributor at the Invisible Photographer Asia blog. Size matters is an intro to her frank an realistic style.

Earlier this month I spent a few days in Singapore, the shopping mall city-state located on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. Singapore is great in many ways. It’s clean and everything works.

Most people I met there have Singapore as a base but travel the region – from Australia to India – for business. Like the woman in the picture they are there but looking elsewhere.
